They don't understand that they have a blind spot in their eye that is blank, and that they fill it in with information that is not there. And as well, they have veins running through their eyes that are pumping blood, and motes in their eyes. And both get edited out, filtered out from perception.

That if they hold their eyes still long enough....that their minds, as an eye/brain combination, will edit out all that does not move, and does not change. (This is why our eyes are always minutely wandering)

The reality of 'that which does not change' being edited out of their actual rolling and living concepts of life, motion and living.

All one has to do, is hold their eyes open in meditation, in a not too bright room, while meditating. Perfectly still, eyes open, no blinking, not the slightest amount of motion in the eyes.

In about 15 minutes or so, one's vision will slowly fuzz out to becoming completely blank. I've experienced this often.

The process of viewing 'reality' while ensconced in an avatar is a process of not just seeing, but unconscious and autonomous editorialization.

Once one experiences this directly, via, lets say, this visualization and vision loss experiment, the question arises ...very very real in the mind and life..that..'Now, what else am I editing out? How much is there to see and know and be..that I'm editing out? Right now?

I'm reminded of an experiment that measures left and right brain hemisphere switches, and which lasts exactly one minute.
One has to stare at three moving yellow dots, moving about randomly on a black background square applet...which is also filled with moving blue dots.
The experiment works like this...pen and pencil ready, the person has to draw a tick on the paper each time the yellow dots disappear from their vision field.
This supposedly marks that split second when vision shifts from left to right brain hemisphere and vice versa.

It turned out that the people with most frequent switches were dancers, as they have to remember their moves (right brain) as well as measure the space around them (left brain). So dancers need to use both brain hemispheres as much and as often as possible.


Meanwhile what I understand from meditation is that the meditative state balances both brain hemispheres equally,
and this then leads one to perceive that same blind spot that occurs in the switch experiment.

It is during that perfect balanced state when one can transcend all
and move beyond space/time reality
to "see" those myriad other worlds that are out there.

No comment.

Puns can indeed be puny especially when there is no context. On the other hand, when both senses are fully activated and meaningful in a significant context, a pun can be the highest form of appropriateness.

I refused. Instead, I convinced it to go away, so it would return, when needed again. As I tried to convince it, it got the idea to do so on it's own, and left. As it did so, I stepped on the tippy-tip of it's tail, and said, hey, not so fast!..but it broke off... and it ran away regardless.

I would have tried to skip 11th grade had I known that I would have to put up with an anti-pun teacher.

Teachers are really missing out on life if they can't appreciate a good pun,
and to try and ruin punning for the kids as well...well. that is inexcusable.

Ah, I'm not so sure it was anti-pun, it is kind of a fact, not a judgement--you can make a joke without even changing one word, which is the ultimate pun. Maybe "most basic" would have been a better way to say it, but I don't question her too much, she was one of the smartest people i ever met. I guess she should have been considering she was at least 115 years old. I heard she is still alive god bless her, she's gotta be pushing a century and a half by now.

And if I skipped 11th grade, I may have never read Kurt Vonnegut or George Orwell, leading to a time line where I'd never have found this place...

Anonymous has hacked into the underground broadcasting system and is sending clips from the movie 2012 with a warning it could be years before time to come back to the surface...

I refused. Instead, I convinced it to go away, so it would return, when needed again. As I tried to convince it, it got the idea to do so on it's own, and left. As it did so, I stepped on the tippy-tip of it's tail, and said, hey, not so fast!..but it broke off... and it ran away regardless.

And in the dream, others tried to talk to it, but they could not. The one closest to it, tried just before I arrived, and was burned in the process, with a touch of hot breath. 'Dangerous out there' they said to me, slightly singed. This.... as I turned the corner to speak to the dragon, from the given rampart (in the center of the hollowed out building).

I was armored up, and with a double bladed sword, which was capable of being taken apart and each blade wielded separately. Which I looked at askance, with a slight frown and a shrug, as being useless to the task at hand.

In such frame and state, I rounded the corner, dug the points of the sword into the ground, and began the slightly one sided conversation. No words where spoken by the dragon, only silent observation.

The next one is in 2060 where Issac Newton predicted the Biblical 'End Times'. He was a clever guy, but then so where the Mayan's..

I should think that people will be leaving their bunkers to their children and grandchildren.

And what I took away from that when I awoke, is that dragons live long and breed slowly. Thus their learning curve (rate of mutation) is longer and more drawn out than that of the short lived humans..who learn and change fast..the humans who integrate with them. That the dragon is both what holds them back, but also allows for groups, large groups..to change. Both stability, and reflection. And that convincing the dragon to change, was the hardest of all. And in the end, it is as it should be, that the dragon changes itself. All it takes, is the right words.

Is the Dragon symbolic of the old power structure, set in it's way's and hard to change? The 'traditions' of the ruling elite?

Maybe the dream is a sign that things are now changing for the better, as the elite are losing their grip,
and that in a way our captivity was also our salvation.

Above, so below. It is both personal, tied to this thread, and global. Individual, and global. It exists as a question, an answer, personal and all encompassing. An observation of what people are, in our myriad ways. We all do this sort of thing, on any side of this equation. Sometimes we are the dragon, sometimes we are the fast moving smaller ones, who pass by the situation quickly. Parent and child for example, or teacher and students.... or government (or church) and population. It's all a matter of perspective.

I had vivid dreams last night, in long sequences. First I was seduced by the most alluring and gawdalmighty attractive female that my subconscious could conjure up. Naked she was and totally in capitulation was I, but the only thing that was consummated was our companionship and telepathic communion together. No hanky-panky. Somehow, (I am asking myself now "How?") I was able to overcome the orange ray urge, if you know what I mean. Later, I was much more lucid and cognizant of being in time/space. I remember meditating on the Solstice, and extending myself outside of myself to test the waters and see what post-Apocalypto was like. It too was alluring. I said to myself, yep it's different, I can feel it. The only way I could explain the sensation in the dream was that thought manifestation into reality was instantaneous and spontaneous....... But aren't dreams always that way when you achieve lucidity? Still it felt different, and palpable. That is my meditation for today, to concentrate on the power to manifest this reality instantaneously for the higher good of all in this new paradigm.
