More mellowness ... buyer beware ...

It feels more "right" than mirth in lieu of what is happening in gaza ...

Pretty sure I posted this in one of the music threads but if I posted it here it wasn't "now" ... it was a jillion pages ago and if anyone remembers it they truly have a photographic memory ...

My closest friend in high school turned me on to this artist (unfortunately she also turned me on to my biggest heartbreak by the time I went to college ... but I digress).

Took the day off, as my corporate overlords will eat my vaca if I don't use it, layed in bed and slept til one...nice, my girl needed it for sure as she was "thrust, pushed, twisted into one "dream" after another last night (the one she remembered sounded like cannibal house from the road, but when she got out of house, her persuers disappeared and the military was waiting outside for her).

She had headaches in between each, and one time in between, I was facing opposite of her but she was hearing "me" talk to her, trying to seduce her...said my eyes were glowing red and she called me the devil. She had conversation w someone in between us I could not see, I told her so, and massaged her neck til she went to sleep.

Took kids to school at 8:30, we apparently slept 5 hours...she doesn't seem to have these "sleep" issues during day. So strange, I wonder how much of this (if any) has to do with me. It (she, they) always tend to try to break us u, get me out, as it/they/part of her/whatever this is doesn't seem to want to be exposed

    ¤=[Post Update]=¤

So I went to an old favorite to transition from the bizarre night to make it a wacky fun day:

...little song, alittle dance, a little seltzer down your pants

My "boss" who works during the day as I slave at night is one of those poor souls who get sucked into the corporate nonsense. She is a wonderful woman ... absolutely brilliant. Hardworking redefines itself.

Yet ... of the 6+ weeks she has of "vaca" per year she takes perhaps 3 days (including "sick").

Wow ... really ... even with some of the "best" jobs with high salaries ... it really is quite apparent (to those with eyes to see at least) how we truly are a slave society (for the most part).

Good call about the mirth. I remeber you posting this "hunky" video. I didn't listen to it then either.

That is fine Donk, you convinced me that my daughter can make an album if Caledonia did. LOL

She will one day and I will make sure you all hear it. She is in fact very good, much better than 2 years ago, when she did her first show. She is only 15, writes the songs, the music and sing, both in English and French. Her voice is getting quite good, enough to start being noticed by professionals. Her piano is only 2 years old and getting there as well and her poetry nice. And she loves it.

Calz, this was my preferred song when young.

Here and Now...it is utterly silent. It is so peaceful outside. The hum of my laptop will soon disappear, and I will sit and listen and absorb this moment. MamaDog sleeps on the chair beside me on the porch, enjoying the crisp clean air. It is overcast today, fitting the mood I suppose. The puppies are konked out with their full bellies and don't-worry-be-happy existence.

Getting ready to go with Em to some other small town, the host of the auditions for the Region Band. If she does well, and I think she will, her confidence will go through the roof. Last time she went to region auditions, it was in the big city. She was competing above her age level, and the competition was fierce. She was an alternate, never actually participating in any way. This time, I hear rumors they are hoping for first chair. That's a stretch, but, hey what do I know lol. Could happen. I just want her to enjoy the experience, and anyone who has ever had an audition knows that's asking a lot. I will be there during the worst time for her, the waiting for the results...fingers crossed!

Today M and her teacher called me from school. She passed all the exit level standardized tests. What a huge day for her. This was so important to her, I can't even tell you. This child is really, really smart. Yes, mama didn't raise no fools, but she is my high IQ baby. Last night she fell into a depression. I thought I was going to lie down and crash...hard...after taking Little One home. But I felt what was bothering M, and I asked the Angels to give me words. I had none of my own, and my intuition had a head start into dreamy sleep land. And sure enough, I was able to remind her of a few things...like the fact that her weight and her bipolar and her past traumas and her health issues do not make her less valuable than anyone else. She knows, and I mean really knows, that the physical is not everything. She has Friends. She is perfect. (Shocking because it has taken me so long to come to this conclusion). And because all these things are True, she found a glimmer of hope instead of drowning in teen drama magnified by all these other influences.

We Rejoice in the Love, Light and Unity of the One Infinite Creator.
We are Grateful for Its Energy, Its Peace, and Its Strength.

That's how my heart feels, even while I empty myself trying to help in any way I can...I Am Full.

    Much Love,
Life is a road we don't travel alone. But everyone's on their own journey home.

When I have 10 minutes, maybe. As a musician, when I listen, I stop doing everything else. Music as background qualifies as noise for me, in most instances. Multi tasking is doing two things poorly at the same time, IMO. I must be of limited cerebral capacity. Most people multi task all the time. I can tell by the bad driving and cars swerving on the road. LOL

He better be worth it or I will fart in your general direction and then taunt you some more. (Spoken with an outrageous French accent)

    I meant Gourd.
Shinebox is much better than caledonia imo of course.

    But really not my style.

Ok listened to Shinebox entirely (I couln't with Caledonia), it has rythm and is good, yet not my style.

I am juiced about a new amp , in my color spectrum that will be here in a few days. I think it may be the last one in this limited color run. The amp is special too.

Goes well with my signature scarf I wear.

Ahhhhhh...gotcha, I wanted to do "web...before you walk into it", my all time fave--but couldn't find studio version on YouTube and can't tell quality of live stuff on my phone.

I hadn't listened to them forever, but was struck out of nowhere by the lyric:

    Everybody will go crazy
And* (of is it "when") the moon messes up...
