Thanks too, for your generous sharing of knowledge on wide range of topics. Some I was unaware of, such as your “Breatharianism, and living on Prana: a how-to guide” thread. It’s pique my curiosity, though I'm not ready to commit.

A couple of times, I watched your favorite movie from WhiteFeather’s “Five Star Movies On Avalon” thread called: “The Man Who Planted Trees”. It’s another example of something I wouldn’t have found. It’s now on my top 5 movies list.

Gooooooooood Morning

All my babies are neatly tucked in at school. Ahhhhhhhhh. My nerves are shot, emotions raw. And my sense of relief is through the roof.

Lord (Whoever), please be with Mrs. Hamm today, that she have wisdom and compassion with this little soul entrusted to her. He needs a place in this world to call his own, where he belongs and is safe, where he is nurtured and discovers the joy of learning, where he makes friends who know alternatives to bullying, where the adults instill respect and manners, where the big people see the importance of self-discipline rather than punishment, where he can thrive.

Angels, please disburse to those in sorrow, in ill health, that they may feel your comfort, love, and healing on all levels and for the highest good of All.

Now. I have so many things to do, I doubt I can count them. It would take me longer to count to a kazillion than carry out the kazillion tasks. Here and Now, right this moment, I am going to sit my butt on the couch and not move. I'm waiting for the repair man to come fix my washer, broken for a week. I could go to the laundromat and get back before he comes...or I could just wait. I choose....sit. Wait. Listen to this silence. Let all my emotions settle. Allow all stress be released, and that nervous energy transmuted into light and beauty.

Rainy day here, when it's supposed to be dry season. Not complaining...we like our grass green.

Was thinking about the predator-prey polarity, and how people who have not found the balance between their inner predator or aggressor and their inner prey, or victim, will always find themselves in situations where such scenarios suddenly pop up in their lives, unsettling them.

Usually it happens with those closest to us, who already know us and some of our otherwise hidden traits, which we normally manage to conceal from strangers. Prejudice is nowhere greater than in marriages, since everyone has some habit they cannot seem to drop, which then gets on the partner's nerves. And if one or the other is picky, then fighting such a habit in the partner can become like a Chinese water torture.

This is why I advocate giving one another space, practicing tolerance, allowing people to be who they are, and where they are....since it could take them years to get rid of their minor habitual flaws.

Sooner or later a planetary transit will occur which will then open an inter-dimensional star gate and produce someone who will deal mercilessly with them, and challenge them to drop their flaw, or else.

But at least it won't be me. . since it is not my agenda to challenge or change someone...been there, done that...it no workie when I try.
Don't want to be neither a predator, nor a victim. Just want to share, and if someone can relate and take from it what they find useful, then great.

WCBD, this is what I also see you doing, and even if there is some useful advice in the mix it is fine by me. So please don't worry about sharing your knowledge here. At least you are not doing it in any predatorial manner.

The more us Villagers are aligned in our commitment to pour out our inner stuff without dumping it on others in a forceful manner the more effective we will become in harnessing and redirecting powerful cosmic energies.

Sounds a bit woohoo, I know, but I have seen and felt it work.

Wow ulli, needed that. I had just banged out an email to my girl's sister, stanging up to her bullying and abuse...and letting her know how it's twisting her up, as she loves her family so much.

I was debating sending it directly to her, a semi-selfish act...choosing to protect my woman, cuz I feel the need to--that it is the best decision--regardless of her view and feelings.

You reminded me that the part of this nonsense that effects me (it's my babe, not me, being directly hurt/attacked by those she loves) is nowhere near the effect on her, so I will emulate WCBD (nothing but love and respect girl ) and ask her if I should be dropping my reality on her sis.

I think all of this directly ties into what modwiz was saying too. If we did not live in a culture immersed in nearly every relationship having at least a small element of abuse/control/power trip, life would be much easier. I wish the "default" within society was that OTHER people's feelings were more important than BEING RIGHT...alas, it seems to be the other way around...

The primary male urge. Wars have been started as a result of this.
Situations between siblings can be extra tricky, and usually go back to early childhood patterns which a latecomer like you has no knowledge of.
There might have been rivalries for daddy's love...all sorts of things.

You might be better off by strengthening your woman to stand up for herself, and start addressing her old childhood stuff, than tackling her sister. Please note the word "might", I don't have enough background to assess the big picture properly, but from my experience if one feels the need to interfere at all, it needs to be done in tiny measure, and the closer to home the better.
Maybe your girl felt all her life that daddy wasn't being protective enough, and now the force field which her old childhood needs have generated over the years are sucking you in, and it might not be the best or the only way. Just saying.

Precious gift for your daughter...

Positive role models for our youth are priceless. Erin Janus has the potential to awaken those on the cusp and more. (yeah to 100th monkey) It’s easy to see that she is a natural teacher, who has the gift to translate and inform.

My first semester at college I was a single parent who’d been out of high school for years and going through a divorce. The stress made it hard to concentrate on biology concepts like photosynthesis. So I went to the children's section on campus and followed the pictures and simple sentences and vocabulary. I only needed that one children's book. Just knowing there was a place to go, cleared the space in my head to get on with the newness of college.

We can use more Erin(s) in this simple world made complicate by TPTW.
