Asking the weather wizzes to do something here. I'm not in Barbados but my loved ones are there, and I'm a bit concerned.

Now this is where astrology can come in handy:

i'll use a pic from Meeradas (thanks! hope you don't mind the plagiarism!) to describe what I think of my liberal arts degree. I was young and dumb and thought that literature was my path (Note to self in hindsight: anyone can read and analyze, you fool!! You can't make a living from it!). If I had to do it all over again, I would study some rare crustacean that existed only in the French Comoros, marine biology, or what have you. Anything but liberal arts......

Weather request fulfilled. Dissipation, dissolution, and de-strengthening. Alles gut. For good measure, it's going in the reiki basket, too!

    Greetings to all ,

Here,I'm now living in the 3rd branch of the communist community — The Second Home in China.

Compared with the outside world ,life here is more peaceful & simple. The flowers are red and fragrant, the grasses are still green. All the people living here are kind and diligent. We have no blood relationship with each other ,but we treat each as sisters and brothers. From their happy smile ,I can tell how beautiful their hearts are. I can feel God's and Lord Jesus's love all the time.

Look what happens today on our earth, it is full of depresstion, frustration, conflicts and desperation....... And that is why there are so many natural disasters happening everyday, it is the language of Mother Earth. As many prophecies said, something big is going to happen soon during 2012-2013, and I quite believe this and preparing for it spiritually and materially .I thank God to let me find the amazing home ,which I called it as "2012 Noah's Ark ".I'm now just wanting to spread Lifechanyuan's values & 2012 Noah's Ark to all kind people as widely as I can before the big change happens .

Thank God .Blessings to all of you.

Actually, that's what being forty is all about.
It is called the midlife crisis.
Uranus' orbit is just over 80 years, and at age 20 or thereabouts when the first quarter is completed he kicks us out of the parental home...by making us rebellious and independent.
and then when we reach forty he is halfway around the block, and opposes the place he occupied when we were born, and at that moment those who are already independent will orchestrate a change by their own will, Uranus rules both change and self-will.
Meanwhile those who are in a job which they hate will now discover to their dismay that the boss has just brought in a 20-year-old college whizkid who knows the latest gadgets in computing and who is bent on replacing the 40-year-old who is caring for a family and struggling to pay his debts.

This is the deeper reality behind that cartoon.
The young ones can find their true selves if they can avoid getting distracted by the college mating games.

It's happening again...the island is still clear, and even though a cloud is approaching, the densest part has moved way down south and will not affect any landmass. Great job!

In fact there are a lot more jobs for those who are willing to lie and imitate others than for original thinkers.
Having a job means being a dependent...even if you are near the top of a corporation.
Only as a consultant are you free, when you can say 'take it, or leave it!'

This is so true. Those who know astrology, know that this accuracy in timing really does play out that perfectly.

Thus, My report that the REAL end of WWII, was in Flensburg, Germany, at 8:15am, May 5th, 1945..can be found to be the truth of it.

This is supportable...because, 55 years, 5 months, and 5 days later, the grand (cardinal) cross was perfected in the skies, in the year 2000. It was exact, within the hour.
Carmody, could you please confirm that there is nothing to be read into all those fives: 55/5/5 after 5/5/45?
Sorry. I can't conform that. I thought there was something odd about my life, when I started digging into it. One task, was to investigate astrology..and the things found, where interesting. Part of it, was found to be this, as an opening and/or precondition, or groundwork.

    I DO know this:

That the interim government for Germany, at the fall of the Nazi party...the remaining group had gathered to the mandated fallback position, which was Flensburg.

And they had decided to formally surrender, at that time, regarding completing the task earlier. But the formal announcement, and surrender/ending time...was scheduled for that exact moment, of 8:15am.

At this ordained time of 8:15 am, May 5th, 1945, the announcement and condition was made and 'advertized to the population, by the bells of all the churches being rung, at this pre-ordained and set time.

As the first bell strikes began to ring throughout Flensburg...at that exact moment, my mother was born. If there was ever an original 'war baby', she'd be it.

Sadly, I can’t tell you guys what’s in the other two books until I get Ulli’s miracle astrological jab, which I bet involves triangulation of some sort
I had to use to search engine to find the post...
You might not like what I'm going to say now...you sure you want to hear this?
    Ok, you did ask:

When your books are making you sick, it's high time to burn them....all 6000 of them.
    Go digital, get a reader.
Book in Italian and Spanish is libro, in French livre, in Esperanto libro...all sound remarkably like Libra.

I noticed years ago how all the educated Librans I knew had without exception became avid book collectors.
    Members of book clubs. Librarians.
And all of them were overwhelmed by the sheer size of their library, and burdened by the thought of what to do with all those books one day.
Many times their relatives are not even interested in inheriting such libraries.
So this creates a real dilemma...and yes, guilt feelings can come from the future, just as they are provided by a Libran's past...
    as all Librans are perfectionists.
So having all these books really can add to Libra's discomfort,
which after a while begins to outweigh the pleasure they once provided.

So now you mention that books older than 10 years are making you sick because you have become allergic to them...
Isn't that a sign that the time has come to make a major decision here...and switch to a digital library?
I know it's not the same but what about your health?
We cannot allow our planets to rule our lives, we must use the knowledge so that we can rise above those tricksters.

    I hear book burnings are liberating....remember Fahrenheit451.

ulli, gently putting down her frying pan....
I hear you, dear Ulli. All these thoughts have passed through my mind, except perhaps for the astrological thing. But put that rolling pin away as well and let me share with you the thoughts that follow on from here. In general terms, I would say I have a rather different reading of Ray Bradbury

First the astrology. A) it is not just a Libran matter, and B) Libra to me means more than that (not being perfectionist btw, I’d be a very strange (oxymoronic) form of perfectionist ).

    A) My daughter, who has the same problem, is not a Libran, she’s a historian. She has to trawl through archives and read ancient publications in such short supply and with such a limited readership that digitization will always be totally out of the question. In French a librairie is a book shop. A library is a bibliothèque, from biblos simply meaning book, and a bibliophile is not a fetishist but a book lover, someone with a reverence for the written word, and not just bibles.

    B) Libra in French is balance (scales), so I suppose an accountant is another form of bookkeeper (balancing the books). Also we are talking about the scales of justice, in other words accountability. History is about calling people to account, reputations suffer or are enhanced. To that extent, one might say that an auto-da-fe in accounting terms is a radical way of “cooking the books”, and in legal terms amounts to destroying the evidence.

The books lying quietly on my shelves are inactive, and doing me no harm. It is not until I get them down to work with them that I feel ill. In any case, the ones I have been talking about are not from my library at all, they only just arrived in the post! Why do I feel ill? Because until about ten years ago, there was no acid-free paper. Acid “burns” books at Fahrenheit 45 period! This is what attracts micro-organisms. So burning is not the solution, it is the cause of the problem in the first place. Just as digital versions of acid-free hard copy are simply unnecessary.

My library is not dead and disposable. It is not even just ballast (although ballast is important as well), it is a storehouse or back office without which my front office would be pretty useless. I come back to Bradbury to explain what I mean by this. Fortunately I wrote about burning books a few years ago, so I don’t need to make myself sick by digging out an old copy.

There are two kinds of book burners in the no vel. First, the officials from the fire brigade, the idea being to replace subversive literature with a living-room endlessly playing a “family” soap in 3D. The others are the rebels, who only burn books because they are doomed in that form, and only after they have committed them to memory. The book becomes a person. Montag is introduced to a man called “Plato’s Republic” etc. The choice is then between the virtual “family” and a real family of human books – between ghosts or clones or robots and humanity (a word I emphasized in a previous post). I am not Plato’s Republic, I am an entire, constantly growing library that refuses destruction – not memorizing verbatim of course, but writing my own book from it all. This is how books come to be written and it is what makes them a living entity and even gives them personhood. That is how I blow the whistle on the destroyers, who prefer to give personhood to corporations. Does it damage my health? Well of course it does – the whole place is on fire after all

Interesting sidenote: Dolores Cannon attaches great importance to her recollection of having been a librarian at Alexandria at the time of the fire. She has even met the scholar she used to feed with documents (see The Convoluted Universe IV)…

I knew you would come up with a brilliant reply which I would then end up committing to a special file.
Truth is I identified with and felt for you, being a bookworm myself. The Bradbury book and movie which I saw as a teen and which were a favorite all my life. But as I was forced by life to make drastic changes (45 moves) there were times when books had to be sacrificed and I'm still now reeling from the pain.
But I also moved forward in my consciousness and so as I was processing and compressing my thoughts many of the older books were tossed like old schoolbooks. Equally hard for me was the tossing of a huge collection of fashion magazines, some historic, especially after I found out what damage a tropical climate was doing to those.
Last comment, there really is more to Librans than just book collecting. Even than being the ultimate culture bearers. But that depends on the individual in question...their genes, their environment, and finally their soul mission.

Yes. I can chuck books out, the trouble is they tend to prove useful at unexpected moments long afterwards. There is no easy first in first out type rule that could apply.

I asked you in jest to put away the rolling pin because my post could have been construed as registering a failure of your astrology, and yours as saying I need not bother with my next post based on books I ought to be throwing out
I still want to read them, but I might scan them first if I can find time. There's no getting away from this damn computer...

It just goes to show how easy it can be for people to fall out quarrelling over things they actually agree about.

I did a post just now adding my 2 cents to a conversation between
Modiz and Justoneman on the "what we may be here to do" thread.
Which reminded me of this paragraph in one of the Wingmakers interviews.

Dr. Neruda: “There’s a persistent memory in the psyche of humans –
particularly the weaker cultures that have been trampled on by nations bent on colonization.
These grievous indignations to the weaker nations of the world have left a deep mark on their collective memory.
It’s vital that this memory be erased or purged in order for humankind to become unified in its governance and fundamental systems.

“This event can be orchestrated or it may occur through natural means,
but it’s generally agreed that an event must arise that galvanizes the world’s people to unite,
and in this process, purge the memory of all peoples,
but especially those who have been dealt with as victims of colonization.”

So if we as individuals can get to a better mental and spiritual state by purging our resentments of past issues
it does make sense that on the collective level this has to happen as well,
or else wars will never cease.
What perfect timing I discover this post... a good 45 minutes after I have awakened and 2.5 cups of strong, Costa Rican coffee into my day. The synapses firing at their fastest and most clearing pace. Clearing away space for a thought. A thought hit me directly in the "heart" of my ego... well, the part of my ego that thinks it possesses a heart at least.

Thanks You for this post. You can imagine, Ulli, how I am dealing with these "issues" in a real world sense in my current office (school - in fact, Romper Room) situation. Just when I thought I had escaped the matix, I discovered how the matrix had meticulously plotted my current entrapment for what now? 55 Years? And 4,370,396 other "soul experiences" some of which might have been lifetimes? Anyways, I also have to add that now that I have achieved all but full and realized quantum being state and escaped my astrology as well (or at least I think I have) why am I getting that creepy feeling I may, once again be fooling myself? Hummmmmm. People often ask me what I do for a living. I am just about ready to accept the truth. I am a professional masochist.

Anyways, I now allow my ego to contract and WoW! What a nice day I see out there. A soft, cool breeze... another day in par a dice as I call it... implying each and every day is a crap shoot (one within which I can't help myself from rolling the dice!).

Anyways - just a morning ramble but stimulated by the great post I quoted above.

What can I do today to allow those who had been trampled on by many of my own genetic ancestors their opportunity to transcend their genetic, collective wound? Be my genuine, loving self and throw in some true, heartfelt patience is what the inner voice says. Love to All, Chester

Interesting that you should mention points of agreement. (you also mentioned falling out)
See, I have shown here which of the various themes in your post I'm engaging in.
Basically any post is loaded and each fragment of a post can then be responded to in three ways, ignored, contradicted or accepted and taken further.
Since we are in a public place here this is not even about whether our relationship can continue, or a falling out might occur, but about the ideas themselves. What I'm getting from our exchanges is mostly an awareness of how while conversing with someone who is open-minded anything can be said. Just don't point me in the direction of Tibetan lamas. A friend who organizes their venues was recently raped by one, and she is not the only one.
