    Hi Ulli
    Wakey-wakey USA!
I'm feeling a bit off colour right now, and trying to get some work done all the same. Keep away from my germs just in case.

That multitasking sungazer of a formic weightlifter is pretty interesting (another entry in your Captain's Log I take it ).
Could do with some of that sun around here, but maybe someone should tell that ant it's not a log fire?

7 am here, according to the cuckoo clock in the living room,
(a made in China version, which runs with a battery)
and as of today the year 2013 has finally arrived.
Quite a few workers were on vacation until now.
I really ought to think hard about what to do with myself...
With the Christmas season over there is no point now making more trinket jewelry,
And that first item on eBay has not had any views, nor bids.
Have any Villagers had luck selling things on eBay?
I have 4 websites to build, pronto. And a guitar. I will be very ghost-like for the next few weeks. Continuous and constant love being beamed out, though, so stay receptive!

p.s. Ulli, what's your eBay name? (so we can look at your stuff for sale, and oooh and aaaah.)

Weird this B minor thing. Over the weekend I downloaded a couple more Scarlatti sonatas I had been intending to look at for years – both in B minor, one of them following another in the same key which I also downloaded. So now I have four out of three in this key Scarlatti composed over 550 sonatas, so I think this is saying more about me than about him. Many of them are tinkly things for sewing-machine I call them.

Minor keys are more interesting (did Modwiz say ‘moody’?), mainly because they go places major keys don’t bother with. C major for instance is mostly interested only in the white notes (on the piano) or the black notes (on the harpsichord), whereas a minor key will explore the intricacies of both. So there are perhaps more spiritual and more conspiratorial – connecting dots between everyday reality and black ops and white ops?

No no no...that log is not a log at all.
It is a column, with which to build a temple. First it has to be carved a bit, as in decorated.

It will be modern day version of the Temple of Athena, at Delphi, Greece.
    To house the new Oracle.

Been dealing with the emotional fallout of my babe’s beloved cuzzie getting ready for her mastectomy (going on right now, I think).

All weekend driving around damaged women in their late 30’s teetering on the verge of emotional breakdown, doing my best to point each time one of the “best friends” is dumping their emotions on the poor woman who has to go through it, making sure that they know she has enough to worry about—what you are doing is making HER responsible for YOUR feelings…grow up and stop doing that please.

Easy enough to do during the day time….I didn't mind listening and counseling and helping all day Sat...but after hours of self-medicating (drinking), my patience wears thin—as does their emotional strength…not a good combo, but worked out in the end. Hopefully we all learned something, got a little stronger, go into this with a little less fear. WHo knows, seems like most are just addicted to it, living without fear is just not living to them...ugh.

Pray for cuzzie please…maybe once she recovers she’ll actually read the email I sent her suggesting she check out MMS...

Conspiratorial....brilliant! I just connected conspiracy with Neptune...and got a major AHA!
Spirit and all those other terms that pertain to what is elusive-
whether fragrance or odor, whether spirit or ghost,
    sirens, trolls, fairies,
    whether angels or demons,
    even genies and geniuses,
all come under the planet Neptune's rulership in astrology.

And Neptune rules Pisces, people born Feb/March, and who walk with one foot in the next dimension, the one where all those neptunian things congregate, the good, the bad and the ugly.

Amazing how much a few kind words of approval can do to one's energy.
I'm actually all excited right now and ready to put up more stuff.
And it is so easy to do.
    I used my iPad3 as a camera,
and a sofa pillow as background.
I have about twelve more of those sets, of the 24 I made for the Christmas season only half sold.
The price is low as here in Costa Rica one can't sell if it were any higher.
But then I can get the materials wholesale, and very reasonable.
All have different color and texture combinations, of which the more neutral ones with silver tones sold first.

Here is a bracelet...something for someone younger...just to show that I can design for all ages...and that there is endless variety.

I think you interpreted it correctly. Moody, as in different sorts of shading. Walking into a forest, especially a very wooded or piney forest would require the mood of some minor chords at least. They are reflective and more inward looking than the major chords/keys, which or characteristically optimistic and extrovert.

Sold...not that I was solicited in ANY way...I recognize that you were sharing your art, speaks to me in a way that I HAVE to have it...

Charms you chose are TOO synchronistic...beyond anything I could have found for perfect V-day gift for my babe...

With the Christmas season over there is no point now making more trinket jewelry,
And that first item on eBay has not had any views, nor bids.
Have any Villagers had luck selling things on eBay?
...Continuous and constant love being beamed out, though, so stay receptive!

p.s. Ulli, what's your eBay name? (so we can look at your stuff for sale, and oooh and aaaah.)
Here is the one and only item I have placed so far. Hopefully there will be more soon, that is, if I don't get too discouraged by the lack of response, which unfortunately is always a possibility with me.
Having been successful in my early twenties set me up for always expecting instant results, which is not a good thing for someone trying to develop patience. Or maybe it is? Scratch head....
    Ebay name is ullaheathcote

I put in a bid for $10, which would be embarrassingly low, but thought I'd get the bidding started..then, I realized it was still at your $0.99 starting bid, and it took that as a maximum from me.

I don't want to "win" that for .99 cents - it would be ripping you off! C'mon Village, overbid me!

It really is beautiful, Ulli. My wife and would love it. My daughter will laugh because I have pointed out numerous times in artwork where the color theme is reminiscent of the seashore: blue (water) and brown (sand) theme. If I tell her one more time it is my favorite color combo, she's going to kick sand on me and throw me in the ocean.

Nice choice of beads - I like the crackly or needle-included ones - almost looks like rutile needles.

It would probably be less expensive to buy jewelry from you, for my wife, rather than thousands of beads, string, wire, nylon line, tiger tail, clasps, posts, a dozen different beading and crimping pliers, beading books, beading boards... but I have already gone the more expensive route. (Of course, as you know, she gets a lot out of it - in addition to necklaces and bracelets and earrings.)

    Dennis

Conspiratorial....brilliant! I just connected conspiracy with Neptune...and got a major AHA!
Spirit and all those other terms that pertain to what is elusive-
whether fragrance or odor, whether spirit or ghost,
    sirens, trolls, fairies,
    whether angels or demons,
    even genies and geniuses,
all come under the planet Neptune's rulership in astrology.

And Neptune rules Pisces, people born Feb/March, and who walk with one foot in the next dimension, the one where all those neptunian things congregate, the good, the bad and the ugly.
Somehow I always knew that...the good can simply turn the tide on the bad and ugly and transform it to a b-ugly thing that is but a pest...and shoooawayable!
