It just occurred to me, while watching this video with my daughter that this part has some resemblance with the ego and the true self.
The Ape representing the monkey mind and Mowgli the true self.
The ego is always trying to be someone that it is not (the true self) , tirelessness seeking to find the peace and happiness that is emanating from the true self.
I wonder if the artist of the story had that in mind.

Well, Meeradas, let me wipe those tears away. There, there...
Those German beer hall songs performed by fem Italians used to make me cry, too. I left the country in the end, because I couldnt stand drunken sentimentality. My German family never understood, not to this day.
The weird coincidence is that here is this guy, and is singing about Azzurro...or maybe Arturo, and Arturo used to be my husband's landlord 22 years ago in Barbados when we first met and during our first big romance days, and we just heard that he had died in a hospital in Miami last week. And that news became a tear jerker for us.

The Jesus song is so well made and structured and scripted it makes me want to cry, too, but then I catch myself, just in time, and say, no way! Do I really need a song like that to make me remember this kind of truth? The production is so
slick it makes me suspicious. But I showed the video to my husband who is a person who cries easily, just to test him, and at the end I discovered that his eyes were dry. Surprise! He only said, Very nice, very well made. So I asked him why it didn't make him cry
And his answer was : 'because I feel loved already, and I feel understood already'.

What's going on.

Your soul is being liberated. Embrace it for now. It will temper over time, not unlike the sensation that people report when they quit smoking. All senses super heightened for a short while. Its like the falling in love stage in a new relationship. You'll long to recapture it one day. It will be replaced with a deep knowing but never will it be raw again ( or so I have been told ).

So I took a walk today and it was business as usual while covering the terrain of the nearby neighborhood....I just about did a double take when I noticed in the black of darkness...could that be...no it couldn't...could it? .....Crocus blooming in someone's front lawn, huh? Did fall and winter pass me by during my walk, lol? Last time I checked Spring hadn't arrived....and then I thought, CRAP!! Did I miss zero point? LMAO

Just wanted to share..

You're in good company around here. Sometimes we don't even know what year it is.

Or which millennium. The other day, I caught my self writing the year "199something."

It's been 17 years that I've lived where I am. Even as I write this I pull out my calculator to check the math. It was yesterday that I moved. Years before, 20 + 17 to be precise, I'd drive past and it seemed way, way far away. It had a haunting feel to it. Strange language in my explanation. But now I know why.

Three months after my son's passing, I made the decision to start fresh. I went to check out an apartment and a dark grey cold feeling came over me when I pulled in. I cried. I made the assumption I wasn’t ready, yet feared that I’d be frozen in a time that no longer existed.

It took two more months before I witnessed “the me” pick up the local paper, open to a page and the only listing I saw out of 50 or so was a phone number to call. My fingers dialed the number and was invited to check it out. Just as Lori gave directions, this place popped into my head. No need for directions.

I stepped inside and knew it was mine. From newspaper to agreement, it took less than an hour. That weekend I moved. Through the night, I tip-toed around so as not to wake the neighbors, all boxes unpacked, books stacked, cupboards and closet filled and curtains hung.

This place has magic. Some day it won’t. It will happen as quick as it did when I moved in.

Sounds to me like your son and you are operating back to back. There is extra safety and security in that.
Since Mum has gone she has been quite helpful in all sorts of ways, finding stuff for us, and guiding us.
Who needs calendars when one is guided by the timeless?
