Today, I noticed a very large percentage of the people I came in contact with were "awake" energetically. Switched on. Alive. Intense. I don't remember seeing any blank stares or self-absorbed introspection today at all. People were looking... out... and connecting.

I even caught it several times when driving my car, and went past pedestrians.

This was unusual.

Something's up.

I thought it would make a lovely birthday tune for this thread's upcoming birthday party on September 14th.

Ahhh...it's good to be home. Been slaying dragons irl and prefer not to bring that 'warrior' energy and attitude into the Village.

Latest victory...One morning shortly after receiving notice we were to be out of our home in 37 days, I was outside meditating when I had an urge to claim this home as mine. Feeling rather silly, but knowing no one else was awake at this time in the morning, I firmly spoke the words "I claim this house as mine!" And then slid back into silence. Well, we just got notice from the mortgage servicer that they were giving us a three month trial payment period after which our loan would be modified! Got in touch with the counselor who has been helping us fight this thing...she was surprised at their action since they had already turned down a modification and recommended we take the offer!

Healing energy and intent for the highest good for all sent to Noah.

I got back from Wales last night from a quick visit with an overnight stay. I found myself quite captivated by the Welsh accents I was hearing - I have lived in Wales on two occasions before in my life and never noticed how beautiful the accent was. A case of not seeing the wood for the trees !


I'm very tired from the travelling. It's sunny here today but quite cool - the temperatures really dropped last night.

Thank you all for your well-wishes, clarity and preciseness. I don't know what the highest outcome could be here, but I will keep you updated on what happens. This is Alysha on the left, Noah in my lap and Zora on the right, they're all 3 years older now and bigger but this was when we were all together before they left Texas to move to Indiana and I came up to Canada.



Ulli, I had a thought about your movie and song star synchronicity last night as I was falling asleep. Synchronicities are about the moment. In that moment, you were with some acquaintances in a theater in a relatively new place. In that movie you saw people you knew intimately. The scene was about karaoke, people singing or miming the songs of others, in essence, performing. Perhaps the synchronicity was to bring an awareness to you in that particular moment how the screen was more real than the life you were living at that particular moment, reinforcing the illusory nature of life and the reality that we are all actors on a stage at times, and, sometimes, the things that aren't real, are, and the things that are real, aren't. A moment, an instance of clarity to remind you of the greater, larger stage in relation to the one you were then performing upon.

Good Day You Beautiful Village People! I am so happy to be home today doing what i do best....being the domestic Goddess! Sounds crazy but cleaning house, doing laundry, making a chocolate zucchini cake, while listening to good music thrills me! I have the perfect excuse, my son is coming up for the weekend, and this brings such joy to me. You'd think that being self employed I would make time for myself to do these things, but sadly I don't.

To Belle, Way to go with the positive affirmations! My son in law is in banking and mortgages and he says they have so many people who just stay in their homes without paying anything...and they let them because they just don't want them, they're not selling and they don't want the headaches....so perhaps the people will end up with the power after all.

Ulli, I loved the photo of the elephant and had the sweetest picture of a kitten( without a bow) looking into a horses eye that I wanted to add , I tried to post it and I can't. I don't get it. copy and paste just doesn't work? I am so challenged by this stuff.

and for the record, I am taking this challenge of working with my throat chakra by opening up here and speaking my truth. I am grateful to have found this lovely place to express myself.

We had some errands to run today, and so we got an early start, to avoid the smoke from the ongoing fires that usually descends about mid-day and hangs like a poisonous shroud over the town well into the evening. Our first stop was the bank, and as I stood in line, I listened while the tellers asked each customer what their holiday weekend plans were. I replied to my teller that I was planning to enjoy this week-end as if it were my last. She thought that was a good idea, or at least she told me so. When our eyes met, we smiled, as if in a shared secret recognition of the great game of "Let's Pretend" we were playing in this life.

Later we went shopping at the local supermarket today, and as I was being checked out, a cheerful young lady bagging the groceries spoke up and asked if we had watched Mitt Romney on TV last night. She was glowing with the fervor of subliminally-programmed mass hypnosis, and filled with hope and admiration for the puppet. I responded that I had seen a few conventions in my time, and heard a lot of promises, and suggested that politicians are essentially lying when they move their lips. She seemed crestfallen, as if I had just told her Santa Claus was not a real person. I felt a twinge of remorse, and tried to praise her enthusiasm, but it was too late, the seeds of doubt had been sown.

As we were leaving, an attractive young lady was snagged by the store assistant mangager in the parking lot. It seems she had tried to rip off the self-checkout machines. With my background running supermarkets, and knowing the amount of thieving perpetrated by humans in such environments, I've often wondered why companies bother installing these machines.

Back in the day, my father belonged to a men's fellowship club called "The Optimists". It's sort of like the Elks Lodge I suppose, and I always pictured a bunch of guys sitting around being optimistic about things (and perhaps even coming up with ideas like self-checkout lanes in supermarkets). It was a comforting thought, that there were such associations around, where folks felt hopeful and positive about the nature of phenomenal existence, even if it did not have any inherent substance or concrete and enduring reality.
