LOL... I said, it was what I perceived about the Obama's. It's based on reading Michelle's thesis, Obama's past associations, and his actions. I guess I lose my "solid" member status.

That is not what I meant!
No matter what the ideology of the system is there are people who take what goes with them.
The ultimate of communism was good. I won't even bother to discuss that. Huge! No matter how corrupted the russiand system was there were many people who were quire outstanding taking principales literally. They were nice people, trust me! They had a vision of the best of humanity. I am not inro ideology now, but into Russians. Probably that's why in the 90s we had many foreignors who loved to come to the country 'cos they simply were surprised to see this openness, kindness and in a sense naiveness of the people. Too much to say and that is my vision anyway.
Not everything is so simple! You system breaks apart now too. Please do not tell that you see the connection with Russia/Putin/KGB and la-la-la.

Have you ever watched Yuri Bezmenov's youtube videos? He is very interesting and the traditional American system and the communist system are not compatible. True capitalism is not what we have here in America anymore. I understand not wanting to discuss those issues. The fact is we have a President who is not aligned with our system and by his actions, writings, who he surrounds himself with makes it very apparent he wishes America to be communist.

Unified Serenity, I have too been born in communist country. I remember martial law declared in Poland and remeber tanks and army on the streets. Although my family was not involved in neither supporting or opposing the government. I remeber that time when everything was "easy" and you had not to hurry anywhere. No commercials in TV or on the streets. No artificially sustained state of need. No pornography or violence. Today i live in "capitalist" Poland with "free market". You have to be constantly in the hurry you have to constantly work your ass off for nothing and those damn commercials with tits everywhere on them everywhere you go and on every damn TV channel.

Dear Madam, if you live in any country nowdays, you are a part of the collective. Your life is controlled on every step. Like it or not. You can pretend that you live in an alternative world along the mainstream system but until there are countries or flags, we are slaves to that symbols. Globalism is good. But not as it is proposed by NWO pushers. Any "system" that not builds itself on spirituality and love is doomed to fall. Like communism did and the cherished by so many capitalism is about to do...

Man! We have passed that trough in Russia during Perestroyka years. There were so many those KGB guys who were eager to tell how it was in the USSR. Bulls*t!
Anyway! I have come to impression that we are here at the brink of a total change. Something go to happen! I just feel it! And that will be as nothing had been before.
There is no use in using those "-ism"s anymore.

I will not say the pledge of allegance, nor salute nor give any credence to the flag.

I am very sorry that so many have died under this flag that has flown in so many wars under lies and false pretense.

Capitalism and communism are two sides to the same coin. They were funded by the same bankers. They both worship the model of materialism and industrialism that overtook the world in the 19th Century. I agree that conservative Americans are brainwashed to react against the very word "communism," and have been since the 50s. However, I'm not ready to say that people like Mao and Stalin were heroes. No doubt in communist countries there is a similar anti-capitalist form of brainwashing going on -at least what's left of communism. Now it seems to be militant Islam that's playing the primary anti-American role in the ongoing dialectic that tries to force us to take sides.

If you dig a little, you'll find that many forces within the Western world helped to prop up radical Islam, just as they did Communism. Any kind of ideology is brainwashing, including the belief that a particular ideology is the root of all evil in the world. Now some clever person could say I'm contradicting myself, that this is an ideology in itself. Perhaps, but we can still try to come up with belief systems that are relatively free of indoctrination, or what Robert Anton Wilson called reality tunnels.
