Undercover footage from this factory farm – which raises over 10,000 calves for use on dairy farms – documented workers bludgeoning calves with pickaxes and hammers, burning out their horns without painkillers, standing on their necks, pulling them by their ears, and leaving them to suffer without veterinary care.

Whats really in a McDonald's Egg McMuffin? An MFA undercover investigator exposed appalling cruelty at the fast-food giant's major egg supplier. Hidden-camera footage shot at Sparboe Farms – the fifth-largest egg producer in the country and a significant egg supplier to McDonald's, Target, Sam's Club, Supervalu, and Hy-Vee – revealed hens crammed into filthy battery cages and dead hens left to rot alongside birds still laying eggs for human consumption. The investigator also documented workers burning off the beaks of chicks without painkillers, sadistically and maliciously torturing animals, and throwing live birds into plastic bags and leaving them to suffocate.


There are way to many of these cases! We need to demand the human treament of these animals now.

Having seen animal abuse at it's worst I think leaving out the ugly stuff is doing no one any favors.
Why should people be protected from what they are letting go on.
The evidence on this video IMO falls short of the shock people need to face to bring about real change.

Indeed, We eat their stressed meat as well. Think about that for a moment!
Maybe Its Time to consider a vegetarian diet perhaps.
I quit eating animal distress 3 years ago. I have Never felt better in my life. : )
And chickens are no exception, they are treated worse than Cows.

I'm glad I became a vegetarian again several months ago. I feel lighter. There have been times when eating meat bothered me, but I didn't know why, but this definitely explains it.
BTW, anything approved by the Rockefeller-owned FDA, I DISAPPROVE wholeheartedly. Their word means nothing to me anymore. Get the Rockefellers out of the picture and things will improve....(Yes, I don't like these pr*cks!)

It is sad, that so many people have become desensitised (ie. it's not happening in my world, buddy) that they can't be bothered to care. These issues do matter, more than we realise.

We, as humans, are all partially responsible. Some of us more than others perhaps, but we are all in this together.

Don't be fooled into thinking there is no such thing as collective karma for all of us...vegetarians, omnivores, carnivores, vegans, whatever. There will be a collective reaction sooner or later. Sorry to say it. We had a window of opportunity to turn the ship away from the iceberg, but that window is now starting to close.

I find it hard to look at, but thanks for posting, Exomatrix. This kind of thing continues to occur because not enough people are aware of it.

Governments don't care much for animals, as long as big corporate business' like McDonalds keep going, they'll turn a blind eye, not wanting to regulate too much. I believe many countries throughout the world don't even have much in the way of law to protect animals sadly, so a nasty thought to imagine how it could be elsewhere.
People have got to eat sure, but it is no excuse to mistreat or keep animals in horrible conditions, its all about business and keeping costs low, we live in a world where compassion over business and money is near non-existent.

So no one cares that those aren't beef cattle? (the looped video doesn't show much, but it doesn't show beef cattle & who knows exactly what was going on; I didn't see anyone jabbing anything or anything cruel)

Sounds like a propaganda movie to me... Good job for falling for it everyone though, way to follow up with research & logic.

I've seen cattle hit with a tazer in order to get them to stand up, you cannot leave them on the ground, they will suffer muscle damage and/or die due to certain deficiencies ( see this PDF http://www.nda.agric.za/docs/Infopaks/cow.pdf )

I know this and I barely have ANY farm experience,, how many of you ever put your feet in the dirt of a farm, or are you just going to pass judgement from something the MAIN STREAM MEDIA put out?

Come on people, Critical thinking is a SKILL, use it or loose it...

This is a large animal vet who works a lot with cows, one of the BEST vet's I've ever seen (hell he even has his own show on Nat-Geo)

does any of that look cruel to you? watch 33:00, hear what he says about a downed cow, downed cows are one of the common calls for a large animal vet, when you see in the OP's video a person trying to help the cow to its feet this is what you are seeing, a HUMAN SAVING a MILK cow (NOT beef... they are NOT used for beef)
