Ulli, mods, this is just a thought, so please don't jump all over me. Just an idea. In the past, when things get a little out of hand one way or another, a second thread is opened and some posts are moved.

Is that a possibility here?

I say no. Since we'll be back on track here in just a little bit, I say leave it a s a testament to the strength and endurance of the love of this community.

Yup. One of the things I've learned in the Village is to fight with my husband, get it out, don't wait. Terrifying, absolutely terrifying process. End result? Our squabbles last five minutes (if even that) instead of hours or days. My husband begged me in the past to tell him when I'm upset but I just couldn't hear him, couldn't believe him.

It took a little astrological interpretation of our charts to understand the issue, and step out in faith to practice being snappy. To see what would happen.

Right now my equilibrium is pretty shot, because people who would not look at the evidence came bursting in my door and threw rotten tomatoes at me.
And yes, NancyV, if you haven't noticed why the thread became so long, I will tell you why.
Up until now people on this thread have minded their manners and respected the non-written Village rules.
One of which was no overt display of arrogance and haughtiness.

I love you Nancy and thus I have to tell you, this just falls into the energy patterns that started this whole speedbump -- which namely is people having a propensity toward having their feelings hurt and responding to those feelings. Think about it -- it's the single disruptive energy that was here for all this, but it has a tendency to grow into other energies really fast.

I'm pretty sure no one really intended to hurt anyone here on this thread anywhere.

I just finished watching the video on the thread "****s going to hit the fan soon and here's proof!" -- I usually avoid videos with titles like that but this one sums everything up pretty quickly, and it still paints a bit of a doom and gloom, but does not hype it or glorify it. Better than I was expecting anyway.

Only open consultation can dispel the disunity.
All sides have the same rights, including thread owners and mods, and forum owners.
And to overreact to a thread owners mis-chosen words is still an over-reaction based on
a prejudice against those who have some privileges.

I find myself compelled to be extremely honest with those I respect - most find themselves to be more pandering, but I see that as disservice and why provide a disservice to your friends?

• I never said you were a stranger to the forum, nor a stranger to me, merely to this thread. That is a deceptive statement to make. A self serving statement.
• Nor did I mention count or quantity as a prerequisite qualifier to posting.

If I understood well, I just, for the first time, truly start getting a glimpse at the thread's experience or what we may call Ulli's experience. I had felt it before, knew it was something special, but my mind was not up there yet.

You are saying that we can, here, hold or own ourselves completely, entirely. The experience is one of owning oneself. No need for generalisation, no need for talking for others, no need for religious thinking or teachng, if I am owning myself completely. Generalisations, religious ideas or talking for others is only used to emphasize my owning of myself.

The problem with generalisation, religious teachings, talking for others is that they are the premises for dualism and lost of oneself.

You want here to offer an environment that is protected/protective for owning oneself completely. This is the law of Ulli's land (metaphorically speaking). Getting in the depth of oneself, sharing the ownership joy and sadness, owning oneself completely.

No need to give lessons, just comments from oneself. No need to judge, owning oneself. Duality has disappeared, nothing to replace it (forget the dualistic thinking of " all one versus present dualities").

Am I right? Is it what it is about?

If so, I have never seen such a proposition anywhere much less on any forum. It litterally makes my tears come up and my heart ring a charade stabilising at another level. (sorry Carmody for a glimpse of my beliefs appearing again, I work with who I presently am )

This is what I felt so special about the thread and the group of people on it, this "all in it being themselves, owning oneself" whichever oneself we are.

Last Friday night, I was in one of those moods (the killer one) and my daughter came home in the same mood. By dinner time, it was obvious that fight would start. Feeling this, I wondered at fast speed what I wanted. I wanted the fume to get out without harm. I asked her how she felt, she said bitchy. Then I said, ok, lets have a bitching contest. Which can bitch the best and the loudest.

We start with her school, me with my work. So we started, being very upsetting and really at one point, clearly exagerating, both of us. Then we took her father, then me, then her, then her boyfriend, it was so obvioulsy exagerated that we started to laugh and making jokes, yet the fume was out. No damages. Warning: this technic only works with hot latin blood people

Maybe you should ask some of the other Villagers that question. Open a thread and start asking.
You will get answers.
Not all agree with me and when they really get on my case I tell then to open their own thread.
This world can never work by invading others territories, or disturb their peace and comfort zones.
There has to be respect.
