Here and Now...What's Happening?

Amanda, we can never know what choices we made pre-life with each other that results in these lives of pain and heartache with a bit of joy interspersed in-between. But whatever they are, they are for the highest purpose of each of us, no matter how it may seem from our limited vantage point. Beyond good and evil there only Is. All things Are and they occur because they Must. I know that may sound and seem simplistic but it's really just indicative of the fact that many events that occur in our lives are so inexplicable that we just have to let go and let our conception of God do what it must.

The miracles are constant and sublime here, Free Will. The village and the lives we co-create in compassion and love are beyond belief. May they begin to touch your life in equal measure.

Oh, for heaven's sake. I was just milling around fixing dinner, and got into a show on TV. I wasn't even paying attention, or so I thought. I ended up bawling like a baby, it was so beautiful. An elderly father and his son hand crafting Christmas presents for a children's hospital, and a small child seeing his mother (with the aid of technology) who was at sea on Christmas Eve.

I am having the weirdest day. I am having the worst time regulating things...my emotions for sure. But, this medicine sh!t, ugh. One minute I'm thinking, okay this isn't so bad. The next minute I'm thinking I may not make it till tomorrow. Hell. And there may soon be much more of me to love, ugh. Yesterday this annoying hunger started, and I can't decide half the time what to do about it. If I catch it at the exact moment I am hungry, I eat. This equals no tummy symptoms. If I am not eating, I'm having tummy symptoms. The problem here? I am physically full and hungry at the same time. I'm craving stuff I don't usually consume...I can hardly wait until this is over. I am glad I had the meds when I needed them to get from one day to the next. I doubt that had I known how difficult it would be to stop I would have passed up the opportunity to function, I needed them then. But, it sure makes me wonder what I was doing to my brain all that time if the absence of the chemicals cause brain zapping. Sheesh.

Anchor, I've been wanting to ask you about what you do when you feel the struggles of others. I can't quite seem to form a good question. Can you tell me more about the process, and how you learned to take in only enough but not too much? How you regulate that? And, when you do open up to the painful experiences of others, what do you do with that pain, or that emotion?

Bit overtired and overwhelmed right now. The last few days took their toll on my physique.
Finished unpacking...my two pieces of luggage are on top of the top shelf in the closet. Now the rest of the stuff has to be organized...I even brought that oversized shower head I bought in Barbados, and some red antique glasses Luis couldnt resist buying.
Today quite a few Costa Rican houses lost their roofs due to high winds...but here in our valley, protected by mountains, we hardly noticed them.
Soon will start on our next construction project. Luis isn't too happy about the high cost of laying the electricity cables underground, but once that expense is over we are going to be so glad not to have to look at unsightly poles and wires running through our property.
Of course the ideal would be off-grid power, like solar.

Vilage, I need help.

Dear Sister, I was feeling you yesterday, and I almost posted a note here asking if you and your husband were alright. Thank you for letting us know what's going on, and be assured Mazie & I are sending our fullest intent for the best outcome to this current situation, as well as the general condition you guys find yourself in. It is very hard to see any apparently stressful and threatening circumstances as gifts, although in retrospect we may be grateful for them, or at least understand what they were all about, and what they were designed to provoke in us, in regards to our long term evolution and soul development. Of course, that doesn't make the immediate acute hardship much easier to bear, particularly when there is little space to reflect, due to the intensity of the present circumstance. Consequently, please know that you are both held in loving arms, and that there is a terrific amount of light being broadcast your way, from those who cherish you here.

Just got back, last night, from visiting 9eagle9 for 49 hours. Great lady and mother. Wonderful hostess too. 12 hour one way drive. Boy, did my ass hurt.
So, Eaglespirit and 9eagle9 are two PA members (one is now a former member) I have met in person. Two I really resonate with. After eagles a (l)lama would be cool. My ass hurts thinking about that drive though.

Having been raised in a poor household with an abusing alcoholic stepfather who beat my Mother both physically an verbally on a regular basis, I can have compassion with what some of the Villagers are going through.

She stayed with him for 57 years. I can only attribute that to them having a contract when they came in to this world.

Life can be a real struggle at times. I can't say I have completely put that past me, we can forgive but it is hard to forget. Still visions of my Mom with black eyes and bruises all over her and Christmas trees being thrown out the door or Thanksgiving dinner thrown up against the wall, there are flash backs still.

I have tried to put it past me, and try to live in the now, (thank you Eckhart Tolle) and all of the teachings by enlighten and awake souls. It has taken me 61 years to get to this point. I think now that I am a better person because of what I went through.

Some times we just don't have a choice. If we did I am sure most of us would choose differently.

The Village is a place for such folks who are awake and enlighten to learn from. Acceptance, encouragement, love, kindness to be had by all. Yours for the asking! Thanks for sharing all that you do for everyone here Village !

Hi there. This is Flash`s daughter. I can see you`re very worried about your husband. That`s a good thing because it`s a sign that you love him very much. I just want to let you know that there is a difference between wanting to commit suicide and comitting suicide. Some people may hate their life and want to die but they`re too afraid of death to do it. Or maybe they still have dreams and hopes that keeps them alive. So keep in mind that your husband may think of death, but there might have a few things keeping him alive. You seem like a great person so i`m sure you`re one of the reasons he`s staying alive. Another little tidbit, when I was 58 I saw for the first time a picture of my father and found out I have 12 (that I know of) 1/2 brothers and sisters.

You just never know what you will find while searching on the internet!

My biological father left my Mother when she told him she was pregnant. I also found out that he was a Wizard in the Klu Klux Klan! I think I was better off not knowing him!

We have to handle what life throws at us, just throw it back if you do not want to keep it!!
