Thread: Liver detox / Liver flush

So it's June now, and I've just done my 5th liver flush!

With this one I've passed very very few stones, and I think I'm coming to an end with this process! . The 4th flush was the most dramatic as stones go, and I was beginning to worry I'll never finish getting them out!

The most noticeable change for me is loosing 26kg (aprox 57 pounds), and being and looking much healthier.

Up until this year I did not value the detox processes to much, this has also changed. I am now a firm "believer" in the detox requirement if you want to restore your health.

I shall try to remember and post one final note after I am completely finished with the process, probably in about 2 months or so.

    Hi Ilie,

Thanks for your report. It looks like you are having great value from the liver detox. I am about to have my third cleanse, no 'real results' so far, no green shiny stones, but funnily enough something feels like it is improving.. so, I keep going and I will join with everyone's recommendations for the Moritz 'miracle cleanse' book and the detox plan, just as you recommend it to me. Thank you very much for the reminder that our bodies-vehicles are not less important than our spirit.

    Hi Limor,

I am not sure if I mentioned it, but before I've started this I used to have pain in the liver area, so much so that it would prevent me from sleeping. That to me was clear indication that the liver was in big trouble. The pain has reduced greatly after the first cleanse, and gone after the second with only occasional discomfort. Now with the 5th the liver seems to be doing fine, as I don't have any more pain or discomfort in that area.

While cleaning the liver I've also followed through with all the other detox advice for the intestines, kidneys and skin. And I am pretty sure those have helped a lot too! (Especially cleaning the gut). From February, I've been keeping to a vegetarian diet (and I am not looking here to debate whether that is good or bad, just reporting my experience) and I've also discovered the "juice fasting" that I've used a couple of times.

The point I am trying to make is that the results may be as a consequence of all the things I did and not necessarily just the liver cleanse.

This is an interesting liver flush method. I haven't read the books on this, so I'm not sure what his method of replacing the beneficial bacteria inside the intesines is?

I do enemas regularly in the Gerson fashion. It is simply 1 litre of room temperature organic medium roast coffee infused into the rectum, held for 12-15 minutes and released. The general rule of thumb is that it takes three 8 oz. organic vegetable juices(either green w/ apple, or carrot and apple) per liver flush to replenish the enzymes and nutrients the stomach needs to reproduce the beneficial enzymes and bacteria inside the intestines.

I would just like to bring to everyones attention that while you are flushing out the bad stuff from your system, you are simultaneously flushing out the good stuff. The good stuff needs to be replaced. I'm assuming you may use something like pro-biotics, but proper nuitrition is the key to a healthy gut, which is why I prefer the organic carrot/apple juices.

I would also like to agree with Ilie that if you are going to embark on any of this, please do your own research. If you wish to try the Gerson method please visit Gerson.org for more information. I don't do the full Gerson Therapy, but I have adopted the enemas/juices. I suggest Charlotte Gerson's book titled 'HEALING The Gerson Way' for anyone with any kind of health problems.

Best of luck to everyone with the liver flushes-

    Hello,

Funny to find a liver detox subject here as we (my partner and I) plan our second one this week having done our first a few months ago. Mine was horrendous (i will halve the dose of 1/2pint olive oil 2 grapefruits and 1 lemon) and no production of gallstones but my partner was more successful (I'm vegetarian and he eats meat - not sure if that has anything to do with it(?)).

I did notice a mention of dairy and tentatively wondered if this link on the link between dairy and addiction may be useful to some people:

If you are a vegetarian you should have less toxins built up in your liver, hence, less toxins coming out. This is a good thing!! That stuff isn't supposed to be in there. A vegan, or vegetarian who eats a large portion of organic fruits and vegetables in their diet has little need for a flush IMO. The body does it naturally if you eat toxin free vegetables and fruits. If there is no toxin intake, toxins never gets into the bloodstream and never gets deposited in the liver.

If you eat a lot of fruit and vegetables an enema will be extremely hard to hold in. This is completely normal, and it's normal for those who are on a plant based vegetarian diet to not expel toxins when doing a flush.

I use a different method of flushing, but it's obvious alchohol leaves many toxins in the liver which needs to be flushed. So, if you don't drink and your husband does, it will make the effects of his flush that more dramatic than yours. I have personally noticed that even a few drinks of alchohol cause quite a dramatic release of toxins from the liver.

    Best of luck-

I agree that your diet is a key aspect of this. Basically, if no toxins get into your body, there is nothing toxic to flush out. A plant based vegetarian diet is great. Organic is the least toxic way to go, if you have access to it.

It's great to hear that you are doing well.

Just watch being a vegetarian. It isn't simple. You do have to find good sources of protein and hope your body adjust. I'm a vegetarian and it hasn't been a smooth ride.
Eating cheese doesn't really count (in my book) as an alternative to meat. Just one FYI.

Well, the sixth liver flush is now behind me.

I wrote previously that I may be close to the finish, but apparently that is not the case :biggring:

With my sixth flush I've passed again many many stones, with a few big ones. So this suggests that I may still have a few more flushes left. The bad news is that I had hopped I'm done, but the good news is that I am glad these toxins are getting out. Also the flushing process is now painless. The only source of discomfort being the epsom salts, that are very very bitter.

To clarify, the first flushes were painless too, but I did experience some nausea and discomfort while passing the very first stones. I still believe this is the most "user friendly" process of cleaning your liver, with the exception (perhaps) of juice fasting... . So don't be scared, inform yourself, and if it feels right for you, clean your liver.

Eating cheese doesn't really count (in my book) as an alternative to meat. Just one FYI.
Most vegetarians who have problems do not eat a plant based diet. The Gerson is a totally plant based organic diet and those people have no issues with protein deficiency, eating over 20 pounds of fresh produce daily. There is adequate protein in vegetables, but some "vegetarians" eat junk food. I knew a vegetartian who ate a lot of ice cream, and cookies and was not a healthy person. But if you eat vegetables your body takes in the nutrients and naturally expels toxins. The human body is actually designed to be vegetarian by the intestinal design. Meat eating animals have a very short intestine which allows meat to digest and be expelled quickly from their bodies. Humans have a very long, complex intestinal system which match the intestines of a plant eating animal..

By the way, I am not a vegetarian. If I was, I would not need to flush my liver regularly. I know I have issues with toxins getting in, and this is why I do the regular enemas to flush the liver out. I still eat meat, and can't always afford organic produce. Every now and again, I will have a drink, too. All of these things make it necessary to flush the liver. If you keep taking toxins in, you will have to flush the liver to keep it healthy. It's a never ending process.

This weekend I've done my seventh flush.

It was very different from the others. I've only passed 4-5 small green stones but a lot of what appeared to be yellow sand that did not float.

My guess is that was cholesterol calcified stones possibly mushed away by the malic acid, but I am not sure. Anyway I am happy is out, and again hopeful about approaching the end of this procedure .

I've had no discomfort or nausea this time but is getting harder and harder to drink the epsom salts. They are very bitter.

Andreas Moritz does not say anything different, and he does not claim apple juice its good for you.

You simply need the malic acid from the apples. If you can ingest that w/o the juice then all is well... this is why I really recommend to read the book. Information taken out of context can be harmful.
I've also read recently that malic acid is good for decalcification -- which helps with one's pineal. My liver has been hurtin' a little now and again, I'll have to research these liver flushes a little ... A natural supplement that may help with this process is an herbal product called Phylanthus Niruri or 'Chanca Piedra' as it is known locally where it grows, which literally translates to "break stone" -- excellent for gall bladder and liver and kidney detox.

Good to hear the flushes work for you IP, i am up tp my 9th flush, it seems like the more flushes i have done the harder my body resists the Epsom salts.

Results of flushes varied a bit though, also smelled awfull when the stones dissolved after a few days ( even in a closed jar in the fridge, i kept them there to stare at them in amazemend) , anyway, its good the stones have left my body, whats out, is out.

Not looking forward to the next flush though, not because of the flush, but the Epsom salt.

Oh my!! I don't think I'd put those nowhere near the fridge .

I have the same experience with the epsom salts, but I have a mini speech for the body, explaining it's for the good health we are experiencing. It helps

PS: Better to make pictures to stare at . They don't dissolve and don't smell )

You are totally right about the pictures, dont have a digital cam though, reason i kept them for a few days was to stare at them and think words like holy crap "That was inside of ME?".

NAH [putting them in the jar is not a problem Ilie, the fridge is no problem too, its opening the jar thats bad, you know, to shake and ratlle them around a bit , thank god i am past that stage now, Epsom salts are still pretty much disgusting, yechhhhhhhh.

Glad you guys are sticking with the flushes. I'm up to 12 or 13 flushes now. Haven't done one for a while now.

I felt a lot better since the 4th flush and I got the parasites out see post #34 of the PA1 thread in the first post. we do a lot of things to detox and keep our gut healthy... Fermented Kefir water and kefirmilk and distilled water obviously. I also do quite a lot of urine therapy which really does clean the lymph system. I've even started another ferment liquid today and will see how that is in approximately 2 weeks

    Fred,

This does seem to be the case.

I have a few spiritual friends. I have a few aware friends. I have a few friends who are into fitness. I have a few friends who are into eating healthily. I have a few who are into detoxing. ...But not many who are aware of how they all link together to get the best from the physical and spiritual bodies... I got into the detoxing and health from finding out about the 'agendas' we find out about on places like PA... Eventually you take steps to counter them rather than being consumed by spreading 'fear porn'... I try to ignore what is going on in msm, and limit sites like these too much as you end up 'consumed' to some extent. I suppose once you know what is going on.. you know.

Default Re: Liver detox / Liver flush

For those who have real parasite issues the liver flush is great but it may not eliminate all the parasites but it can be essential for opening up pathways of elimination. Parasites can kill you and they can work their way into vital organs like the heart and brain. I have had a few patients over the years who died from large worms in the brain.

You should not count on liver flushes to kill all the parasites.

Here is a post from my blog regarding the treatment of parasites. After you read it you will realize that even MMS has a hard time killing them all. Consider carefully the treatments you choose and make sure they are all gone. How long it takes and what you use will depend on how advanced your case is and where the parasites are actually located, and of course don't count on any doctor to help you figure that out!
