Ixnay and a disciple once went camping in the Lumenurium Desert, and after a day of exploring, found a suitable camp spot, set up their tent, enjoyed a modest meal and some star gazing, and finally turned in for the night.

It was a loss for the students, staff and administration where you taught, but we gained a teacher in the greater arena. Gifted with compassion, patience, and knowledge is a recipe for others to awaken.

There are times where I’ve watch myself spiral into silence and sadness and numbness because of someone’s false perceptions. One of the things I am learning from you is the “grace under fire”. So I’ll use this opportunity to say thank you.

Rahkyt, I've been following the "WTF!!! Racist emoticon" thread. I checked this morning and another three pages added.

Some of the responses on those 3 pages are actually pretty thoughtful, while others are unfortunate but indicative of where people are, so, I suppose, it's all good. I've presented an alternative viewpoint for people to take or leave. Our participation in PA is a public record. Everything we write is there for the world to see and reflective of who we are at the moment. I respect people's differences but sometimes the amount of self-righteousness and confidence people display while supporting beliefs based upon a lack of compassion or knowledge of the facts is astounding. Being ignorant of many things myself, I try to communicate in an understanding manner. I hope it is successful and that those who are reading in anonymity get what they can by being exposed to both sides of the discussion.

Appreciate who you are.

Recently spent 2 weeks on a Native American Indian reservation in the Northern Plains participating in ceremonies, all of it was in good prayer for all beings of the Cosmos and for our precious earth, with many mixed blood and full blood Native Americans. I'm a mixed blood. Spirit definitely carried me through it all.
My ideal for me is to do my best to walk my life like tthat in every present moment.

For the first 15 years of my life many, many beliefs systems were imposed/indoctrinated/brain washed on me by family and those in my immediate environment. It drove me nuts.

One of the groups in my immediate environment was the Western KKK. They were all very, very wealthy. Started and invested in large corporations.... no tattoos and I never heard one reference to or racial slurs -not ever. But this is what they did do.... anyone who was not what they considered, as pure, was treated as a none entity -non-existent.

I was pre-teen early teen when I first discovered this and began my journey into deprogramming my-self. It began with the question, "if human beings have a Soul and a Spirit how can they be a none entity?" Silently.
When I was able to I got as far far away as I could.

Our beautiful earth and the Cosmos are so full of many many highly intelligent, Soulful diverse beings sometimes it takes my breath away.

Yes, the is a form of a wall there, that is tied to given situation. One can get too entrenched in their given knowing, and find it slipping from the ability to know and be in every moment..to being a rote action, a repeated mantra that slowly distances itself from the depths of how one should be 'in situ'. Kinda like a lesson that within the scope of the idea of being immersed in 'time'... there is no perfect answer.

Which is why I keep flashing between the two. As in, there is no falling from grace, that is a concept bound by the very issue of distance in and from knowing. Time and distance being related in a 3d world with a temporal flow. (differential in all components, big and small, macro and quantum)

Which is part of why I chose the route of being in the pain of others, besides the skill residing in me of being able to help in those moments, at that time.

very touching, i'm sorry you lost your mom.

My mom and I hit a lot of turbulence in the road over the years, but became friends and had a good relationship.

A few years ago she sent me one of those little inspirational notes in a birthday card. While cleaning out some boxes, I found the note about a week before my birthday (smiled to myself). When I read your above post made me think of the message inside of the note thought I would share it with you.
