Isn't it interesting to see that so many metalheads are awakening? Say what you want about our music but you have to admit we're a savvy bunch

I think it's a combination of religious distrust and that sense of individualism that pervades so much in this genre that makes it easier to overcome the conditioning that maybe others are so beset by. Oh, and metal's fascination with the occult surely helps matters.

It's inspiring to see so many young bands producing this kind of output.

You can add Megadeth to the list as well and more underground bands like The Hidden Hand. And for the hip hop fans out there, do not forget Immortal Technique. He is an Illuminati-crushing one man army and someone whose path through the music industry a lot of people should take note of because he shunned the major labels to everyone's criticism only to make more money in the end by being independent. And he then invests his money into real projects like building a school in Afghanistan. A true role model in my eyes.

So yeah, loads of great metal bands have been at this for years now and whereas the mainstream bands like Muse and co might be criticised for watering things down a bit - don't forget they are on a massive label, too - underground metal will never be popular and that's where you'll find the purest motives when it comes to expressing the human spirit in the face of this vast conspiracy.

I went to see the Hobbit today which was a lot of fun. However, in the extended sneak peak Trailer for Star Trek into Darkness It features them going to Nibiru and deactivating a volcano. I can not find this trailer online.
The name of the planet Nibiru is clearly spelled out in the upper left hand corner of the screen.

They are chased through a red forest and they leave Spock behind in an out of control volcano to stabalize it and to save the planet Nibiru

In the short trailer below you can see the red forest I am talking about

Plus the Natives on Nibiru are savage like people painted in yellow and white very primitive.

I think that the OP is espousing new age nonsense,there is no evidence for anything supernatural or extra dimensional,there is,however,plenty of good evidence (despite the current trend to debunk ancient astronaut theory amongst those who haven't even researched it) of intervention & for the creation of homo sapiens by people from elsewhere..

the video really got me thinking, and ishtar's posts really expanded my thinking on the subject. I used to believe the gods were aliens, but no longer. The gods are returning, but it wont be on rockets.

I just want to be clear here.
What you are stating is that believing that ancient aliens landed on the planet and had something to do with genetic tinkering is a new age concept?
I do not think so.

But more importantly, I would like to comment on how the confusion over ancient gods and ancient aliens can actually have common ground.
It is not really a case of one or the other.

I will state I think ALL religion is parasitic in nature.

I think it quite possible that mankind was in fact encouraged to worship these ancient aliens as gods.
But when the ancient aliens left, all of the worshipfull energy smelled like grandmas homebaked chocalote chip cookies to fourth dimensional entities living in the space between our world and the after life.

I think in many cases entities began absorbing this energy and making psychic connections to those continuing in this worship.
So I do not think it a good idea to engage in worshiping the gods of old any more than the gods of new.
