Default Receding hairline (is there a remedy?)

Is there such thing as a way to restore hair loss?
Suddenly my hair line went crazy receding fast. I've always had great hair until a few months ago. I can't think of any change that I did, same diet etc. I know, it's male pattern hair loss but if healthy otherwise, why?

Or at least a way to hang on to what I have. I've seen advertisements but I have never seen anyone show that they regrew hair after it went except when they had a serious illness.
There may be some natural remedy. So if any one out there knows of a treatment please let me know.
I know, people say it's old age but if that was the case every old person would be bald.
Hereditary? It might be but I feel like there has to be a physical process that takes place that could be stopped.
    Wishful thinking perhaps.

I use a German Shampoo called Alpecin which is good. Not sure if it available in the States though.

I have read that drinking distilled water will regrow hair and also reverse greying!! will let you know if that's true, just started with my husband a few weeks ago, haven't quite made it to the 4-6 litres a day yet but getting there.

I have been drinking distilled water for a few months but only a few glasses per day.
4 to 6 liters a day is a lot but I'll give it a try.

Please do let me know, Earth Angel.

Perhaps you have aggravated a mineral deficiency?

I add potassium bicarbonate, Himalayan pink salt, fulvic ionic minerals and Willards water to my distilled water.

my dog is going bald, he is 8 and its been slowly getting worse for the past 5 years at least......I am giving him distilled water now as well, hoping it might reverse the balding.....he has to wear a winter coat now to go to the dog park......I always thought people with dog coats were silly (unless they were tiny dogs who seem to feel the cold) but now I can't go out without putting a coat on him ...... he does look handsome though lol

The laser hair brushes are supposed to be effective. They were around $600, but have come down to around $300.

I do think a genetic propensity for baldness may be hard to overcome. Good luck for sure!

Modwiz has a method that is interesting & he says worked for him well:

    Quote Posted by modwiz (here)
I am aware and have used the doctrine of signature for over 20 years now. When my hair was thinning I looked at the yarrow plant and the leaf had a hair-like appearance. So I used a decoction of the leaf as well as the seed heads (head) to use as a rinse. Not only did my hair restore it also thicked. My wife had thinning hair and it worked for her too. I briefly apprenticed with a cabinet maker who had lost most of his hair and I made some up for him and his head started to get fuzzy again, It was clear to see and his wife, who cut his hair on the sides of his head, also commented on the new growth. I was too zen a worker for him and he let me go. He did not stay in touch for the 'mix'.

My recipe is a strong tea of the leaves and seed heads. Both or either seem to work. I then mix that 50/50 with witch hazel. Witch hazel has a scalp stimulating property of its own. The most potent use is to mix the witch hazel/yarrow batch 50/50 with shampoo. It makes the shampoo thin, but they are too thick to begin with, I jigger the shampoo directly onto my hair until a suitable lather has formed. After the shampoo is out of my hair I then use the yarrow/WH blend as a rinse. If you use conditioner put that in while the rinse is in your hair. Make sure to work the blend into your scalp. Rinse it out and you are done.

If you find it works for you and you have a marketing head. Send me a few dollars after your first million.

Yarrow is one herb that revealed itself to me via the DOS method.

Hey TargeT, did you notice that original post from Modwiz was a year ago tomorrow! at first I thought he was posting in the future lol.....forget it is 2013~
I wonder do you have to keep using this method to keep the hair growth, also where would one find this Yarrow plant??

I found every thing he listed at a local health food store, they have all kinds of different herbs there.

from my understanding he uses it still, or at the very least used it for a long time which possibly makes it a "rogaine"-esk cure; something that works only as long as you keep using it; but I could be mistaken I didn't get any follow up information just remembered the post

The best herb I know about for restoring hair growth is "horsetail".

Horsetail is to be taken as a tea, about 3 cups per day, and to rinse one's hair with after washing.

I know it sounds like a bit of a pain to have horsetail tea set aside to rinse one's hair with, but I have a friend who was losing her hair and this regimen of taking the herb internally and to rinse her hair with, stopped the hair loss and eventually helped hair growth. She's thrilled with the results.

Of course, good nutrition and high quality supplements are a must for any condition.

oh Christ, East Sun...ive been thru this hell too; i truly sympathize. Bill Ryan has too..why do you think he wears that bloody hat all the time? shave the locks Bill, for crying out loud! it's time! you'll feel better, mate! trust me!

first off, Modwiz, my friend, make me some of that sh#t, will you? i'll happily pay for the product and the shipping! i'll even include a nice tip. i'll pm you.

we may have to take this to pm east sun, as i have so much to say on the topic (what worked, what didn't, the small fortune i spent while desperately seeking the remedy etc...)

ok, that commercial where the guy gets the fake hair and suddenly he's emerging from pools in slow motion and taking long walks on the beach with his new supermodel girlfriend..forget it! for the price of an average 4 door sedan you're basically getting a glorified toupee. and the plugs..huge mistake. it's just not feasible to create a head of hair with that small donor area in back; i don't care what they say. i've seen men that have had this done, and my bloody pubic hair is thicker, ok? and if you see a product that presents before n afters that resemble, say, Shaquille O'Neil in the 'before' and Punky Brewster in the 'after'...run! ive seen a few that were in black in white too, resembling a 1950's slide show or something...and i'd *still* try to rationalize purchasing the stuff. don't let desperation make your decisions for you.

also, propecia...shi#ty thing about this is that before you do anything you have to announce to 3 or 4 strangers what's ailing you: there's the receptionist, nurse, doctor, pharm assistant, pharmacist...it's bloody humiliating! ha! you haven't even gotten started and some young punk is graffii'ing your personal problems across buildings and highway ramps everywhere

ive tried rogaine too..even went to wallmart right upon opening cuz i was so f#cking embarrassed to wait in a line with the stuff (i was 21 when this all started). christ, sometimes i'd buy a completely non-related item, like candy bar or something, hoping the cashier would think i was there for the early morning sugar fix and might regard the rogaine as a spontaneous afterthought, ha! anyway, it didn't work. it left me with a flaky, inflamed scalp. after 3 months it appeared as if i'd stood at the equator the entire time, intentionally aiming my scalp at the noon-time sun.

so much more to say on this East Sun. pm me if you want to know of my experiences, ok mate?

The yarrow and witch hazel treatment has worked for me, my wife and a man I worked for. He fired me ( woodworking, I worked too slow and zen like) before buying his second batch. He kept his hair very short but it was obvious that it was filling in. His wife, who cut his hair, had commented on it also. She thought he was silly for thinking it would work. I have come up with a number of remedies, including sunburn treatment. All of these treatments are made by hand. Like making a homemade pie. Some people have comment I could make a lot of money making this. Money does not move me. Especially being able to see what would be involved in keeping up with production of something popular. The is also The pharmaceutical industry who thinks they own these matters and their well paid gestapo in DC.

I make a strong tea of yarrow. I have no particular measurement, I make it strong. This is much more about vibration and informational packets than dosage. One the teas is made I strain it and then make a 50/50 yarrow/witch hazel mixture. I then put in into a bottle like a shampoo one with one of those flip top tyoe dispensers. After shampooing and before conditioning, if you do, I jigger the HairBThere onto my hair/scalp and then work it in. Yarrow will thicken existing hair slightly and make it fuller. Yarrow grows in many places. I like to combine leaves and flower heads. The flower heads have are rich in essentials oils. You can refrigerate your stock if you have more than fits into your dispenser bottle. In the warth of the shower area the mixture will usually ferment in a way that adds a vinegary scent to it. I find this actually enhances it. Skin has a slightly acidic pH and the light acetic touch is helpful to that end.

Any further questions on this please PM me. Or skype me. My skype contact is under my avatar. O see my PM's more. I only open my skype once a day...........sometimes. LOL

Hair? I say let it go and go with the flow. Although that natural remedy made out a favorite plant -yarrow- does sound intriguing, thanks Modwiz.

However, soft hands gliding across my 1/8" to 1/4" buzz cut .....er......well you know

Default Re: Receding hairline (is there a remedy?)

normally its genetic, however it could be a hormone imbalance, so i would recommend to either, 1, shave your head, 2, buy whatever product that people would recommend, the only thing is your going to have to continue to use it, 3, plat alot of willy nelson songs to make you feel good, haha, just kidding bro, if its a hormone thing, try a little bit on tong kat ali, its a herb, or ginseng , both will help the levels of cortisone in your system, you need to lower your levels as a man to continue functioning properly, if you dont know if your levels are low just wait till the morning and see if you have a small surprise, haha i love having fun, take care,
