Solar maxes are going right out of fashion. We are heading for a nice little Maunder minimum, not because it's better, it's just cool.

I used to think money was so last century, but it seems financial crashes are the things that have been jumping out of the windows. Good enough for me - for now, because it does still smack of doublespeak such as 'the rate of inflation is dropping', meaning inflation is still rising.

Controlling satellites? Rocky is busy zapping them.

Science fiction? I feel like one of those Robert Heinlein time travellers: the same person is all the characters at different times. Only I'm getting my act together, and when I'm finished there will be no story, just me and my buddies.

So here is a picture I have some thoughts about, coming from an astrology angle.


A conjunction is when two stellar objects are occupying the same longitude, and since the moon circles us every month, this conjunction event happens for a few hours each month. This time, however, we not only have a moon/Jupiter conjunction, but actually a moon Jupiter eclipse. In other words, this Christmas these two bodies occupied not only the same longitude, but also the same latitude.

Astrologically speaking, the moon governs the sign of Cancer.
Associated with security, home, food, recovery, sleep, dreams, shyness, nurturing others, tucking people into bed, as well as being tucked in, withdrawal, everything to do with what nature does when nighttime descends.
Meanwhile Jupiter governs the sign of Sagittarius.
Associated with freedom, expansion, liberation, travel, exploration, generosity, risk takings, optimism, search for what's behind those blue mountains, restlessness, thinking the grass is greener on the other side, showing off, exaggeration, actually, everything that appears the opposite of the lunar traits.

I haven't read this anywhere else, but to me this seems like people would feel contradictory energies within themselves.
Not sure whether to stay at home or go and take a trip. Cancerians would feel a strong pull towards Jupiter traits, and surprise people with behavior that's slightly out of character. Meanwhile Sagittarians would be feeling the opposite from their normal self...ie. become emotional, longing for family and roots, wanting to stay home.
Anyone here from either of those two signs that can relate to what I'm noting here?

As I stated, when I began the hunger strike (on the 12th of December) if we do not see anything positive, thirty days after the start on Jan. 10/13, I'm willing to give my life so future generations can survive and enjoy the many gifts from the "Creator". I have a lot of very good reason to want to live, and I have a lot of faith in all of the Aboriginal People and our Sisters and Brothers of other color, who are in this struggle to save "Mother Earth" for those that are living and those not yet born.

this is a hyper critical thing that is happening here.

basically, that Stephen Harper, the oil company and 'black ops corporate' insider toy and appointee..is trying to circumnavigate the entire reason and truth of what kept Canada from breaking up and being absorbed into the USA, to create 'Fascist Fortress North America'.

At one time I related that in the last vote about Quebec Separatism (via infiltrating Quebec politics and flaming into an inferno the subversive basis for separatist thinking and acting)....it was one single native man who prevented the break-up of Canada and stalled the creation of the USA based 'fascistic fortress north America.'

What Harper has been doing is bypassing the treaty agreements with the native Canadians in near totality. He's been trying like hell to give it all to foreign corporations. this break up of Canada, as US insider attempts go, stems from and continues from well before the war of 1812. Stephen Harper comes from the 'Manning Party' of Alberta, which has become the "Alberta oil corporate -black government of the USA' party, as true facts and core origins go. If there was an equation to be bandied about as a comparison, it would be George Bush Junior, or Mitch Romney. He would be comparable to them, as subversive origins go.

Harper specifically is going after the break up of Canada, in any way he can get that to happen. And he's doing it by following his directives from his controllers, which is to tear down the Native Canadian position, via ignoring law and treaty. He is fully entering the prosecutable crime area of action, behavior and provable intent/results.

To put it into perspective, regarding this exact situation that is unfolding here......you are looking at a 'hidden battlefront', that is just as critical as the entire middle east situation.

No longer protected are northwestern Ontario rivers like the Kaministiquia, or the Nipigon River, home of the largest speckled trout in the world.
Chiefs point out the Prime Minister promised that his government would never approve unilateral changes to the Indian Act. They are right. The government has not adequately consulted with first nations. However, neither has the Prime Minister consulted with scientists, academics, small businesses, Canadian workers, NGOs, provincial premiers, or Parliament, including his own backbenchers, so first nations chiefs are in good company.
The PM does seem to consult frequently and widely with CEOs of banks, foreign oil companies and dictators of communist countries.

I have good news.
I totally forgot to mention that just yesterday the guy who is pulling rocks and sand out of our river here has had his operation temporarily suspended. The government is currently looking into it all, and there is a growing movement to get this whole valley under a national environmental protection law.

My first thought was this would never have happened had I not brought that issue to the Villagers' attention.
So as our next assignment- lets hold the light on this Canadian situation, regarding that C 45 bill, and perhaps you'll get some real results shortly.

Welcome to the village, it's a nice place to work out your worries.

I meant my family should be worried about WW3 (or at least an economic collapse,) but they're too busy seeking pleasure in life to be concerned. Also, I was recollecting my childhood - things weren't OK and my family weren't worried about me then. But now I'm OK (after much struggle), but the world is in a precarious state and my family is still not interested. I hope I'm explaining this clearly....

The bill violates every aspect of life -the earth, air, water, animals and human beings. It will effect millions of peoples' lives.
Focused positivity and holding the land and all of the peoples of Canada in protection and love.

I want to say too that for an Traditional Elder to come out openly in public and call on Pipe Carriers and people who carry the Medicine is huge. Traditional people are usually very quiet about Sacred things and do not openly discuss it.

Honestly, a computer controlling our thoughts, said matter of factly? Like it's a done deal? Still, who am I to say.

Which brings up what I wanted to mention. Seems my solstice day resolution of not believing anything I cannot know for certain has backfired - because I rejected the belief in God as well and it has left me bereaved. I have never given up my belief in God, even when I rejected my family religion. For me that transition was very traumatic because I have such strong faith and I felt so lost without the formal structure of a religion. Many thought I would become a priest, even the little voice inside of my head said there was a strong possibility (the thought of which always filled me with dread). So now I find myself wanting to declare that I KNOW God exists because my heart tells me so, and so does the little voice, and it has never been wrong. I must believe, it is like air to me.

Except I think this time around I am going to take a bit of responsibility on behalf of that faith. On behalf of my faith I must take a more active role in displaying the gifts of faith and of life. And personally, I am honor bound to cherish this life and this world that God has graced me with.
It is a sacred duty. It is what I have neglected to fully understand. It is what I want to set right with the rest of my time on this earth.

As for the other things I've learned to believe but that have no direct proof or validation besides the words of another, it makes no difference unless it is true. There are so many things that are half-truths and down-right lies that only serve to muddy the waters, so to speak. It is best to stick to basics, the things that are known with certainty.
It may be that faith is a necessary part of existence.
If so, I wonder what God has faith in?

Interesting resolution, I wouldn't have thought you would have to give up a belief in God to fulfill it. It's self evident to me (and you) that there is a God.

Maybe you should go easier on yourself and simply give up the belief that you know who God is (in essence), without giving up the belief in God as existing, thus opening yourself up to new possibilities in your comprehension of God, and allowing for some possible surprises.

Just a thought (with my best of intentions).

I may join you in your resolution for the new year. It seems to me like a liberating exercise to re-build your belief system from the bottom up, based only on your experience of what is. Although I think that perhaps subjective experience should be given at least equal value to objective experience, because let's face it, no-one knows anything with absolute certainty (in a scientific sense), but I think that the heart knows all.(Sorry if I'm rambling and talking nonsense here)

The issue is that a deer or other woodland creature can be completely frozen, physically, in place, via the use of a bright light. We even have a name for it. We say, 'like a deer in the headlights'.



This is due to the origins of how vision works and how this connects to the primitive hindbrain. We are all descended from a reptilian fundamental, so all the mammals have this in common. The trick, is what does it take to do it to a human and what else can be done, via that channel?

Light contrasting sensors, then the eye began to develop, or was the next development from that. Then color, then high resolution and so on. But first, the contrast sensing in the intake of photons of light. (thermal?)

And that the early predator vision was designed to see movement. That the same was true for the preyed upon. Note how the rabbit sits in the field and eats the grass without any physical motion. Attention type 'observation mode. Pure reptilian hindbrain, it is. And the fact that a person, a human can stare at one single spot, for about 10 minutes..and due to the lack of change, their entire view will slowly....'fuzz out'..into a blank greyish/bluish whiteness (try it, right now, it begins in the first minute or less-perfect stillness and time leads to a full blanking). We fill in the blankness of the blindspot, with data that is not there, the human eye adjusts to the 3d visual ghosting by eliminating it, and that we edit out the motes in our eyes..and we edit out the pulsing veins in the back of our eyeballs.

And this article, this recent article (in the link) shows how we are doing in this regard..mentally. And if it is indeed that we have our hindbrain thus ego function as the canvas upon which the consciousness is drawn, in both directions, then one can see how this will be an issue, if people are not aware of it.

As for starting with a blank page, that was called the scientific revolution. it killed god and did not bring anything useful along with it. it threw away the baby with the bathwater. This is why I so love this thread...this Village...this family...

we're living the Here and Now helping each other...when one falls or hurts, another is there to help lift him/her up and walk together for a while.

Missing you all...only a few more days and things get back to normal...yay! Booked straight through New Years...then...nothing for a while. Think I'll sleep for a week.

Although I have a pair of high forest Green Uggs, which I wore yesterday because of snowfall, I am not wearing Uggs. I am wearing hand made footwear that I bartered massages for. They are made of moose. I'm sire Paula will provide the Moose energy for us.

They were made by first taking a mold of my foot. They are special and I wear them for stage, magical or Renaissance affairs. Interestingly enough O bought the Uggs from the shoe store (IN Woodstock NY) that the woman worked out of. She ended up marrying the proprietor and then becoming a massage therapist herself.
