No one wants to loose their place in the pecking order - they just want those above them removed, as if they, themselves personally, had nothing to do with the problem and should therefore not have to suffer. We wish to inflict suffering, perhaps not only financially, upon those we feel abused their power

We all certainly are complicit. Lazy. Ignorant. All to a degree, but yes it is true that our current situation could not have happened without our assistance. However, at this point I believe we need to keep our focus on a plan and strategy out of this situation - and promise ourselves to revisit this critical piece of our history - so that we never allow it to happen again.

The Reset Button is something new. It leverages our greatest value to mega-corporate America (labor and compliance), plus pulling the linchpin from the J.I.T. manufacturing and distribution systems - in effect crippling the giant as much as we are capable. This, in itself, as a "punishment" would be an extremely weak move, but coupled with the demand for one law and one amendment (the keys to self-governance), it would be the most powerful strategy we are capable of unleashing. Heads of corporations are so well insulated that nothing we the mass of citizens can do can affect their personal lives, but if they want to save their corporate empires, they will be forced to comply with our demand.

There is more detail (much more) in The Reset Button document, but our only pathway to enact "Election Reform" (electoral transformation) is by engaging in (economic and labor) battle with the corporate sponsors of the [s]elected officials.

We cannot ask those in power for free energy. We cannot demand it. Well, we can, but only if we want to hear their laughter.

In every process there are steps; in every journey there is a very first step. Going after free energy - while monsters rule - is the same as going after universal health care, the end of the war paradigm, the end of poverty, the end of GMOs... or any other major change. "They" won't give it to us; we must give it to ourselves - and to do that, we must control our own governance. Activists and those passionate about change must learn not to hack at branches but rather at the root.

In a way, Gripreaper and I are saying the same thing: rule yourself. However, in addition to becoming as self-sustaining and community-sustaining as possible (the bottom-up approach), I feel we as a society must take the additional steps to rule ourselves from the top down too - and the only way to do that wisely and healthfully is to replace ALL of the minions of corporatocracy with ordinary citizens that are not part of the corporatocracy.

Totally agree with you Dennis, about both the bottom up and top down approaches need to be implemented in tandem. We've talked about this before. The reason I emphasize the bottom up approach, is because; Unless and until we get our own fiscal houses in order, we will not have the strength to sustain the top down approach, should it become necessary to dismantle the current infrastructure to do so.

I realize your Reset Button is a peaceful solution, which requires a mass awakening and a collective effort to unseat the psychopaths and replace them with empathic souls. I'm all for it.

I'll stop there. That list is big enough. One item (any one item) on that list is enough to tell me that I cannot isolate and do my part alone and in obscurity - I HAVE to try to rally others into a mass movement.

Ok. spent my morning reading the Reset Button.
I love it! It's just about perfect.

But getting people to just agree that this is what needs to be done is not enough. We need to create a movement that will put this in petition form before the US governement. This endeavor may take some years. The petition may have to be resubmitted numerous times... until most of the nation has read it and is on board. It would be a huge endeavor for sure. But so much work has already been put into it why stop now? and why not put it in a form that takes it directly to our government?

Here are a couple of ideas for moving the Reset Button forward.

Prepare the material into petition form
Select a Launch Date with various Avelon or other folks selected to handle various networking aspects

Take document one and do some editing to change the date to current
and form it into a petition.
provide link to the full document (that does have updated dates to make it current)

Place the petition on various websites with a link to send people to the US gov. peition website where it can be signed and submitted to the white house when it has received the requried 25,000 signatures within one month. When it has received these signatures a white house review has been promised.

Stratigically select websites to host the petition with the link to the signing at the gov. website
Ask Bill Ryan to help us get it to more promenent websites though his connections - if he be willing

On this page phase one is written into petition form. Phase two will be noted as the further option for consideration but is not part of the petition... the whole goal is to create an ammendment where corporations are thrown out of the voting system and regular people are elected with a specific mandate to solve specific problems. But give the potential petitioner signers to see the whole agenda.

It seems to me that in order for this RESET to occur it must be petitioned for an ammendment and it must be voted on. No? How else on gods good earth could it occur witout burning down the capitol? and we absolutley dont want that!

I have no doubt that there are a multitude of other possibilites yet to be revealed by folks here.

If i may here......Just this thread alone is creating a consciousness towards the universal field concerning its topic. Our Intent to the universe is captivating in itself. We are sending out the signals, one frequency at a time. As we are all energy. The more frequencys released the more attention will be heard. I do firmly believe this compassionate universe is listening to our intent. The universe doesnt lie. And the symphony is being performed. Some say the human thoughts are incredible and can create magik and results. Be careful what you wish for. As our dreams could become our reality. The reset button idea impresses me. Dennis has some great insight here. Although to some it may seem impossible to break down the infrastructure that strengthened it by greed, corruption and lobbyism poisons. I think it is possible to have rome fall once again. The declaration of independence is the key here.....for the people by the people. How do we accomplish this? Awareness. Once it becomes aware to the masses. Then maybe we can all see our corrupted society through a halographic state. And the tilted game will become level. Im not sure if they can hide behind these false agendas much longer. Its starting to become revealed and exposed. The gorilla in the corner cannot hide much longer. Especially if hes defecating in the room and on himself. People are starting to see and smell the foul odor.

Thanks Arrowwind, great Tread, the optimal challenge that members here may foment to facilitate small changes within corporations, government for the betterment of all.

First, we are in a systemic society were all is planned, organized, controled, and changed in interactions (not always along official guidelines (black economy, Mafia, others)) with all the stakeholders (consumers, shareholder, producers, banks, etc). Now if we ''Break the Backs of Corporations'', we need to have a plan such that all of us won't suffer less.

As we know, we are caught up by indebtness, a family is caught up pretty early in their life such that the members of a family are not able to contribute to a continuous strike, or don't buy certain products or some other presssure actions.

So my guess is that maybe we should start by planning what actions would bring changes within corporations, government such that it would bring a World Objective that Nature is sacred, that People are sacred, that Water, Air are sacred and that corporations, governments should act accordingly.

How may we go about doing this, I think Arrowwind that your idea of a petition has it' values, but will it bring in what we think should be accomplished?, only time will tell, and who would be responsible to get it done and do the groundwork on this? Interesting questions!

If we could gather together a few savoy and even not so savy computer and internet useers we could bust this wide open in multifaceted directions across the blogosphere, the forum networks, into magazines and even on to mainstream media regardless of their wishes. It will take some time, but I do think, minimal cash, beings that the internet is still free.

I suggest that people start collecting up in thier minds or on their PCs links to sites than can and will help promote this. Every site is a potential. Every link a link to a person who will say

Capital, or public debt instruments, or "promises to pay" enter commerce through the Federally chartered Federal Reserve System, and interest is to be paid to this private cartel on all new "promises to pay". From there, the velocity and movement of these debt instruments is "clipped" with taxes and fees, and pieces are removed from commerce, adding more pressure to the energy of exchange. Governments are totally complicit in this fraud.

Now, slow down the entrance of these instruments into commerce, while at the same time slowing down the velocity of the remaining instruments, and you have a ready made consolidation of power right into the hands of the 1/10th of 1% at the top.

Conversely, even while massive amounts of promises to pay are entering commerce and their appears to be enough in circulation, and the velocity is moving fairly fast, the upstream flow into the 1/10th of 1% is somewhere around 80%, and the increase in GDP cannot keep up. Even as we attempt to service this debt through value added to the economy, the energy of this is being siphoned off much quicker than we can overcome it.

Even so, we continue to embrace a culture of competition, capitalism, imperialism, narcissism, and raping and pillaging our planet to service this debt. Whether we are being put into debt during expansion, or being pushed into bankruptcy through contraction, the banksters win and we lose. The game is rigged and cannot be fixed.

The introduction of the petrodollar about 70 years ago, which just so happens to coincide with the first Bilderberger meeting, which just happens to coincide with the beginning of the underground economy and black ops projects, which just happens to coincide with Roswell and other such anomalies, coincidentally, this petrodollar has completely siphoned off all of the resources and natural assets of this planet, leaving nothing but debt and worthless paper in it's wake. The whole world is tied to this worthless paper.

All of the power of the corporations is held by the same cartel who hold the purse strings, all the good land, all the media, and all of the natural resources and precious metals. They own all governments (except for two more rogue countries who are under pressure) and the greatest global paid mercenary military imperialist bully force on the planet, the US military. They feed us smokescreens like "nationalism" and "representative government" and "freedom" and "liberty" and "sovereignty" when if fact, they have no such notions in their worldview. That's just for us to give us the allusion that we are free, when in fact, we are inches away from a fully functioning global fascist oligarchical dictatorship like this planet has not seen in 26,000 years since the fall of Atlantis.

If we view our world as nation states, with representative government, sound currencies, unbiased media, asset ownership, stock ownership in the wheels of production, or any other such filters from which to create a context, then we are just as they think we are, a bunch of stupid sheep who need to be led around on their plantation as slaves.

What we do have, as many here at Avalon are aware of, is the ability to go within and be at our core with our own truth, and bring it forward in whatever way we can. We can take the "promises to pay" we are given to pass through commerce, and decide which direction we will send them, and through who. Even though ownership is a fallacy, we can exchange those debt instrument for some tangible items to at least give ourselves some degree of distance from being a fully indentured slave, to at least give us some space to at least contemplate the deeper energetic constructs holding the slave matrix in place.

How else will we be able to bring enough energy to bear, in order to change the outcome? If I am starving, or working my ass off every day to service debt and pay my bills, or I am too tired to do anything, and cannot take the time to detox, meditate, grow my cells in my cerebrum (higher mind) and contemplate how I might contribute to a new paradigm based on entirely new concepts, then how will I be able to bring my A game to the table?

This new year can definitely be a pivotal year, and my resolve has been solidified with the blatant and arrogant display of ritual child sacrifice put out into the collective right before Christmas, and the resultant vamping of the collective energy. The Archon's are pulling out all the stops, could care less if they are no longer covert, are blatantly overt, and could care less about the planet, it's inhabitants, or the state of any such notions we empathic souls hold reverent.

It is incumbent upon us who are aware and awake, who understand how the matrix of energy works, have the wherewithal to effect an outcome other than the one the Archons have planned for us, to set up the catalyst and the inertia to move the initial energy in the direction we want it to go. Once we get some inertia going, which I think we have, we have the power to bring in a new paradigm.

I just don't buy that the "jig is up" and the Archon's won. It's never over till it's over, even if that means this incarnation of mine is terminated or somehow ends, it's just one and it's just one form in a universe of form and formlessness. It's just never over until we return to wholeness and are "at one" once again.

I agree with all that you have said. Are you of the opinion that we are still in the informative stage? When do we shift gears into action, making the dream of freedom a reality?

What initial move could free us up the most, enlighten the most people do you think? I view Occupy Wall Street as a cooped event that has no real direction., although it did serve to awaken some. .. and to annoy and frustrate others.. Clearly it showed us that the police will not tolerate that system of protest much longer.

Well Arrowwind, I shared some ideas on the matter.

The debts that people suffer to satiate the pigs at the top of the 1% does affect the psyche and prevent people from making a move. It is very difficult if you are responsible for children and paying for some kind of education that will keep your children off the streets. The fear is immense and it holds many back from doing what needs to be done. But if the ideologies of freedom continue to move forward, and a call for real government by the people for the people continues I believe things could come to a head and that change will come.

We must develop a form of resistence that does not put us in jail or concentration camps. We will never be free if we are in prison... hey, a real no brainer there.

It has merit, based on certain parameters:

It is a first step, one which can be easily grasped by the collective within the context of the current paradigm. Like Dennis has so eloquently stated, we need to start somewhere which can bring some pressure to bear on the narcissism which has engulfed this planet. The only thing a narcissist understands is their own personal aggrandizement, and that is where we need to hit them, right in their own pocketbook.

They need our participation in order for the corporatocracy to succeed. We buy their products and work in their slave machine. To extricate ourselves as much as possible, to continue to speak our truth to all we come in contact with, severs this participation and expands it's scope.

Otherwise we will have to send in Fulford's ninja's, or Drake to take out these elite, or get our ET friends to do it (just being facetious)

Very quickly, I never meant my previous post to be considered an attack on The Reset Button, which is a good idea and a great place to start.

I was trying to add a larger dimension, or perhaps a direction to the endeavor. Sort of like a guiding star of what's possible. We already know what's at stake...

We might not know what is possible if we are successful, and wring our hands at the prospect of voting all our leaders out of office at the same time.

They could cause a lot of havoc on the way out.

I was trying to put emphasis on the stakes, on why it is worth effecting change regardless of the short-term ramifications.

Also, I guess I failed to recognize where we went from suggestions to ramping up The Reset Button strategy. Sorry, it wasn't mentioned in the op and I missed the fork in the convo.

26 Major Corporations Paid No Corporate Income Tax For The Last Four Years, Despite Making Billions In Profits

Last year, Citizens for Tax Justice found that 30 major corporations had made billions of dollars in profits while paying no federal income tax between 2008 and 2010. Today, CTJ updated that report to reflect the 2011 tax bill of those 30 companies, and 26 of them have still managed to pay absolutely nothing over that four year period:

– 26 of the 30 companies continued to enjoy negative federal income tax rates. That means they still made more money after tax than before tax over the four years!
– Of the remaining four companies, three paid four year effective tax rates of less than 4 percent
(specifically, 0.2%, 2.0% and 3.8%). One company paid a 2008-11 tax rate of 10.9 percent.
– In total, 2008-11 federal income taxes for the 30 companies remained negative, despite $205 billion in pretax U.S. profits. Overall, they enjoyed an average effective federal income tax rate of –3.1 percent over the four years.

Amongst the 30 are corporate titans such as General Electric, Boeing, Verizon, and Mattel. The only four companies that slipped into positive tax territory were DTE Energy, Honeywell, Wells Fargo, and DuPont, with DuPont the only one that paid more than 4 percent over the four years.

Corporate taxes in the U.S., contrary to the constant protestations of conservatives, are at a 40 year low, with many of the most profitable companies paying nothing at all. CTJ noted that “had these 30 companies paid the full 35 percent corporate tax rate over the 2008-11 period, they would have paid $78.3 billion more in federal income taxes.” And this is not a problem that only afflicts the U.S., as the UK found out last week that online retailer Amazon made billions in sales in 2011, while paying nothing in corporate taxes.

1) Exxon Mobil made $19 billion in profits in 2009. Exxon not only paid no federal income taxes, it actually received a $156 million rebate from the IRS, according to its SEC filings.

2) Bank of America received a $1.9 billion tax refund from the IRS last year, although it made $4.4 billion in profits and received a bailout from the Federal Reserve and the Treasury Department of nearly $1 trillion.

3) Over the past five years, while General Electric made $26 billion in profits in the United States, it received a $4.1 billion refund from the IRS.

4) Chevron received a $19 million refund from the IRS last year after it made $10 billion in profits in 2009.

5) Boeing, which received a $30 billion contract from the Pentagon to build 179 airborne tankers, got a $124 million refund from the IRS last year.

6) Valero Energy, the 25th largest company in America with $68 billion in sales last year received a $157 million tax refund check from the IRS and, over the past three years, it received a $134 million tax break from the oil and gas manufacturing tax deduction.

7) Goldman Sachs in 2008 only paid 1.1 percent of its income in taxes even though it earned a profit of $2.3 billion and received an almost $800 billion from the Federal Reserve and U.S. Treasury Department.

8) Citigroup last year made more than $4 billion in profits but paid no federal income taxes. It received a $2.5 trillion bailout from the Federal Reserve and U.S. Treasury.

9) ConocoPhillips, the fifth largest oil company in the United States, made $16 billion in profits from 2007 through 2009, but received $451 million in tax breaks through the oil and gas manufacturing deduction.

10) Over the past five years, Carnival Cruise Lines made more than $11 billion in profits, but its federal income tax rate during those years was just 1.1 percent.

Thanks for your energy, excitement, and encouragement, Arrowwind.

If I seem to repeat myself here, I apologise, as I'm not sure how well articulated some of the concepts are. The goal seems to be coming through loud and clear (a literal "government of the people, by the people, and for the people", composed of ordinary people elected by ordinary people.)

The plan appears to be coming through as well: one amendment, plus one law (legislation fully written out, in The Reset Button document) - these are what the ordinary citizens need to remove the Financial Elite's/Big Money's control over elections, and give ordinary citizens control over elections for the first time ever.

The strategy must not be articulated very well. A petition will not work. It will be ignored. This cannot be handled as a petition.

Every activist and activist organization makes this mistake: they assume citizens will never be in control, that Big Money and the representatives that they bought will always be in power. They present their demands just as if they are saying...

"You who are in power and always will be, we the people demand that you do this: ____________"

That honestly seems to be the current template used by all activists. And, it's not working.

The brilliant writer Chris Hedges said that he believes the last trime politicians listened to public opinion/polls/petitions/protest was Nixon, about the Vietnam war, in the early 1970s. I personally believe Chris is incorrect about this; it's even worse than that. At best, the war was stopped a tiny bit earlier than they had originally planned - but that just meant the next armed conflict had to be started a bit earlier. That's how a war economy runs.

No one is listening to the voices of citizens - they simply ignore all citizen noise.

The strategy of The Reset Button circumvents the politicians, recognizing them as "hired guns", and goes instead directly at their sponsors.

That is a new strategy.

The mega-corporations, international banks, and a few oligarchs gave the politicians their positions. Literally. They used the organizations that they control (the D and R political parties), to pre-select individuals that had already bought-into the corporatocracy and would uphold and defend the agenda of the corporatocracy. It was really a brilliant move on the part of the Ultra-Rich, and it worked nearly 100% of the time (or a handful of citizen advocates may be allowed into the mix deliberately, so that we have a Bernie Sanders or a Ron Paul screaming for sanity and it acts as a pressure relief valve in society.)

The system (including the complete control of media/propaganda) makes it impossible for the minions of corporatocracy to ever be displaced by elections. The only people that can cause the system to be changed (mandating that only ordinary citizens be eligible to be elected) are the Financial Elite.

The only reason thay will do it is if forced. The only way to force them is in an economic war. A nationwide general strike is by far our most powerful weapon in an economic war. If the Financial Elite understand that they are on the brink of losing everything - losing their corporate empires due to a national strike that will not end until the one amendment and one law are passed - they will use their power to make it happen.

The strategy starts with the creation of one law and one amendment, necessary to remove all of the mechanisms used by the Financial Elite to control US elections. The law and amendment create fair and honest elections and prevent money influence. Because corporations will fight to retain full control of elections, the corporate-controlled politicians will not want to pass this law and ratify this amendment. It will require US citizens shutting down the major corporations, to force the politicians to enact the law and amendment we need.
