Here and Now...What's Happening?

I am reminded of the one store owner, who owns three stores in the area. He always hired 'hot' young ladies for employees. He's married now, and has a child.

His latest employee 'hires'.....exude notably less sex appeal.

I had discussion of this subject with a friend whom I work with (business wise). It went something like:

The problem is that it is real, and that your sanity and capacity to run your business and the future of the families of ~40 people whom work for you, are, to a certain extent threatened by the given instability.

In the case of that, it is Your family's security, your connections in business and their stability and the stability of the lives and families of your employees.

And the situation is that YOU cannot go, as the owner and operator. And that, regardless of the origins of the situation, regardless of where it lies now or where it might go..that the problem , or other part of the problem equation, this person... has to go. End of story. There's no other immediately viable answer. There's no fair here, as that is the way it has rolled out and that is what is in front of you.

...and although the building business is a bit more rough around the edges than most other businesses...as both owner and supervisor for many years I have had to make the solo decisions to let people go(if it was a union job I would simply have them transferred)...and sometimes the very top of the talent on the crew....because something about them was just not 'right' and was deliberate in and of them in hindering proper progress and momentum and 'working together' rhythm.
I have had female carpenters too, fortunately they were rather talented with high work ethics and that shut down most of the males negative motives and their thoughts of any kind of sexual innuendos for there was a 'working' respect of and for the girls.
I shared this somewhere before I think...I would get the reputation as the nicest a***hole to work for where-ever I settled in and established business for a time. : )
....it all seems like another world to me now.

Correct - it was The Fall - I get those guys confused... (it was 39 years ago when I read their works...) I also misspelled his name too, it is (as you pointed out) Camus.

The Fall (as No Exit) were about the most depressing things I ever read.

hahaha can be true... but it can also be true that other people can sometimes be delicious angels... I will see if that might be the case this evening!

Exactly - and in fact... sometimes one can have the basic decency and respect of a Spirit being at their soul level where you don't even go there with any "sexual" thoughts much less intentions.

I walk to my office every day.

Along the way I pass all sorts of lovely flowers.

That doesn't mean I bend over to smell every one... I just appreciate that the flowers are happy to be flowers and in fact shine their flowerness without silly emotional or territorial or insecurity issues. But hey, I am probably not from this planet anyways - I never understood jealousy or protectionism or the desire to put a box over a flower because it happens be be just too beautiful.

I also have another problem that doesn't work too good around most parts of this planet. I see the person first... the living being... I mean, their core Spirit as well as their "soul"... and then I might happen to catch their overall physical appearance... but I am simply this way because I honor all life and I am never threatened by any expression of life even ravenously beautiful women that also might need a job.

But hey... that's just me... I sure hope I incarnate elsewhere next go round.

This image calls me. I am not really one for cold weather. It is the absolute peace, serenity, and the blanket of quiet that snow provides. I look at this and I can smell the air, the ice and snow. They have a distinct aroma for me. And the trees feel so very safe and encompassing.

Morning everyone. Been upset lately about not recalling my dreams, but this morning's dream just came back loud and clear.
I was traveling in a third world country, on the back of a pick-up truck.
The meaning of this image is clear to me...I came to Costa Rica by marriage to a Costa Rican, not by direct choice. Hence the pick-up. There were others on the truck with me. This left over image is from last night's party which was huge, as are all my husband's family's gatherings. Crowds and crowds. I was aware of being alone amongst these travelers, and holding a potted tree the trunk of which had been broken near the bottom. Someone asked me about it and I said I was taking it to a gardening center to have it fixed. By grafting the trunk back together again.

Next thing I noticed was a huge map on the sky, a star map. People thought it was real, but I told them it was a man-made hologram, projected up to the air with some unknown high technology. There were moments when I looked at it that I doubted my own words, but when I focused on it again I could see small Google maps symbols, and was reassured that this was indeed man-made and fake. Make-believe.
There was more, but this is all I can remember.

I've been having a series of dreams, scarcely remembered, but every bit connected. I reported the water dream, and that was one, a few nights later, a few nights ago, I was working with others amongst us, it seemed, untangling this huge knots of lines of light, which would come apart rather explosively. Last night, I was working with these and more, there was this vast array of people made of wood, like four inch thick puzzle people, with these patterns of lines dividing them all different ways, there were several of us who made object of light, that fit into the palm, and we would run these over the lines on the puzzle people, and done correctly the given line would light up, and when the correct pattern was achieved, the person would become real, and the bewieldered person just awaking would receive some assurance/explaination before we would just move on to the next one.

also, I really dig your dream, ulli, in me own universall message kinda way.... Love it!

Thanks PL, I really dig your dream, too...universal message there for me.
Especially coming from the perspective of mysticism versus organized religion...something that keeps flaring up.
Mystics are made of light, and followers of organized religions are made of wood, hence they are more rigid than light.
To me Avalon and especially the Here and Now thread is an attempt to "organize" a bunch of mystics.
My chopped off tree can't grow unless it is back in one piece. The leaves must have some access to the roots, sunlight alone won't maintain health. This can mean many things...literally reconnecting with my German family, my roots.
But also with the earth, which is material reality.
Hopefully that tree of my dream will be able to grow again soon.

Yes, I see your tree as analogous to this thread, and to the next thing, Love/Understanding.

There were at least a dozen of us I know from this thread and IRL who were involved in the process with lighting the lines on the puzzle pieces, and a number of the puzzle people were individuals amongst our general forum membership, and some here and now, and some I know IRL. Your take on mysticism and religion fits right in with my own literal brass tacks way of seeing that one. I loved especially the google logo in the sky, as I have seen that one my very own self, and within that dream was saying the same to the people, as it was proof we lived in a projection. Too funny, too synchronistic, no longer very shocking, though. It never gets old, the back and forth, but it does loose the shock value after a while, but it's always fun seeing others going throug the "holy sh!t" phase of "awakening".

For a few days, now, the particular feel/vision of these recent dreams of mine have been breaking into the waking consciousness unsolicited, as in not through any meditative state. Even this moment.

I had a lump in my throat, in the car, right after that last post. Then I saw a car going into an accident, a little warble and it was further back, by about fifteen feet, and no accident even though I'd just seen the start of an impact, three vehicles.
