so now, again, my most fundamental/basic question:
what's really real now, and what's not?..... and how to differentiate, for god's sake?
(or maybe like someone said quite well above: maybe I should just start turning-off this forum, and just "plant the back garden", or basically: do the usual 'materialist/3D-worldly' business-as-usual everyday tasks/things/jobs again....rather than dwelling in this endless madness...)
Hi, Niki. Welcome to the Village.

You asked the big question...what is real and what is not.

It is something I've been sorting through myself since it is becoming more apparent to me that we are actually living in a virtual world...a matrix of sorts...faked creations of real things. So I started a list of what is fake and what is real in my area of the world...

    Fake/Virtual

    - War on Terror...a war on an emotion that creates what it claims we are fighting *head spinning*
terror plots - fake - created by three letter agencies to manipulate the masses
wars - faked - theater for the masses while the true purpose is hidden
airport security - fake response to faked threats that has yet to catch a 'terrorist'

    - economic recovery of America...fake. unemployment at record highs while many are underemployed...at least 1/2 the population on some form of federal aid and in need of foodbanks, etc.

    - food is faked...artificial colors, flavors with the real nutrients processed out and in the case of GMO's pesticides added.

    - Obamacare, aka 'affordable care act'...insurance costs have actually increased since that law was passed.

    - CDC fakes disease and creates threats to health

    - Vaccines are faked science by the drug companies...harmful to humans

    - Big Pharma creates fake medicines that cure nothing...taking the active ingredients from real medicinal plants and creating chemical versions with life-threatening side effects.

    - Money...fake. Fiat money is nothing but paper and files on a computer, having no value in and of itself. Stock market and the value of gold and silver...manipulated.

    - Goverment power...fake. The government only has power because the people believe it does...thus the use of manipulation tools such as fake news and fake history

    - What is on your computer doesn't exist...your email, saved files and documents don't exist...one EMP burst can wipe out all electronic devices and most data storage.

    Real

    - family, including pets

    - physical books

    - gardening, permaculture, seeds

    - honeybees, insects, pollinators

    - sea salt, minerals

    - the sun...warmth, light and energy for life

    - rain, liquid water

    - love, compassion, forgiveness, gratitude

    - consciousness, free will, awareness

These lists an nowhere near complete, yet it lays the differences out in a way easier for me to see and understand.

I'm trading in my virtual fiat money for real things (such as gardening tools and books), seeking optimal health through nutrition and exercise and medicinal herbs, creating a community of like-minded people, looking within for answers, taking responsibility for my own life and teaching my family to do the same, focusing on growing spiritually, and learning to live in the real.

I pay attention to the fake only to see what game they are playing now, what false hopes are being built one after another, and then choosing to focus my energy and intent on the real...body and soul. When all the fake comes tumbling down, my family and I will be as prepared as possible in mind, body and spirit.

Couldn't those symptoms below be called mourning.

We are mourning the death of illusion (sometimes for a greater, bigger illusion, watch out).

Is the greater illusion thinking that joy and sorrow are separate?

Hi niki, ironic you would ask that in this of all threads...since in my opinion, there is only one thing that is real (and there's no guarantee it is real, but it is at least a reference point you kinda seem to need to be able to function in this plane of existence we seem to share):

    YOUR EXPERIENCES

That's it. You're in it--the one thing, always: HERE & NOW

And while it may not be REAL 100% of the time all of the time (what with programming/mind control, sick levels of self destraction & denial we are capable of, and I'm sure there's a few other examples of "not living in the moment"), we at least have to agree it kinda seems like it is real, or we are totally (more) lost.

So that's it...(**at least the illusion of) the experiences you are having now, made possible by (**at least the illusion of) free will. Everything else is just bullsh!t...I like how this guy says it

**See how I qualified that? You, too, can drop universal TRUTH bombs, thanks to the magic of semanitcs.

    Zoot, zoot

In my individualized experience, frustration is a springboard by which confusion gives way to clarity. It is to each of us how we use this catalyst.

Did I ever, in a million years, think I would say such a thing? Nope.

My personal key? Keep on swimming, keep on swimming, we are swimming, swimming, swimming (Finding Nemo reference) Take it a day at a time, sometimes a moment at a time. Tell myself It's Okay.

And, find silence. Let it all go...the frustration and the thought and the antithesis to the thought. In letting go, I have found acceptance.

    FWIW

    All my Love,

Oh, and I'm tickled pink to see you guys who I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet. Lovely to see you all!

Seriously--anyone down on life, listen to the song I posted. niki--it covers pretty much all of your concerns.

The link in the post above it is pretty good too if you wanna get deep in the existential--but Willy covers pretty much every material "REAL" concern, and I think he was around 18 when he wrote his album--which ALL is amazing, the boy has a grasp of life and emotional maturity equal to his amazing voice.

"...on and on and on it goes
the world it just keeps spinning,
til I'm dizzy, time to breathe
and close my eyes, and start again anew."

damn that song gets me...written by a kid, reminding me that our future is the kids...you have the responsibility to figure out reality--so you can show them...

I had to look up the plural for chrysalis, it is chrysalides. We have 51 chrysalides, 8 orange buttlerflies fluttering about, 6 caterpillars finding a place to hang their hats, and several have already hung their hats and begun to crystallize. There are three black and white butterflies hanging out, allowing their wings to dry.

The weather here is deliciously beautiful. It is 73 degrees F. The Texas sky, which is quite an expanse, is clear light blue and such an intense blue that somehow I can feel it. The air is clean and crisp and fills me with inspiration, penetrates every cell in this vessel. The horses have come to the fence to share the morning, and judging by the galloping hooves, I would say they are enjoying this to the fullest. The breeze is cool and light. The dogS lay lazily on the porch pondering naps, as it is always the perfect nap time for dogs. The pond is gurgling and bubbling, creating a zen-like atmosphere. Rather than taking away from the quiet, it rather adds peace to the silence. The shadows from the trees are long, as if they are feeling lazy in the sun. A car drives down the road in the distance.

Sharing this Peace with all who enter this Village of Energy,

Speaking of "new sig"...I replaced it because yesterday I had my last CIG.

Ran out, been meaning to end the nicotine slavery, and so just decided to go for it.

Can't sit still, my legs feel weird (circulation issues going), and every once in awhile a stabbing needle in my eyeball for some reason, other than that...nicotine withdrawal is FAN-tastic. EFF YOU PHILLIP MORRIS!!

heh...life is good! I been waiting until the "time was right", as in: stress-free. Then I realized, "reality" will never be stress-free, only I can be. So now is good a time as any, I guess. Ugh, I am a mess! but I love it.

Good luck with that, Donk. There's a thread around here somewhere with a lot of folks quitting together. Seems like it's in the ether. As an ex-smoker, I empathize with what you're going through. You can do it. I like the way you said that, you had your last cig. Matter-of-fact. No shuffling, no qualifications. You're DONE.

Yeah, well, maybe a little shuffling....I am soooo restless.

So I was checking out some of the things I was told about Willy--that he wrote what I consider one of the most profound albums of all time at 18 (seemingly true), was related to and toured with the Allmans (seemingly not true), and I found that he was discovered by my all-time favorite performer (Connor Oberst)!

So thought I'd share one more favorite, relevant to the "what is real" question:

"...the whole world's waking up............I'm happy just because: I found out I am really no one..."

The restlessness will go away in a bit. Don't remember exactly but they say the physical addiction takes a few days to get over, the mental a month or so. The habit of holding the cigarette, dragging, all that. I quit cold turkey twice, once for 4 years and this last time it's been 2 years and 4 months now, so I smoked for a total of 17 years I guess. That thread I was talking about in the last post has a lot of great stories and advice in it. I like Fred's last comment on it, LOL:

BTW, great songs you're posting today, Donk. I particularly like that last one and hope that if I'm ever torpedoing into the ocean like those folks I can get up and dance too.

Nice, thanks, that is hilarious Fred! Bill's comment is great in there too. I managed it at 19 in my college house of all places, and didn't touch 'em until I met a girl who did (UGH!).

Heh...isn't that kinda what this thread IS??

Glad you like them. Connor (especially his punk project Los Desparicidos, but even Bright Eyes and his solo stuff) is kinda hard to approach at first (at least he was for me), he is such an intense musician some of his stuff seems discordant at first taste....it took this haunting (kinda dark) melody to him a chance:

So then I found his less dark stuff, like this absolutely gorgeous one--god it gives me chills....so dreamy :

Ok, I'm done promoting my man-crush for the day.....carry on

    My Sept 11 tribute.

I will be doing a special meditation several times throughout the day in honour of lesson of 9/11.

Here's a brief summary of the main elements, if you also wish to partake, change it as needed for yourself and of course I'm only outlining the main points - not the whole meditation and breathing and all that.

I will visualize all the people in the USA and around the world feeling and releasing their pain, sorrow, anger, hatred, vengeance, and all other negative emotions related to the event on the anniversary of this day as a visible dark fluid ascending upward and spreading across the globe. I will envision myself as a massive being hovering over the Earth, breathing in this fearful fluid all in within myself, taking in every last negative emotion where I will allow it, observe it, love it, love it .. love it ... until it no longer represents the negativity that it was initially created as, until I feel it turning into the peace that is desired by all those affected by the events. I will feel the peace. When this peace is sustained within every fibre of my being, I will then breath that peace back out into them, as beautiful glowing white fluid-like energy that will lift their hearts and minds into a higher state.

I will stop several times today to do this, I recommend everyone try to do something similar, to help offset the specific energy on this day.
When you are one step ahead of the crowd, you are a genius.
Two steps ahead, and you are deemed a crackpot.

Right now (and coincidentally, right at 9/11 date today here in my country, Indonesia!), I simply just honestly don't know what's really "real", and what's not anymore! . . .there ARE people like me who have cling some HOPE(s) into these kind of "prophecy", or even "channeling", and "future of humanity" (is there seriously anything wrong with especially the latter??...) ,...only to eventually find out & got heavily frustrated, even depressed, and have a potential of crushing Identity & Existential Crisis (because of putting like 90% of my life (and/or FAITH) in all these supposedly GOOD things for our humanity's future!) , because like 90%, or perhaps should I say 95% of all the "prophecies/channeling" & 'forecast' talks here in this supposedly TRUTH-SEEKING forum, is all just merely/simply turn out into another "pure BS / beautiful fantasy/imaginations , wishful-thinking , escapism from harsh, mundane everyday REALITY" ,
just like what so many or 95% of our planet's humans populations, ie: the "pragmatist/realist/practical/materialist/skeptics & worldly (3D)" kind of people would exactly say, when they see these kind of OP , and especially on how 'pathetic' it's turned out in the end!!.....

Sorry for the 'raw' bluntness & venting deep frustration..
    Hiya Niki!

I recently addressed a similar matter with you in a previous thread you started here at Avalon, but I see you still have the same concerns, so I will share this:

Some folks really love their "existential crises", just like some are fond of their chronic illness, and the last thing they want (despite all protests to the contrary) is to see through and let go of them. Why? Because they are using them to confirm their existence. They enjoy parading them around and getting comments from others, which also is a strategy to confirm that they are real. That's the ego-mind's game -- confirming that it is real and enduring, even if it takes something like a dysfunctional condition to do so.

Of course, some would rather point to their family, their job, their Lexus SUV, their organic garden, their voting record, their pets, or their collection of interesting experiences, in order to prove that they indeed exist, but the problem is, all those things keep changing, and so how is one really going to pin down their own existence? Well, you can't. Period. Sorry, you never will. Why? Because nothing that you can perceive or conceive has any enduring reality.

So, what is real? Only Reality is real. It has nothing to do with names, forms, temporary states of mind, pretend conditions like frustration, anger, confusion, boredom, doubt, or discomfort. Since it is limitiless itself, it underlies all these superficial conditions. It is what is, exactly as it is. It transcends words and concepts like "existence" or "non-existence". When all the BS falls away, what remains is what's real. It is your own native awareness itself, the only thing that doesn't change. It is what you are, even while you might be busy imagining you are some person having an existential crisis. Awareness is not having any crisis. It just is. IS.

Moreover, you cannot acquire this awareness. Since you are awareness, there is no need to chase after it, trying to add it to the ego-mind's collection of self-confirming assets. All that you have to do is to stop investing your attention and belief in the unreal. The unreal includes everything that you can think, feel, know, or imagine. The more we grant reality to that which is not real, the more confused and unhappy we will be, and the more we will run around trying to alleviate ourselves of this imaginary disease. In fact, the only cure for the imaginary disease is to stop granting it reality. Stop pretending that the story of "me & mine" is what life is about, that you are an independent and alienated person in the midst of dangerous waters, and that there is some reason to be fearful and anxious about your own fictional creations.

    Blessings!

I love times of change. Travel can be so much fun. It's been a most synchronistic day ever.
The love support all around is much appreciated. The only sad part is the sound of my youngest grandson wailing when he saw my suitcases yesterday, and knew it meant a farewell. A lasting bond has been established.

Here and now... Listening to Reggae music in a Starbucks on Lincoln Ave, Miami Beach, Florida. Too hot to sit outside, even though there are umbrellas.
    So again, I'm between flights.
Spent an hour in the Apple store near here, trying to sort out a complex issue to do with my son's computer.
The young whizz who was dealing with me just got back from Costa Rica, and was there during the earthquake last week.
Yet he wants to live there...has applied for a job at the airport...has an aviation degree. He now has my card.
Apple were amazing, I must say. Great staff, high level of service and efficiency.

Also here in Miami there is now a fantastic new public transport system in place.... For $2.42 one can hop on a half hourly bus at the International airport of Miami and be right here at Miami Beach in just 25 minutes.
Didn't sell my car in Barbados, but then that may be for the best, as my in-laws kindly offered to keep it in their yard for me.
So when I go back I'll have transportation.
Love and miss you all. Will catch up with the thread when I finished unpacking and cuddled my cats.

For those of you that read parts of the Horus Ra thread, but don't keep track of every page, I would like to draw attention to this post from Finefeather.

I would like to offer some additional thoughts for consideration on this thread.
We have now spent over 100 pages on this thread and IMO we have become stuck in a groove where it would appear that all our woes are caused by some alien force we have called archons. This has given many a misconstrued, almost warm contented feeling, that we only need to eliminate the archons and we will be fine...as if we have all arrived on this earth all innocent and rosy for a picnic, and along came this bunch of thug archons and ruined our fun.
Emotion is a negative state of being, because it is born out of ignorance and wrong thinking, and the thing we all need to make clear in our minds is that we need to transcend this state and move into a state of wisdom, which can only be achieved by knowing the facts. Once we know truth we become true beings of light and darkness ceases to exist.

In summary of this thread it might be correct to state that we have identified a few phenomena which are our greatest concerns. I will use these for the sake of the post as they seem to cover most, if not all of the 'evils'. In writing this post I do not intend adding any links to the statements I will make, I write from inside and you can do the research yourself to verify what you are unsure of.
    1. Human Abductions, by humans or alleged aliens.
    2. Human Sacrifice, by humans or alleged aliens.
    3. Human Molestation, by humans or alleged aliens.
    4. Human Consumption, by humans or alleged aliens.
    5. Human Imprisonment, by humans or alleged aliens.
    6. Human Rape and other Sexual Molestation, by humans or alleged aliens.

Each and every one of these phenomena can be traced back to the animal kingdom and to this day they remain the strongest instincts of that kingdom. These are the qualities instilled inside the animal kingdom, at creation, to ensure their continued presence on the earth and also to ensure balance and harmony in nature.
When we stand back and contemplate the natural world we are struck down in awe at the beauty and spectacle of it all, as well as the sheer complexity of such a mind boggling creation. When we look a little deeper into the animal world, we find things which shock many today, we find that these creatures abduct and sacrifice and molest and consume and imprison and rape each other. We are taught that it is natural and that's just the way 'God' made it...and so be it.

Animals have no individual rational minds, they are herd/family orientated to support continuation of the species. There are slight variations (for good reasons) to this general statement, but this is by and large the norm.
Human beings on earth became rational when they achieved rationality and prior to that they were just as animal as the pooch in your back yard. So what does this mean? This was the moment when individualised spiritual beings incarnated into the human animal form. So you can understand that we have the same instincts as all animal have. Some of these are slowly been rationalised and we are meant to 'back off' with the pure savageness of these instincts and use our rational minds to manage our lives. This process is in various stages of been rewritten in our DNA. So the truth of the matter is that younger less enlightened beings who incarnate into human bodies still find it difficult to control these instincts. All through our history we have seen this instinct at work in the form of killings, wars, plundering, rapes, and sacrifices to name a few. Those who become increasingly enlightened, and enlightenment is a gradual process, are more able to control the savage instincts which are present in our animal bodies.
What people do not realise is that the body has it's own separate mind which is NOT part of the Spiritual Being who incarnated into it. This has been called the lower mind by some, it is this lower mind we are fighting to control in our daily lives and we have also called this the ego. This mind is situated in the solar plexus area and just by co-incidence? really? the solar plexus is the seat of the emotional/astral forces and chakra energies,...this should start to make you think about astral entities and alleged aliens. All animals, some more than others are expert astral travellers. How do I know this?...My cats told me.

Now before I finish I need to say that in NO WAY am I saying it is just fine to act like animals, because it is NOT...but we need to know where we get some of our worst qualities from. These are the instincts/qualities in our bodies which are being exploited by the dark forces to arrest the human-animal evolution and thus DNA growth which would allow easier control of the body in incarnation. Do not however be mislead by what I say, because this body is controllable and never forget that we, as spiritual beings, are having a physical experience and not the other way around. These forces called the archons, I prefer to call them the material forces, are like animals, they do not have the same minds as we have and we have stepped into their domain, or the physical and lower astral realms, and they are not happy about it, and to top it off, as seen in the Nag Hammadi, they are extremely jealous of us because we are immortal and they are not, but they do love the emotional energies we exude when they 'frighten us to death'.

We need to arrest those who are performing these horrendous atrocities and we need to heal them and educate them, not destroy them, they are our brothers and sisters. The biggest problem is when will we as the human collective be strong enough to place the right people at the heads of our governments. When will we learn that one of the biggest choices we make in life is when we choose who leads us. It is useless and folly to believe that these acts will cease until we have achieved this realisation and you may all know this, but the other 7 billion do not.

    Just think about it.
Thank you and Love to All
    Ray
