The one big fact in our favor is that we are even more
effective without a body , so we are much more " managable "
(at least in the eyes of those that would wish us not here)
left on planet. Even though that " manageability" is limited
given how far we are now able to work and the glass ceilings,
If you like, of those with lower vibrations, and lesser intents.

But those theys are certainly watching very very closely right now

Just want to take a moment to make very clear ... that in my effort to "make mirth" I don't want to detract from or dismiss the calls of pain, sorrow or anquish that is offered not only here (and now) but everywhere.

I mean only to do the best I can to "lighten the load" and that is really quite a trivial task compared to some here (and now).

I expect we all suffer to one degree or another ... what matters is what we do with it and how we handle it.

I think it's a case of missing time, about a fortnight between waxing and waning moon, but we can see the join.

Decided to share a case of the giggles I got. It started last night, and on the way home from the store it returned. Actually, I'm not sure what route I took to get home today. I thought I took the same ole route, um, the only one I know, but apparently I only drove 10 miles from the store according to the car mileage, which is a 30 mile drive...maybe I flew part of the way?

Anyway, so we've been speaking of cannibus and stuff around the village lately. Of course, that is an ever popular topic with M, who, as I stated before, would like to legalize marijuana.

So, I'm sitting outside last night with my laptop enjoying the peace and quiet. M comes out and exclaims, "MOM!" I jumped as asked "What? What?"

She looks at my screen, and I happen to be searching herbs, not the herb, but I'm on a website called iHerb.com..."If you want me to look up some old friends," she says, "I can get it a lot cheaper for you and save the shipping."

Okay, that started the giggles. My giggles caught to her. I closed that window, and I heard again, "MOM!" I jumped, again, and said "What now?"

I look at my screen, and I am now staring at the cannibus chart from that link Dennis shared.

GUFFAW....so we both get to going, and now it looks like I'm obsessed with marijuana...hahahah...

So, I close that screen, and there is the skype window. "MOM!" "Oh, for pete's sake, what is it now?" She looks at me like I'm from another planet, "You have skype?" So, I say, "Well, duh, M, I do have friends you know. It's just that they aren't, um, local. You know, I talk about so-and-so in Denmark, and so-and-so in Australia, and even so-and-so in Costa Rica ( )..."

M says, "Why can't you have normal friends?"

Well, that's gets me to belly laughing, because we (Villagers) we just talking about being weird and normal... She starts guffawing also, not having a clue why I'm tearing up and about to wet my pants, and says, "What?" So, I told her that my friends and I all think that weird is the new normal.

She says, "No, Mom...NORMAL is normal."

    Buahahahahahahahaha

I sure hope someone else gets a kick out of this...It's really staying with me...

And guess what the debaters were discussing last night when I checked in on that live debate...Legalizing Marijuana....

    Buahahahahahahah

    Here and Now...

Sipping some hot orange spice tea with raw honey, yum. Hoping to soothe my throat. I took my last swig of robitussin today because I got pretty desperate. I was holding out, but couldn't make it any longer. Dang, I wish that alka thyme would hurry up and get here. I'm going to try inhaling it. My lungs and neck feel swollen and closed up. I've been a trooper this time, fighting this off for a week before I'm about to give in. Weird cough, must have inhaled too much of the smoke coming from the limbs...and too many allergens blowing on a windy day.

Trying to stay awake till bedtime. Much Love,

    Thanks for the grins, Ulli!

Thanks. Snickerdoodle is exactly what I meant. Snick, snick, snickadoodle. Mmm, mmm, good! Yum, yum, eat 'em up!

Somebody gave me a brownie they said was really good. It is getting stale inside of my tent. I end up taking things because I know it makes people feel good. In real life I am liked by many people. Electronic communication is such a poor medium for multiple parallel/simultaneous signals being sent. It is much easier to scold when the twinkle in your eye and smile on your face are there to offer the full, rich message being sent.

One, while you're waiting for your special thyme product to arrive, you might try looking on your spice rack for tea herbs ... if you have any thyme or oregano, or even Italian herb blend, you can use a teaspoon of it to brew a cup of tea (let the leaves fall to the bottom or use a strainer). If your herbs aren't real fresh, use two spoons. Add some raw honey if you wish, and I'd put in a spoon or two of that mother-cider vinegar.

Thyme essential oil has been shown to have remarkable germ killing ability. It was used as a wound dressing before modern pharma thought they'd found something better. Wish i could give you a whiff of my thyme - thymol, phenol.
Here's what http://www.aromaticplantproject.com/...alprofile.html says about it:
Thyme CT thymol (phenol) – from T. vulgaris and T. zygis and oftener called Spanish Thyme. A major anti-infective, it is used in lotions and creams or applied externally; reduces infection. However, this is a major skin irritant and can only be used highly diluted. Thyme CT phenol

My favorite for general use is thyme linolool, which smells sweeter and warmer but still packs a punch.
Thyme CT linalool (alcohol•mono-terpenol) – the scent is warm, herbaceous and floral and used in products or taken for fungal infections

There's something about a cup of herb tea that soothes and heals your spirit too.

    Feel better.

PS: Loving on Calz and MW.

    Yep, thyme is awesome.

Be aware, if you use essential oils, there are some important guidelines you have to use.

They must be well diluted -- use only drop amounts because they are VERY strong. Mix them in oil (any oil except mineral oil) ... almond oil is good as an all purpose base. Depending on what you're using it for, you could mix it in rubbing alcohol. I do that if I'm applying it to skin but don't want an oily feel.

If you are using it with children, use a very small amount, less than half the adult dosage. And don't use it on babies, it's too strong in any dilution, I think.

There are other forms of thyme that are best for very young children. Like thyme extract or glycerin.

Keep them put up well away from children and pets. Consider them the same as potent medicines. If you have a curious child, I'd put a lock on the cupboard.

I did a PDF of natural cleaning recipes and included essential oil safety guidelines ... it's on my profile page in the Green album. I'll go check to be sure it's not a private album so anyone who's interested can see it.

This has reminded me of the herb tea thread I started a year ago, going to go post on it.

    Thanks, One, for your interest.

Oh, and the phenol is a name for the group of constituents in thyme -- the oils that contain valuable properties. Thymol being one of the phenols in the Spanish thyme EO. All you need to know to get it is Thyme - thymol.

Here's a link to an old time book, now online (out of copyright) with loads of herb information. The thyme page of A Modern Herbal by Mrs. M. Grieve. http://botanical.com/botanical/mgmh/t/thygar16.html

Guess who had a young teenage daughter come home from school today, having been chased by a boy who "wanted a hug", and grabbed her by the backpack. She was pulling away, and when he let go (or when she broke free), she went flying forward and fell. She broke a finger - a displaced fracture.

I was not there to run him off with a stick. :~(
