Default Sandy Causes Nulcear Meltdown? and other Hazmat disasters...

I came acrosss this video today and am wondering if anyone has informatiton on the status of the nulcear powerplants in the northeast post Sandy.

Arnie Gunterson was concerned about Oyster Creek Nuclear Plant (our nations oldest nuclear plant) in New Jersey because the diesl engines to provide cooling in event that external sources of power are cut off during the storm. He states preemptive moves the industry can do to safeguard the plants and the people, yet none was done.

so were the diesls on or off at Oyster Creek? No one seems to ask the question. You can't run cooling pumps without either internal or external electricity sources.

Also signficant issues at the Salem nuclear plant and at Indian Point.

This video reports a number of hazmat disasters related to the storm aside from nuclear.

And this video has clips of the most relevant news related to the nuclear plants. The question is are TPTB telling us the truth regarding damages at these plants?

Remember Fukashima.....the lies, the lies and oh, the lies.

So what is going on at Indian Point? Anyone know?

I think it was a "lucky miss" with Oyster Creek. They lost cooling, then managed to get it back.

Enenews.com is a pretty good site for news. Honestly, nuclear is such a sack of ****. They just need to close them all down and never build another one. Talk about industrial insanity.

there have been five plants with problems, the news of course is silent. All of the nuke plants are built on earthquake fault lines. All 440 of them should be shut down right now. they are not safe.

in this video by Msmilky, Arnie Gunderson reports (starting at 3:00) about the very close call that happened in Oyster Creek nuclear facility. Clearly his prewarnings on these situations should be taken seriously. They got by due to sheer luck.
Of other interest on the video is a report that fema set up a control center to mitigate rumors after the storm.

Thorium is the next level up the nuclear ladder. It has no down side to it. The Russians and Chinese are now building them.
