Here and Now...What's Happening?

Oh man, here's my interesting start to the new era..
I just had the fire department here, that was a close call..

I'm ok, dogs are ok, but the house stinks, and i cant stay here tonight,
well not inside anyways, so sleeping with the stars for me tonight!

I try to be open-minded about most things these days, steering clear of both gullibility and skepticism. I like to lean more toward the positive as a rule, and have more of an aversion to skepticism these days (after all; https://projectavalon.net/forum4/show...-Facts-In-2012).

Today I realized that I was perhaps too invested in the more positive predictions made about this specific date. 12-21-12 may end up being seen as the beginning of something much greater, but it seems nothing occurred that's immediately apparent.

I feel a bit foolish perhaps, for expecting something big. Instead this has become for me as a bit of a test. Can I keep faith that the bigger changes are coming? That I can positively contribute to them as they manifest? Can I BE that change?

At least I never got wrapped up in the 'doom-n-gloom', nor anything fanatical like that. I'm thankful that we can put that particular brand of fear mongering on the shelf, for now.

Yes, sorry to hear Astrid, I hope you will be able to have Christmas in house, with the smell mostly gone.

Sage stick, embers, in the laundry, and whoosh.
I'm usually so very careful..

I was about to go into meditation during which i usually go very deep,
it all could have been way way worse.

Agent was meant to fix the smoke detectors and hasn't,
by law here they have to be fitted and working..
So I'm not sure what the wash up will be, being a tenant and all.

But yes, it could have been way way worse.. the chemicals that
were in the laundry were scary enough. Lots of solvents, including
a 20 litre can of Kerosene. Like holy crap, lucky very very lucky.

I usually keep the laundry door closed but it was open thankfully,
so i got a heads up and contained it for the most part myself.
Woolen blankets and garden hose, did the trick, but i called the
fire dept just in case. A great bunch of guys.

Still kind of in that shock adrenaline state.
going to eat and try and calm some .

Whenever I've lived in a rental, I've added a few of the battery operated smoke detectors of my own, to whatever the landlord was supposed to provide .

they were only here a month back and
went away with a "list" but so much for
relying on them to do the right thing.

Yep, I'm fine, and The Trickster is very much at play here.
The laundry was full of my old life... boxes and drawers of antique architectural hardware,
door furniture and the like. Stuff that is valuable but is no longer what interests me.
So i had my own mini purification, like it or not that which no longer serves will fall away,
or get removed in one way or another. That is if you don't do it first.
Me lazy ( double) Libran, gets overwhelmed with sorting and moving things on, so in this case it was sorted for me,
this particular chapter is now closed, albeit by force.
I called my ex and hes coming next week to take whatever is salvagable.

I now have to decide whether to tell the agent at all, or just go ahead and clean up the mess myself,
which will mean a fresh painted laundry. No big deal, and it means i don't have to deal with all the BS.

Is the Dragon symbolic of the old power structure, set in it's way's and hard to change? The 'traditions' of the ruling elite?

Maybe the dream is a sign that things are now changing for the better, as the elite are losing their grip,
and that in a way our captivity was also our salvation.

Above, so below. It is both personal, tied to this thread, and global. Individual, and global. It exists as a question, an answer, personal and all encompassing. An observation of what people are, in our myriad ways. We all do this sort of thing, on any side of this equation. Sometimes we are the dragon, sometimes we are the fast moving smaller ones, who pass by the situation quickly. Parent and child for example, or teacher and students.... or government (or church) and population. It's all a matter of perspective.

I detect a highly astrological flavour to Carmody's dragon. The dragon would seem to behave like a very distant outer planet, something like a Planet X, or even a brown companion star, maybe Nibiru. Which would explain a great deal.

What I am interested in is something Freud had absolutely no room for: how a child could change their parent from being this father figure carved in stone into something more human, ditto with teachers, and ultimately with dragons.

How can we stop submitting to external astrological forces and reshape our solar system into something more human and more childlike. Astrology works only too well. We need to teach our d ominant planets a thing or two.

Similar to anti-gravity..once you learn how to unravel the effects of all the planets, then it all falls away into a balance point..and you can freely come and go. And you begin to live outside of the effects and flows of astrology. Granted, the people and world around you are still moving to the dance of the heavens, as it has to be woven through on this earth..like the patterned pitching of the oceans, from a large ship deck.

I made it past that issue by unraveling my entire life, in reverse, to the point of soul-body connection, before birth, in the womb. Time consuming that task is. Worth completing? Very much so, beyond measure. Sometimes I feel I never should have given that condition and position up. As I've said prior, though, I know the way back, I've traveled over that mountain path before.

Point is, that it cannot be completed while in integration with the world. Withdrawal, in the whole, is part and parcel of the attempt - and crucial to the result. Like the film 'Altered states', basically a form of living in the sensory and input deprivation tank, but slowly..over months and moving into the year plus range.

How badly does one want it? How committed is one to getting there? Every inch of the extant and underlying self needs be addressed.

Have I fallen from grace as now, I'm watching episodes and skits from things like 'robot chicken', and laughing my ass off? No, is the answer, the overall experience has taught me. But one who has not gone whole hog does need to actually travel the path, in order to know what that truly means.

What one realizes when such an act as I have described has been committed to and completed, is the human aspect, and universal aspects of all conditions and positions that can be and are extant.

The position of view becomes universal, outside of time, and this temporal and linear anchor of the body is gone and thus time becomes meaningless. In those times, different analyses and thoughts form. Time for everything, and anything as time(connected to in it's expression) ...becomes irrelevant. The pressures and associated narrowing of the view are gone, in the same moment the time issue leaves the table.

Understanding still 'takes time' as the avatar and window are still what they are, but the being inside ceases to live in the blinkered core of the human struggle, these doorways to greater understanding form and truth takes shape. Finally.

Anyway, there was the slightest twinge of worry it could turn literal, but I didn't believe it.
So powerful the mind is.
There's a lesson there for me as well.
Anyway, you did have yourself your own mini apocalypse. Glad it was contained.

Yeah, I had to total the Sunfire (pontiac, my wife's car) thursday night, luckily a clearing of sorts minus fire or injury. She will be getting a new car out of the deal, unless we decide to get something more utilitarian.
