I read in some other posts that perhaps one or more posters have been asked to not post in this thread? If that is the case, could it not be possible to directly invite them back, apologize directly for any reaction that may have been taken personally and and that we hopefully can learn better where this actual line, rule, guideline is drawn?

Seems that would be taking the highest road possible.

Excellent response - I just wrote the following when I came upon this post -

I have PMd with Ulli many times - the first was when she asked if she could examine my astrology chart (rare that someone even asks... and demonstrates integrity) - I told her go as deep as she wants and gave her my time of day as well. We have then PMd several times as we both live (at times) in Costa Rica. I just noticed I had not sent her a friendship request (because we created one without defining it) BUT because I noticed this, I just sent the request. This ensures I also behave as a friend... sometimes clowns like me need some self imposed - EDIT from (limitations) to - guidelines as to ask to be friends requires one to be a friend.

It is true I was in a way manipulating and I apologize I made the suggestion - should have done so via a PM or perhaps not done so at all. Love Chester

French is not the language of diplomacy for nothing. It is naturally so much more precise. A contract will read almost as normal French. Most English speakers trying for the same precision will either murder the language or end up facing litigation

The proof being that : my answer was more diplomatic than yours araucaria. ROLF two diplomats, but one in France itself with its pride vs the quebecer humility.

No pride Flash: I am in no way remotely responsible for the state of either language But I have been grappling for many years at close quarters with the above point. English has a genius all of its own. You will find nothing in French quite like this (just something to hand):

Preachy is in the eye of the beholder, methinks. A better rule might be against combative behavior, unless some prior understanding has been reached, that it's all in good fun. Of course, if someone were to indicate that my own advice was preachy, someone being the one whom it's directed at, then surely I ought to relent. I'm voting no one should replace ulli so long as she keeps the thread open and her PA account active, but that all of us should work to keep the peace, and the pressure off of her. I'm talking about myself here, too. Ulli, I'm sorry for all the stress you may be feeling in the midst of all this.

I think it's not quite so much about rules on this thread as about staying on topic. Amazingly for some, it IS possible to go off topic here even though we talk about whatever we like.

I'm just back from a game of tennis (about as rusty as the clay court ). We play to the rules, of course, but as we are not playing for points in the ATP rankings, we don't dispute every close linecall; if in any doubt we'd rather concede the point. This is how we interpret the rules amongst ourselves, and it would be 'off topic' for some new guy making up numbers to deviate significantly from that. There may be a slight disagreement with a call, but nothing winning the next point won't put right . You just relax, enjoy each other's company and help each other to make a decent game of it.

I think it's not quite so much about rules on this thread as about staying on topic. Amazingly for some, it IS possible to go off topic here even though we talk about whatever we like.

Staying on topic. Panic.... Noooooo!. A rule I cannot not live with....this body-mind does goofy, unpredictable things. That's my strength and my weakness. Nooooooo! Get me oudda here.

It's the diversity of shared opinions, feelings, methodologies, soaps, scythe, cats, power animals, funny photos, laughter, sadness, cheer, silliness that keep me coming back. I'm ADD.

Like I said, I live in a PO box. It's nice living vicariously through other lives. (as pathetic as that sounds) That'll change soon enough. But in the meantime, I like all the goings on the Village. These last 7 months are the first time that I've given myself permission to just 'Be'. Not so much study, doing things right and perfect, just learning that others have the same goofy stuff that I do is refreshing.

Most of my post are responses to stuff directed at me. When I ignore such posts, or PMs, which has been known to happen, my Taurus moon gets antsy and starts flicking that tail. That bull wants to play nice at all cost, so as to avoid a bull ring experience.

It was a pretend freak out. If I’m wounded, I usually hide under the covers. Go quiet. Process in private. Inch closer to find a better way for the next time I perceive illusionary or intentional slights. Not the most efficient way for a part-time Warrior, part-time Simpleton. I'm still calibrating and adjusting to new energies that are a-buzz within.

Feeling very exposed and vunerable, I take full responsibility for my last post and sincerely apologize for any ill feelings such a post may have caused the Village, and especially ulli.

I cannot place blame on the energies...having learned to ground and redirect such energies for good purpose (thank you, Rocky, for the advice you gave me on another thread...it really does work). It is my lack of self-management and control that allowed me to prepare a post when I knew it would be better to step away from the computer...and submit the post instead of deleting it as a part of me so desperately wanted. Such is the struggle of one with Sun in Leo, Moon in Aquarius, Ascendent Scorpio with Mars in the ninth house....not an excuse, just revealing the two minds at odds in the one body and my failure to choose better.

I, too, have a very strong reaction to injustice and underdogs. It's been a life-long struggle deal with situations in which I perceive a perpetuator ending up being treated as a victim while the victims are expected to be strong enough to just forgive and forget. And yes, this is my own projection, having been in the position of being the stronger person myself so very many times as the perpetuator was protected and cared for and no one stood up for me.

Just once I would like to see justice for the real victims...Let me rephrase that...just once I would have appreciated the person who misunderstood and/or attacked me take responsibility for their actions with an admission of their part in creating the drama, bringing it all out in the open (lancing the wound, so to speak) that healing for all can occur. How many times I wished I could say, "I forgive your part, please forgive my part in this" that we both could come out of it stronger and more loving, with a deeper understanding of ourselves and others.

My own woundedness took precedence over my better judgment...I'm so sorry.

I would like to remain as part of the Village if you could find it in your hearts to forgive me. I can't promise that there will be no more outbursts...as WCBD says, we are all a work in process...and I have a lot more work to do. I sure can use all the help I can get.

I nearly missed this post, Belle. Apology accepted. The post you responded to was flawed, I admit. It was wide open to being misinterpreted. And I was really tired by the time I wrote it. I should have just said there is a time for everything, a time for unity, and a time for being specific. On 3D earth there is no way around avoiding either one of those two, the trick is knowing when to apply.
Not preaching here, but too much self control can be what stops Scorpios from embracing the inner "bitch" ...that was your expression, not mine. In my youth when I was a fashion designer in London bitch was my middle name. Running a business...
All I can say if you want to know what I used to be like look at Meryl Streep in the Devil Wears Prada, and you get the idea. Then came years of trying to bring that inner bitch under control and I found out that didn't work. I had to unite with her in an embrace, or she kept popping back up. All control leads to is a slave rebellion. Integration is the only way to go.
Inner integration first, then the rest follows organically. So easy, really.
Scorpios have a harder time as heir hidden self is very deep. Which can be a good thing in a crisis situation where a group needs a leader who stays calm. But it is a bad thing if a person is in denial that such a hidden part even exists.
