20 pages is rather quick to basically see more clearly in a situation like this. This was not well thought out and VERY weak IMO.

Oh, Ulli, we reap what we sow most definately; however, we punish people to affect others thoughts of repeating the process. This is about ego and "my 15 minutes of fame". The problem is, I can really foresee an extremely awful outcome eventually. Of course, these sociopaths and parasites would not take responsibility if someone who is on edge due to whatever external circumstances were to really believe their little drama party and kill their family and themselves, or kill some "bad" guy that someone like Drake drones on and on about. These people would say, "I didn't shoot anyone. I'm not responsible for what some wacko does."

Then let's take this a step further. The msm would say, "It's because of internet forums and civilian reporters / journalists sharing this information that Mr. / Mrs. X killed x,y.z, and therefore we need to curtail such organizations via special licensing and restrictions of what they can post." Maybe that is why this crap is happening. They want our guns so they commit terrible crimes with "nutjobs" killing dozens then blame the guns. Now, they want to shut down truth sites, so let's get some jackwad to put out fake news and these sites post it and someone kill a bunch of people, so we can shut them down.

This is all one big psy op to shut us up.

To be frank, I hadn't thought of that. It's true...permissive society with unfettered freedom
does mean that sooner or later some nut becomes a menace (problem)
which leads to more government legislation (solution).

If we had a self moderating world there would be no need for an elite to intervene.
Equally, if we had a more loving and supportive society, there would be no need for people
to go to extremes to get attention, even negative attention.

What I think is even worse is now no one is examining the content, which has been presented by real scientists in the past. I myself was slightly hopefully a break would make it on the subject. Oh Well, hollywood bites! whats worse than yelling fire in the theater to pick pocket, is planning on starting an actual fire the next time around.

Thank you nomadguy..... this was the topic of a discussion I was having with some friends last night. We looked at as many scenarios as possible and by separating the "actor" from the "message" decided that there is validity in the hypothesis.

The next question is, if this event were a certainty, which it is not - how would that effect me and the choices I am currently making? It could be an important piece of data. I think it wise to steer ones critical thinking and intuition in that direction instead of conjecturing about the dentist... oh I mean actor... oh I mean NASA scientist.

I am looking for the grain in the chaff.

They want to take my right to protect my family because some nut breaks the law with a gun and kills a bunch of people. How about the person whose speech causes a riot or mass reaction that starts burning down a city? I am not being hyper dramatic. If the right spark is lit, then massive damage can be done. These fake doom prophets need to be dealt with in a reasonable manner. I am not sure what that is, but this crap needs to stop.

There is no quick fix and i understand the desire to fix things.

I think we did a pretty good job of handling this fake doom prophecy.

I am curious about the script linking pole shift with the year 2016. Since the script writer could easily set the year to be 2012 or 2013, to create greater fear, or say anytime sensibly from 2014 to 2018. Why 2016, the year of the catastrophic pole shift in the information given to Bill and Kerry by an insider they trusted? I believe this ‘coincidence’ is the reason both Bill and Kerry believed him to be genuine in the beginning.

I don’t remember hearing from Bill or Kerry talking about a 2016 pole shift. My search skill is not very good, but I found no talk of the pole shift in year 2016 on the internet. Or is this somewhat believed in some circles? Can Bill tell us a little more of this, now that this is blown open by Dr. Dentist?

“She believed something was going to happen that would change the world, I’m not sure whether she ever fully believed that it was going to end, but she definitely thought something was going to happen.”

“She read articles on all different types of things which could make the world end, she read about 15 to 20 articles over the course of 2011 with her best friend.”

“The most recent one she read was on sun spots and how if they went wrong it could cause a nuclear reaction,” he added.

I know none of us can be sure of all the reasons for her suicide, but personally, it is stories like this - and this can't be the only one - that remind me of the importance of investigation and the development of critical thinking skills when approaching the type of information sometimes presented on this forum.

I feel we should have a sense of responsibility here...we can't expect everyone to be stable and mature enough to deal with some of the sensationalism out there.

If there was a well publicized news story of someone committing suicide in despair after viewing such an "end of the world as we know it" video as this one was, and if that was followed by a clamoring for changes in the law to make posting such videos a criminal offense, then ...

I'd figure it was a psyops with the intention of shutting down legitimate whistle blowers.

On a separate detail, I've received suggestion(s) to change this threads title, or to split it, as the thread has wandered off the initial topic of what was in that Dentist's video, to a related topic of what to do about such fake videos.

Off hand, I don't see a worthwhile improvement to be made in this thread's title, or much to gain from splitting it. Such thread drift is common, and thread titles and organization are a blunt and imperfect tool for organizing our discussions here. Such thread drift and such inaccuracy of thread titles is common; I'm not surprised by such and often conclude that this is just one of the limitations of the medium in which we communicate.

But if someone wants to make further such suggestions, on this thread or others, sometimes they will seem "right on" to me or another mod, and happily be applied.

For anyone traveling the path of self discovery this thread served a great purpose.
I don't know if anyone else sees I this way, but I must say I feel I'm better off or it.
I saw new attitudes, feelings and thought processes in myself that weren't there before.
My skepticism is so much healthier, my ability to put new info on a mental shelf without biting the hook as I had done in the case of Charles Atticus.

This is how you raise awareness.
