so i would not give an accurate account from the Book

if i did not bring it up once in a while


in this Bible thread ; )

Have you ever studied about HELL? or do just accept the orthodox view of hell? And then pound people over the head with it. "It is the goodness of God that leads a person to repentance" not the fear of endless torment.

Here is a link to a free pdf book I am reading, and considering, as I have studied on this topic before and am continuing to "test all things, and hold on to what is true" concerning the Good News of God. I challenge you to read it, and then come back here and have a more informed discussion on hell and damnation.

All of your posts are the words of a man - I rarely see you actually quote actual scriptures in their context, nor are they in the original language with the definition behind it, mostly it just your opinions of scriptures and the way YOU, a man, understand it - which is what everyone does. We are told to study to show ourselves approved, to search out the mysteries of God that are hidden in the scripture, and to expose the unfruitful works of darkness. The Old English translation of the Bible has many mistakes in it, and you must study and find out for yourself what those are - and so we read and consider what other people have to say on the matter and allow the Holy Spirit to direct our paths. You can then either accept or reject what is being said - it is up to you! Have you ever even looked up one word of the scripture to see what the Greek or Hebrew definition is? Have you ever read a "literal" translation of the Bible? As the KJV is NOT a literal translation!!! Have you ever asked the Father to fill you, baptize you, with His Holy Spirit? Do you even know the difference between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant? Like I stated above, I do not debate the scripture as it is pointless, I just state the understanding I have from many years of searching and studying, and I continue to search out the knowledge of the truth and what that means to me. The Love of God goes a long way in reconciling people back to God, and fear is not His love. This is why it is called the Good News (Gospel) as it is good news, and is nothing to be afraid of or controlled by.

Have you ever even looked up one word of the scripture to see what the Greek or Hebrew definition is? Have you ever read a "literal" translation of the Bible? As the KJV is NOT a literal translation!!! Have you ever asked the Father to fill you, baptize you, with His Holy Spirit? The Love of God goes a long way in reconciling people back to God, and fear is not His love. This is why it is called the Good News (Gospel) as it is good news, and is nothing to be afraid of or controlled by.

Of corse I have questions - why else would I have spent so much time studying the scriptures, and other literature I have, and have found on the net, and been a member on Avalon all this time, and what other people have to say - no matter what their beliefs or viewpoint is - I still listen, as there is still much to learn.

I am sorry to see that this is your attitude, it is sad - to me - that you feel this way. Personally, I feel that if people ever really understood the Gospel of Christ - without all the mind controls of this world - it would never be turned away. And you don't need hellfire and endless torment for this to happen. Of corse, this is just my humble opinion - and is what I consider to be the true message of the Bible - as a whole from cover to cover.

Evolution, yes but as for the others;

Reincarnation is real, and its in the Bible, its just not acknowledged by Christianity as a whole, probably because it makes it all too confusing and often leads to fatalism

Karma, well worth reading up on, its really nothing more than the complete & technical version of sin, its identical, only more helpful to spiritual development than the right & wrong approach of sin as a concept.

Now the really good bit, Aliens; just from probability alone they must exist, we now know there are planets beyond number out there, why would God bother making them all if they weren't to support life ? Just to look good on a night is a lame reason.

There are plenty of people who have met Aliens, just as many people remember past lives, I have had both of these experiences so I know that they are real, can I prove it ?

Dear Red---- seems we live in different worlds.
I see the intrinsic goodness in people. I see unselfish actions from my friends, the woman or man at the check out with big smile the lovely eye.
I note that any time there is a calamity on the other side of the world that people with little money to spare in the UK and elsewhere are digging deep into their pockets to bring much needed assistance.
My wife started the charity on my signature --- people I have never met have donated on line and I again thank them-- they make a difference.
The acts of goodness are so many that they pass virtually un noticed. One man shoots people in a cinema and the whole world knows.

If we do our best to follow the first two commandments everything else falls into place.

(this is the crucial thing to point out what`s going on in Earth regarding our complete understanding of how life works)

Finally we see how bible tell us that while in this body or by modern phrase-3d ,we have incomplete experience. Because of our current conscience we are not aware of what is happening outside and inside of us, in spirit realms and whole universe.


Beauty of this is that is all out in the open for all to see. But because of certain people during history has meddled out with Bible or more precisely meddled out with their own interpretations of Bible- we have been stuck in the mud -figuratively.


Time is here where God will remove those meddlers and humanity will reach its pinnacle.
Bible is I repeat one of the God`s tools to elevate mankind.
We abused it through religions.


But God also have many more tools and for each one we abuse , God makes two more so we can never exhaust God`s Love towards us.


Key part in all this is what Horizons,Kreagle and RedeZra has pointed out in some of their posts- Holy spirit.
Without it - it`s not possible to understand what Bible is for and how to use this tool of God.


It`s the same with artifacts of ET `s.
Without proper knowledge they are dead matter.


Great examples are from two movies ; LOTR fellowship and Prometheus.


In the first, a fellowship was stuck before rock doorway and despite all their efforts rock would move an inch.
They tried everything but nothing happened-until Frodo resolved the riddle with one simple word (frequency vibration upon which sophisticated tech works-other worldly from our perspective).


Suddenly it works!
If you know how.


In Prometheus , that alien ship was dead until android released the codes and all of a sudden thing works and has its cool effects (sound again as a vibration frequency upon which super advanced tech operates).


Same is with Bible.
No holy spirit by God- no understanding.


And holy spirit is only given to ones whom God deems right in their heart and soul.
Depends what kind of vibration they emit -Love or Fear- God will grant holy spirit or not.


So again full circle back at the beginning- it`s all about us,our choices, will and level of conscience.
Heaven, hell- sure I chose,all chose.


God is just telling its children whom they are and what can possibly happen when they choose something.

Wisdom lies in listening our Creator.
For when we grow finally in love and wisdom we grow into God .
