President Obama knows that agribusiness cannot be trusted with the regulatory powers of government. On the campaign trail in 2007, he promised: We'll tell ConAgra that it's not the Department of Agribusiness. It's the Department of Agriculture. We're going to put the people's interests ahead of the special interests.
But, starting with his choice for USDA Secretary, the pro-biotech former governor of Iowa, Tom Vilsack, President Obama has let Monsanto, Dupont and the other pesticide and genetic engineering companies know they'll have plenty of friends and supporters within his administration.
President Obama has taken his team of food and farming leaders directly from the biotech companies and their lobbying, research, and philanthropic arms:
Michael Taylor

former Monsanto Vice President, is now the FDA Deputy Commissioner for Foods.
Roger Beachy

former director of the Monsanto-funded Danforth Plant Science Center, is now the director of the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture.
Islam Siddiqui

Vice President of theMonsanto and Dupont-fundedpesticide-promoting lobbying group, CropLife, is now the Agriculture Negotiator for the US Trade Representative.
Rajiv Shah

former agricultural-development director for the pro-biotech Gates Foundation (a frequent Monsanto partner), served as Obama's USDA Under Secretary for Research Education and Economics and Chief Scientist and is now head of USAID.
Elena Kagan

who, as President Obama's Solicitor General, took Monsanto's side against organic farmers in the Roundup Ready alfalfa case, is now on the Supreme Court.
Ramona Romero

corporate counsel to DuPont, has been nominated by President Obama to serve as General Counsel for the USDA.

When the necons came into power again, with George Junior in the Whitehouse, they did something seriously wrong and underhanded.

They took the deep power neocon supporters, who had proved themselves in other venues and ways..and put them into the positions of being the heads of all the departments that the Whitehouse was responsible for, with regard capacity to appoint new heads to said offices.

In those choices, or department head appointees....there is no oversight, except for the given amount of public awareness..in the form of noticing and complaining. in some cases..known criminals have been given these offices to control.

The new heads of those departments, like FDA, CIA, FTC, FBI, FEMA, Agriculture, and so on.. nearly 70 heads of 70 departments, IIRC.

Now, I know of a deputy director of one of these departments.


What I found out, was that this was a 'viral insertion' attempt and directive, regarding a directive to create PERMANENT control of these offices by the appointed fanatical neocons.

What they did, is they harassed all the old time and long term civil servants who where the backbone of making these departments work for their original purposes, which was the public good.

Those folks, the career civil servants from the deputy directors and on downward...they had spent lifetimes protecting the public and they were originally hired for their capacities and competence.

The necon hitmen that where sent in to be the department heads, they contrived to fire, demote and drive out as many of those public servants as was possible, by any means possible.

They drove out many of them and replaced them with hardcore neocon supporters and servants. then, this spreading cancer was to move to fill as many seats and offices as possible, with the same.

The departments that they were to use to push the heart of their agenda through, those where obviously critical and the most potent and energetically directed of their group where the ones appointed to head those given critical offices. As a guess, FDA, FTC, CIA, FBI, Justice, FEMA, etc.

The end result: in the same way that the neocon effort in congress and the senate is to block anything and everything that anyone is not their proposals and agendas..no matter the correctness of the given bill or whatever...this too was and is enacted, wholesale...in the federal departments.

It was not just simply about controlling the agenda and directive for the 4 or 8 years of the given presidency..but it was about destroying the capacity of the given department to ever be out of their clutches, period.

All drug testing and all correct reports on big pharma, and so on, regarding the FDA, are basically shut down, and the head of the department, a necon, destroyed the department's capacity (at any price, this was done, this takeover) to block this hardcore fascist take over of that department--via this infiltration and control of layers that the whitehouse does not have the rights to change, when a new president is appointed.

Same for the FTC, regarding consolidation of companies and ownership and collusion issues, everything that the FTC is appointed for, it entire mandate, shunted to the side and given lip service to.

And now that the penetration and takeover of those departments is into the lower levels, below the appointed offices (appointed by the whitehouse)..it is now such a situation that no president can clear the federal department offices of Fascist secret society intrusion into ---and control of those offices and their appointed tasks.

one must recall that the bush situation is one of the backdrop of the CIA and all it's connections.

Thus...this takeover was done via such methods and people..it was a professionally done act, done with and by zealots and fanatics, in the professional and capable, experienced sense. A direct and purposeful act.

THIS, is the core reason that the whole thing of 'creeping fascism' in the USA took a huge leap forward in speed of takeover and agenda, starting in the year 2000.

Thought you folks might want to be aware of this issue, regarding it's origins. To know where some of it is coming from.

While you where sleeping, this is the kind of war that was waged for the control of the USA.


What exactly the current Whitehouse's involvement and connection to said situation is, I've no idea. But I certainly would not give him, or his group's connections ----any form of a pass.

I suspect it started before then, at least under Clinton in the Department of Justice, though I've no doubt it continued with the increased vengeance that you describe in many more departments.
