if the CIA backed folks get in there, it probably will be via sharia law of some sort, it is suspected, and that all the Coptic Christians in Syria would likely be slaughtered. It would make them look innocent in the public eye, and keep the heat on in the area....at the same time they get the strategic ground and oil control that they want. No divining rods or crystal balls over here, it simply smells a bit like the outlined scenario.
There a huge Kurdish population in Syria, whom are very happy to have their own government within a new Syria. Just like what have happened in the new Iraq. The other Kurish population are in Iran and Turkey.

This is a huge undertaking, and will take more then us arguing with one another about trivia. There are three aspects going on...spirituality, politics and so called aliens. All of it comes under the heading of 'messing with consciousness'.

I would like to see a committee (I hate committees!) of serious minded people from all walks of life coming together to discuss these three aspects.
My gut feeling is that it will have to get worse before people realise it is too late. I spoke to David Icke one day about waking buddhists up to what is going on, (what a foolish boy I was) they do not want to know!?

You are right, our problem was and is still ego!

Maybe this is not a group endeavour, just a personal journey. We are merely on a beautiful planet where **** happens.

I personally think we can work together, but it will take much psychological understanding of the ordinary human mind to solve this. It is a matter of finding that 'link' or doorway for people to begin to drop the ego and open up their minds to 'real' potential. This goes beyond always turning a topic to one's personal ego manipulations.

    Hi Tony,

Apologies for veering off topic here- I have noticed a strong tendency on this site for folks to divide things into a them and us scenario- we being the innocent victims, and them being our evil rulers, inlcuding alien and reptile variations.

In my mental meanderings I am very drawn to trying to work out how the collective ego works, because it is my view that through the strange things that happen when egos combine (the whole being far greater than the sum of the parts), it is our combined egos that create the Blairs and Bushes of this world. THEREFORE, if we can withdraw our egos from these numerous collectives we participate in, the power of the collective egos is reduced accordingly. That is why I continue to hope that our combined efforts mean something special.

The only problem is, of course, due to the magnetic nature of our egos, they will recombine. Giving us a combined Avalon ego. Diminish, diminish, diminish......

From a buddhist perspective, I guess it doesn't really matter as its all mara. What is is, and couldn't be any different.

Amazing how US intelligence can know about something like this being done in secret but didn't have a clue about the attack before, during, and after, in Benghazi????????????......and they they still claim they don't have a clue (or the intelligence) concerning the attack in Benghazi almost 3 months later!!!

Sadly 99% of the sheeple people buy into this propaganda and BS rhetoric from these insane psychopaths who are babbling this junk to the mainstream media idiot journalists...

I'm quite fed up with the lies, death, and destruction being caused by these war-mongering psychopathic anti-human pathetic scumbags.

Obviously Assad is about to end up like Qaddafi and Syria will become nothing but a chaotic country full of cut throats ruling it like Libya and Egypt etc....then I'm sure these psychopaths will then head to Iran to pull the same mind games of rhetoric and regime change.

Only if a programmed populace continues to buy into it. Even dogs get used to not responding to the "fake throw" thing after awhile. Our gene pool needs a good spring cleaning.

When the Syrian internet went down, days ago, it was pretty close to a move like this.

If Assad thinks the 'allies' will blink first ( because he's threatening to retaliate with chemical weapons ) I think he'll only see the whites of their eyes instead.

I think it's very likely, if he really has such weapons, that he'll use them. He clearly wiped out the hub of the foreign campaign against him last year, so he's likely to think he can do it again.

It all depends on whether Russia have been bought off and left him on his own this time.

May I recommend a news source that will give a counter balance to the western propaganda we are stuck with here.

It's the world service of the Islamic Republic of Iran Radio ( IRIB English http://english.irib.ir/ ). I listen to it on shortwave, when I can, but all the programming is available from their website to stream. They do an hour long News And Views broadcast that looks at middle east affairs from the very polar opposite to what most of us hear, and I can tell you, I've often been able to make much more sense of things by hearing their focus on what's happening.

The Great Weapon will explode in the Orient, leaving eternal wounds. This loose mark on the flesh of the world will no longer be erased.

The Great Weapon, useless to the war, used for power. To frighten those who do not submit to slavery. But no weapon stops one who has faith.
Quote "Great Flash in the Orient. You will not hear the thunder, it too will be unexpected.

This will happen when in the Orient a leader will die and in the West, a leader will be killed. South of Luther.

Refuse the assassins who will turn themselves in, refuse those who will be presented. The murderers are in Europe. They want the Mediterranean Sea. Then there will be the murder with no assassin.

Who ever annotated these Prophecies of John XXIII should probably have written "[FDR-Pearl Harbor / Truman-Hiroshima]", not "[Ike-Pearl Harbour / Truman-Hiroshima]"

Ike (Dwight D. Eisenhower) was a mere Brigadier General staff officer of no particular note when the US entered World War II after Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. He did not become US President until a decade later.

    Hello Bram,

    I missed this - sorry.

    You are right, what is...is!
And birds of a feather do flock together.

This reminds me of the story of the man (or women) who wanted to put leather over the whole planet, so the rough stones wouldn't hurt his (or her) bare feet...when all he (or her) ('they' would be better!) had to do was put leather of their own feet.

We are a divided world. Some our only concerned with their bodies, some the mind, some the spirit, some make up rules for all three.

I met a soldier this morning, and we spoke about the wars in the Middle East. He trained locals to be soldiers, but they had a different mind set. If one told them off, they would take it personally, whereas an American or Brit would learn and shrug it off. They have a different view on women.

This world will never be as one, but one can at one with others, in a meeting of minds...for a moment.

    Hello Corncrake,

Different parts of the world have different mind sets...or their minds have been made that way.
The things that go on just mystify me, so brutal and barbaric.
The way they treat women is horrendous.

Our government on the other hand, sweet talk us with posh voices...and we believe them!

    Hi Tony,

IMO, the great majority of people don't care about the suffering of others. The egoic self relegates all other beiings to the periphery of its self importance; if this egoic self expresses concern, it is for selfish reasons, to establish its identity, and not through any real caring.

Remember when OXFAM had to show pictures of starving babies to get people to donate? Well, even this doesn't work these days. Television has got us tied right down under the control of the collective ego, bombarding us with the righteousness of vengeance.

It seems, and it is borne out by some posts on this site, that as long as you can differentiate between yourself [us] and the people who are suffering this terrible abuse, then you can also separate yourself from sharing their suffering (compassion). But our fight is, as ever, with the ego: we can influence the collective view from within, but not I fear from without.

    Bram

    Not saying this is so.
    BUT it may be!!!

Karma extends over all previous lifetimes---- If we take what we see as an event isolated to this life situation, then its horrendous.
If we had knowledge of what was done to whom by who in a previous lifetime then it might possibly add up/make sense.
The Mongol hordes slaughtered---they did not take prisoners.
Perhaps in another form/sex/culture the same is now done to them.
We have all been perpetrator and victim of the most vile deeds in pat lives---have we not?

Of course death is not a possibility.

When consciousness rises in the individual it may be seen that getting even just takes you back to another life for the enemy to yet again get even with you and on it goes, unless the individual stops judging. getting even, condemning and starts forgiving, accepting what is (surrender to the will of God)

This may seem of topic but it is the essence of here we go again!!!

As Tony said, Chris, this is absolutely on topic!

When you think of how many lifetimes we have unconsciously worked our way towards this present awakening, then it is not surprising that many of us are carrying a heavy burden of karma.

Even worse is the thought that much of our karma is laying dormant within us, in 'seed' form- unless we are carefully conscious 100% of the time, we will get caught out again and again by this karma. Its a bit like snakes and ladders, you can go all the way back to the start with the last roll of the dice.....

    Chris,

Your timely reminder that we are merely witnessing the unfolding of karma for some reason put me in mind of the beautiful zen koan:

''The snow falls, each flake in its appropriate place...."

    Our world is they way it is, and it could not be any different, because this present moment is the only one in existence;

Even with what we see on our television screens, our world is a place of infiinite mystery and beauty.

    Love, bram

    Yes that is sound advice.
Even High Souls like Jesus can face a final temptation.
Ramana said you must be on guard even to the final moment.

Do they think we are totally stupid, this is weapons of mass destruction, all over again!
These people are totally evil, in creating a world of suffering. Day after day we see them turning the screws tighter and tighter...and think we do not notice!

All the heads of state must know what is going on, but fear they will be treated like John Kennedy, so they cannot say too much.

Indeed they must think we are stupid , or is it them who are stupid and without and creativity for their lies ?
I think both , most people believe anything the media tells them blind.

here are a couple of examples from The Past which are indentical situations if you will....

The false Lies about Weapons of Mass destruction in Iraq .
    https://youtube.com/watch?v=VG_iKDZoDyc

Then they tried To Threathen Iran in the same way's
    https://youtube.com/watch?v=fXFfhIut2Ho

But now something different this propaganda that they bombard us with is infact controlled opposition , lets look at some pictures that will say a lot.

Make no mistake they are all friended and serving The papacy !

Now lets see what Craig Oxley has to say about Syria ?
I will use his material because i know he is a good researcher and i haven't done enough research on the subject yet.

if the CIA backed folks get in there, it probably will be via sharia law of some sort, it is suspected, and that all the Coptic Christians in Syria would likely be slaughtered.
400 UN troops dropped in, Kurds were being attacked by both sides in Syria while Turkey was using al Qaeda mercenaries to attack from behind...

do you think Kurdish Turkey or Kurdish Iran will be next to join?
