I came down with perhaps the worst flu I have ever had. It started a few days ago. I am already on the upswing fortunately. In a strange way, I have this feeling this flu event is somehow cleansing something out of me... but that is just a feeling. I hope my recent clarity returns as I was really enjoying the benefits of my cleanse / diet and this flu seems to have set me back a bit.

An actual here and now, I'm eating my chiki fli lice, and I was so hungry and dizzy..that I took the container of dark fluid from the fridge...and simply started shaking it liberally on the rice. I like to soak the rice, just a bit, with fresh soy.

I look down, and it's the big bottle of Lee & Perrins Worcestershire sauce.

Whoops!

Oh well, I love the heat anyway. Danger eating!

So I hit it with a big dose of soy as well.

Of course, I cried like a baby...usually do. Not good for playing...wet, tear filled keys are a bit slippery. My heart gets so full...between the pain and the joy.

As I read what I just wrote, it sounds crazy...I sound crazy. Maybe I am. I really do feel like I have a foot in both worlds at such times. Hard to explain.

Oh I know the feeling. I was in that state for a good year and a half, non stop. 'It was the best of times, it was the worst of times', as the man said.

Oh Gosh, actually right now listening to a conversation of my daughter with a male friend: "Women are more developed than men, men are simpler, this is why they do not understand the emotions and thinking of women, their simplicity is a nice thing, but, they do not understand." I am surprised he is still on the phone with her, he must find her pretty (in simpler terms, lol)

May be I should tell her to mix worcestire and soy sauce next time on his rice, to see if he will still hang around. lol

I use it instead of salt. It is quite salty tasting , but this comes from naturally occurring sodium, not salt/sodium chloride, in the soybeans. I love the stuff. They do not claim organic, but do claim non-GMO soybeans are used.

Hello Village! Going to go do some major catching up on this thread and PA....honestly have been struggling a bit these past weeks. The combination of my birthday tomorrow ( or today pending on timezone) and the holidays for the first time without my mom, in addition to still coping with single motherhood, has been overwhelming. I hate to admit it...but its there glaring at me...

With all the newly acquired heavy information regarding cosmic happenings (Horus Ra thread etc), I guess I needed some breathing room. Now in retrospect I don't think withdrawing was the best medicine. It's the loneliness that cripples me most...and of course logically the longer I was away the more lonely I felt. This place is really more of a tangible lifeline for me than I ever realized. So I just want to say, I love you all and have missed you dearly.

Now I have two Braggs bottles on my shelf, since last week.
Costa Rica is a small country, and any specialist shop can take full advantage of their monopoly status on certain products.
So they are now bringing in Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar with Mother, at $7 for a small bottle.

What you went through Amanda plus being a single mom, and not having your mom, makes one feel very lonely indeed.

Being a single mother is difficult, often not having anyone to rely on when difficulties arise, coming back from work and having only children to speak with, therefore not being able to share worries and grown up joys. It makes one feel very lonely at times. The good news is that you will find someone some day.

I'm biased, I smoke like a furnace and am still unreasonably skinny. I really know how to read a woman's urge to share a greater age and still play 'fun' stuff in the head.

Thinking about when Peanut was young. She would grab her Daddy's hand and drag him out past the fence in the back yard, back into the wooded area. There they would place miscellaneous items from our home for the fairies. Even little yummies they would take.

I remember. I hope she does.

Just purchased a back up bottle of Braggs this a.m. for $3.99. I use it to prepare for the liver/gallbladder detox rather than apple juice. I use rice vinegar and Tamari and sesame oil as a salad dressing, and the two are tasty on brown rice and sea kelp. Going to bed because today is yesterday. Night All. xo
