Nothing is impossible. But, stuff like this has come out before, and nothings happened yet, but these things have been predicted for years, that is, something to happen THIS year. We can't fully dismiss it. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best, and live each day like its your last.

My eldest daughter is career military and stationed in Virginia. She currently has her 11 year old niece (my youngest daughters, daughter) spending the summer with her on the base.
If this were true, and she was aware of it...I can guarantee that she would not have her niece with her, nor her own children. They would all be hustled off somewhere safe.

Something of this nature (briefings for dependants), even with signed disclaimers could not be contained. Too much family involvement. Be reasonably prepared for any emergency at any time and do not let fear rule your life. IMHO

Probably not true. If true then in the Norfolk/Hampton area of Virginia there are literally millions of dependent associated with the ten military bases in the area. There is no way if they told this to dependents it wouldn't get out to the rest of the public. I also grew up in that area a dependent. I doubt that this is true. I'll call one of my high school friends and see what is up.

Don't know bout y'all, if ya wanna try this or not, but I discovered something quite by accident one day when I was watching the sun come up. looked at the sun, then looked at my wall, which is white, and there was 2 spots. There was a big spot, and a smaller spot just up and to the right about the 1:00 area. hmm. You can't look at the sun with unfiltered vision, to see more than one object. Perhaps if someone has a proper sun filter to look through, they could see if there something alongside of the sun. hmm.

Other than something being there, I don't have a clue, as to why I am suddenly seeing two spots. Yep, then again it could just be an age thing. hee hee chuckle chuckle.

Yepper, that is what the man said.

There are several accounts to this. Brian says its 150 ft across. Other accounts say its much bigger than that.
The range is from a d00ms day event to not to worry about a thing.
Whatever the case, the military could use it as a reason to implement another one of their emergency situation "sustainability" exercises.

the military always keeps dependents in the dark. It's always misdirection ...hell the troops don't know anything until 5 min before moving out to do the mission. the captian doesn't know until the phone call from the major and the major waits on the full bird and the full bird waits on the dam general ... and the general usually gets the full bird from the politican. Politicians lie to us , what do you think they do to their robot commandos ??
