Remember how less than a year ago you could not find the Bersarin Quartett on YouTube at all?
    And look at it now...
So much to be grateful for.
Things are getting better and better.

Gentle rain is falling now, perfect noise for drifting off to sleep.
Good night everyone. I know I will be dreaming of the Village again.....

Hooray, we're at 800 pages! Thanks for noticing, Mad Hatter ... welcome to the village, stay awhile.

    Good morning/afternoon/evening to everyone.

It's going to be 105F today (that's 40.5C!). Whew. I send cool vibes to the people who work outdoors in this heat. My son is one of them. He says the body gets used to it. He has an awesome tan and picks up good vibes from being out in nature all day. I'm thinking SHADE. Here on the mountain in summer it's usually 10 degrees cooler than the valley. It's higher up, plus all the trees cool it off.

A robot that can beat you at rock-paper-scissors ... where's the fun in that?

I'm heading down to the valley for work. It's been a busy week, but I got it all done... now to spend the day prepping for next week. I have to find a way to blend my two worlds, where I work and they give me money and insurance, with my dream of making my living from my soap that's so good... or find a way to drop the work world. I run out of time, but am determined to keep carving out some time for my dream. It's not just me and a living, it's something more ... I don't know what it is yet, but it's what I have to do.

Love to all of you, all are beautiful ones.
    JB

    Good morning.
    No dreams of Villagers.
Instead I was in the far East, Hong Kong, or Singapoore,
and there was some confusion about finding the right address.
But the dream faded quickly from memory.
    I wish I had a dream catcher.

    So who wants post #16,000?
Only 16 more and we are there.
    Welcome Mad Hatter.
Where is Viral Spiral? Maybe her parents are still visiting.
Astrid is moving today, BenevolentCrow too, Nora is traveling,
I'm getting ready for a trip myself...so lots of changes.

I found a dead bird in my garden this morning. I heard a very strange sound early this morning and never did work out what it was but the bird had a wound on its back, and a few of the local cats like to hang out in my garden, so I am guessing that a cat got him.

Ten more mounds this morning for twenty more okra plants, and a big circular mound for squash, all in the front yard. This is in addition to the ten mounds for corn and the five for eggplant and three for watermelon. I dig up the grass, make the mound, open it up and stick a tsp of azomite about six inches down in the center, then use the azomite to cover over the seed as I sow. I've given bags of azomite to several people (I bought 44lbs) and all but one have reported a huge benefit to otherwise failing plants, ect. It turns out the one who said it didn't work put the azomite around her plants, but never watered them. Here in south MS, it's usually 5 to 10 degrees warmer than where Junebug aka Marianne lives in north AL.

    This morning's Bahai message:

Justice, is in this day, bewailing its plight, and Equity groaneth beneath the yoke of oppression.
The thick clouds of tyranny have darkened the face of the earth, and enveloped its peoples.
Through the movement of Our Pen of glory We have, at the bidding of the omnipotent Ordainer,
breathed a new life into every human frame, and instilled into every word a fresh potency.

All created things proclaim the evidences of this world-wide regeneration.
This is the most great, the most joyful tidings imparted by the Pen of this Wronged One to mankind.
Wherefore fear ye, O My well-beloved ones? Who is it that can dismay you?
A touch of moisture sufficeth to dissolve the hardened clay out of which this perverse generation is moulded.
The mere act of your gathering together is enough to scatter the forces of these vain and worthless people.

Quote Anyway, lately I have started hearing the whole forum here sounding not unlike this, a synchronous harmony, whenever I begin to feel into the soul of the collective. Next I turn my attention to the whole planet, and it is also similar, though not as pronounced. If I go to the Here & Now thread, it is almost deafening, but in a blissful way I never felt before. I wonder if anyone else is picking up on this?

PL, you've been talking about azomite for awhile, and you've convinced me to try it too. Thanks.

Do you know about three sisters? Planting corn, beans and squash together? It's a native American thing, they grow well together.

'Corn is the oldest sister. She stands tall in the center.

Squash is the next sister. She grows over the mound, protecting her sisters from weeds and shades the soil from the sun with her leaves, keeping it cool and moist.

Beans are the third sister. She climbs through squash and then up corn to bind all together as she reaches for the sun. Beans help keep the soil fertile by coverting the sun's energy into nitrogen filled nodules that grow on its roots. As beans grow they use the stored nitrogen as food.'

If it gets 5-10 degrees warmer than 105F, I hope you find some shade today.

Credit for the azomite goes to Carmody. He had mentioned it several times over the last year and a half, and if he bothers to repeat himself, it is worth paying attention to.

I've always been one for self scrutiny, and shied away from triumphalism.
But there is something to be said for both. Leaders who instilled patriotism
in their people sure knew why they were doing it.

Self worth in a group adds to a sense of unity, which then becomes an energetic force.
This force in our case is not used for destruction, but on the contrary...

Someone has to show that power is not something that is exclusive to the PTB Cabal.
    We, the people......

@ulli- funny, years of self scrutiny eventually led to great triumphalism.

@JB- I had heard the natives sowed lentil with corn, so all my corn got lentils right there with it, but the round mound I was putting squash in will now have all three sown together and I will report (eventually) on the difference. My twenty ocra went in the front but it was too dang hot to do anymore until evening. I got me some decent hoses at the hardware store this morning, which will lead to better watering with less waste. The house we bought was once a nursery for exotic shrubbery, so we moved in with a shed full of old gardening implements. The hoses we dug out of the bushes still worked well enough, until I had a blow out yesterday, but other than replacing those every tool I've used was here when we moved in. The universe knew exactly where we should be, no doubt about it!

I believe I've mentioned before that we've created a sort of bird sanctuary in our garden, and have attracted quite a few lovely avian friends, some of whom we've come to name. Moreover, now the squirrels have also joined in, and it's great to see both species happily munching within feet of each other without fear. There are a few feral cats in the neighborhood, so Amos has assumed the role of Protector, and will chase them away when they try to sneak up and snatch one of the birds. It's a matter of constant vigilance, which is not unlike the attitude of an aspirant in certain types of meditation.

When reality explodes in you, you may call it experience of God. Or, rather, it is God experiencing you. God knows you when you know yourself. Reality is not the result of a process; it is an explosion. It is definitely beyond the mind, but all you can do is to know your mind well. Not that the mind will help you, but by knowing your mind you may avoid your mind disabling you. You have to be very alert, or else your mind will play false with you. It is like watching a thief - not that you expect anything from a thief, but you do not want to be robbed. In the same way you give a lot of attention to the mind without expecting anything from it. ~Sri Nisargadatta

Speaking of Ishtar, I had another dream of the one I've identified with Inanna, last night. I'm not sure where all this is going, but it's finally become apparent that she is becoming younger with each progressive dream. This last dream, she was probably only thirteen or fourteen. I was living in the house with she and her parents, and it was clear to me that we were betrothed.

The entire French royal court would all be present to watch the marriage of a twelve year old crown prince become consummated with his child bride. Maybe that's who you once were...Louis XII or whichever number.

PS and I'm editing this post to announce the next one is the big 16000.
Go grab it, PL, and a cold six-pack or a tub of ice cream will be yours.

I'd go for the sixer, and I'd share with Fred.
