Me too again Paula. This is the advice I try to follow myself, so it's likely good for a new member as well. #1 don't insult people of course. And beyond that, if it's something that you have direct experience of in the daily world, or if it's a thought that's coming from your heart that you feel the need to express, then roll with it. And remember, it doesn't matter whether you're a natural born writer or not, lots of people here can "see" the energy and intent behind your words.

On the flip side, if you find yourself keep having to rewrite and reword too much, or your thoughts just aren't flowing right like Paula expressed above, then best just to give it up, and not force it. It's likely left best unsaid, very subtle that.

As an aside, guess what you're doing when you practice this? You're honing your natural born ability of discernment. Learn to trust it, as it will serve you well, maybe even better than you can possibly imagine.
You just made me feel normal. Finally!
I don't know what normal is, but to know others like You do and feel the same,
makes me grounded and Light all at the same time.

It's perfect advice and it's exactly how I see it as well.
    Hearts, Paula

Hi Maroon Lagoon and Padme and thank you both for your wonderful posts. I could relate to both. And thank you WCBD/Paula for just being you. And, while I'm at it, thank you Whitefeather too, for being the first person to extend the hand of friendship to me when I joined. I work graveyard full time and I'm not really a night person. Strangely it's part of the reason I joined because I often have so much time on my hands in the middle of the night (front desk/night audit for local hotel + slow economy = very slow) but a good part of that time I'm not all there I guess you could say. Rarely do I get good quality sleep during the day. But I have to say in the time that I actually joined and started posting occasionally I feel I got to know a little bit some of the most outstanding people one could ever hope for. And I've seen a lot of growth in some. It's refreshing to see so many truly committed to the idea of and learning collectively to build community. To me this is a large part of the answer to many of the problems that collectively plague us. And learning to resolve conflict in some cases too. Fred Steeves, I could relate to your comments as well. But don't get me started here. Besides, Bill Ryan started a thread sometime ago on acknowledgments, which I thought was quite nice as well. I've never been around so many who have been asking the same questions as my self, some for just as long or longer, and that so many have actually been able to help certainly myself start to feel maybe it's not an impossible task after all. For me it's been a burning need to know the truth no matter where it leads and knowing beyond any doubt that almost everything we've been taught to believe is false. This year seems to be boding well so far in that many here are actually picking up steam it almost seems to me, plus a few people in my personal life are starting to show signs of coming to life as well. On that note thanks to the newcomers who are finally dipping their feet into the deep well of Avalon (drink deeply, drink full) and to those who will surely follow.

Best to your book writing, Chinaski. Let us know when you're ready to retire to a life of luxury on your author's royalties and return to the forum full time.

Maroon Lagoon and Padme serve as examples of how it only takes a few to pop-a-wheelie and get it goin’.

I’ll add a link to the “Acknowledgements” thread. For one, it serves to recognize in others what they may not always see in themselves.

Thanks for pointing that out. It can’t be said enough. There are a lot of outstanding people who are committed to knowledge and building community. And another important point, I’ll use your words, learning to resolve conflict. This is a vid from Erin who is one smart young lady. No doubt, she’s changing lives.

Well WCBD, all your post are very well said, personally I do alot more "thanking" than being "thanked" because I read far more than I write, see the great thing about Avalon for me, is I dont have to say much here and when I do, its usually quite short, not on purpose, just many many many people here seem to have a better way of saying things than I do, its not that I feel I cannot contribute, I think I do in a small way, the minds here in some are very strong, fast and accurate with many things in my opinion. So I dont really know what I'm trying to say, but, thanks to all who teach me here in there own unique way.

Funks have their purpose too Annette. I'm sure you'll ride it out with grace, and emerge on the other side all the better from the experience. We all go through them from time to time, and I just went through one not long ago as well. Wishing you well with this one.

Wish I could send you some canned Florida weather for your frozen bones, it was in the 80's here again today...

Quote WhiteCrowBlackDeer: You brightened my day today with an impromptu message.
And knowing you, you shared the brightness with someone else! That is the magic in making loving contact - I smile at someone, it makes them feel good, and they smile at someone, who smiles at someone. It really is very simple, we just need to keep reminding ourselves, especially when we look into all that is ill with this world. Most people are not like the ones who have corrupted the beauty of life on this earth. The world is full of ordinary decent folk who go quietly about the business of being good, and the more love we spread, the more it grows. Simplicity itself - life is beautiful, celebrate!

WhiteCrowBlackDeer, you are one of the Guardian Angels of Avalon and your initiative here is a beautiful one. Two other special beings on here who put out the welcome mat regularly are Fred and Limor. I see, I notice. It is high time that we honoured these members with the lovely manners and big hearts.

Gosh, you remind me and inspire me to reach out more. It doesn't cost anything but a few moments. I know that I was surprised when the first people dropped in on my page to welcome me in November last year - I have not engaged with any of them since but I would like to take the time now to thank them for extending their wishes - because they did make my day.

So .. thank you Centauro and Lord Sidious. Then you were just intriguing names, now I know better! However, I was ever so shy back then and a little overwhelmed by the whole forum system that I did not get stuck back in until february 2012.

Only to find that the kind likes of Limor, Ecnal61, gypsybutterflykiss and Deega
had left me gorgeous birthday wishes in the meantime.

    Greatly appreciated

    Dang, Paula, awesome thread!

I can see you have a lot of love into this already!

Just trying to figure out how we are going to eat our Ben and Jerry's at night and drink our sweet pee in the morning. Just joking. I don't know how you maintain your discipline to do what you do.

As far as losing weight to become a moderator, I don't think that was a qualification. You are beautiful just the way you are! Follow your heart, my dear. You contribute so much on this forum, as it is

    You rock, Lady Zebra!

We’ve got free sets of wings all prepped and ready to go. Take one and pass some along. Plenty where these come from. Need an upgrade? Here help yourself. Big doings everyday the "Bunch of Beauties" that we are.

I see a whole lotta Blessed Ones, who by their very nature bring rhythmic movement, flow, and Light to whomever is in their vicinity. Ripple effect. Boink, boink, here comes another...here these are for You. Take one and pass some along.

Great Beings of Light. Man, I love this place! Alls we have to do is Experience. That’s it. No big secret. Just live what you love. You’ll see all that peace, joy, bliss are not far behind. Experience it. Chuckles, song, Buddha belly laughter, merry-go-rounds, peace pipes (yes, those too, ha!), tree forts, tree houses, kitty cats and puppy dogs, jump rope, hop scotch, bean-bag kerplunks ... Seems like the only problem is how to decide which to do, Now. Tee.

    Hearts and More Hearts,
    WhiteCrowBlackDeer

WOW! Totally agreed, she (WCBD) definitely is an amazing part of this forum, even with her little "trickeries" you're not fooling anyone but yourself, I think even if you literally said the same thing but just jumbled the words around like: I even think you literally said the thing but jumbled just the words around the same That you would still be the pure guardian you are, and you and I dont even talk much, and I still get this from you.

    Hello my Friend, Ol' Roy,

Quote Just trying to figure out how we are going to eat our Ben and Jerry's at night and drink our sweet pee in the morning. Just joking. I don't know how you maintain your discipline to do what you do.
For the new comers, there’s a thread on pee & distilled water (2nd one is my choice) and pineal gland. This is Connecting with Sauce's thread: “Taking the piss: Your own best medicine”. Don't let the title stop you from checking the thread out. Distilled Water is a substitute.

Here’s the video that sold me on the whole process, “Andrew Norton Webber with Lisa Harrison”. There's also info on the cost of machines and links. It’s sigma6's thread, called “Water Of Life - Hidden In Plain Sight”.

24 Doctors speak the truth about Distilled Water: AquariusTheWaterBearer.com

I figure the more good I do the more forgiving I am on the other stuff. Since our visit with distilled water and cutting down on coffee, I’m juicing. A favorite of mine is called the “Avocado Ginger Detox Juice”.

    1 green apple
    1 avocado (peeled)
    4 carrots
    1” fresh ginger root

(The avocado makes it thick 'n' creamy.)

Check out Earth Angel’s thread called, “JUICING ~ Share tips, recipes, success stories, health benefits or ask ???'s

Visualization is an effective tool. After I eat Ben and Jerry’s, I recycle them into a 3D collage. It helps me keep count of the money and calories I'm losing and collecting. (Should be the other way around. Light Bulb moment!) Alas, Ben and Jerry’s called a lot around the holidays. Who ever said holidays are all ho-ho-ho, has not met some of my family. (OMG - did I just say that out loud?)

And when all else fails...there’s Choco-Therapy!

    Peace and Hearts,
    Paula
