Yes she is a brave lady. It's not that easy to go on a show like Alex's and express
your thoughts on complicated issues..The first few times I talked to George on
C2C, I literally felt like I was going to pass out. lol

The first thing that popped into my mind was why. Why bring her on the show? I didn't think that he brought her on to "punk her" like the one caller said. I believe that he saw something in her that some of us didn't, myself included. I have to confess that I had a negative view of her after seeing her youtube video for which she was named the Obama Phone Lady.

In the beginning, she seemed overwhelmed and didn't seem to understand what was being said. However, after she settled in I really think she got it.
She reminded me of my own mother who is not well educated or sophisticated but understands and knows a lot more then we sometimes give credit to and for. In the end you can't help but to love her and she was brave for appearing on the show and I give a thumbs up to Alex for bringing her on the show.
Hopefully she has been enlightened and can now see more then the alphabet soup MSM has been feeding her all of these years. That counts for a lot in my opinion.

I am concerned about her peers and hope that she is not subjected to too much ridicule at home. If so, something tells me that she will fight back and stand her ground. I wish her luck and success.

I honestly did not pre-judge this woman's humanity nor her raw intelligence based on the first youtube. I would have been equally surprised had I learned she was a complete imbecile as much as I was when I learned she is actually a sweet and likable person who seems bright enough. What we all saw in the video was the sum of her experiences. Far be it from me to prejudge who and what a person is all about knowing nothing of their experiences...

Now that I know her a little better I have to admit I have formed some judgements, and here are my humble observations: Michelle Dowery is a very interesting person. She is not stupid, but it is pretty clear she is illiterate and incredibly ignorant. If we examine her lot, she is utterly powerless relative to the power structure (which aligns well with the old adage that knowledge is power). She knows full well information and knowledge are power and understanding this has had a profound effect on how she employs and absorbs information and knowledge. She is street smart and has learned to negotiate the matrix to survive her lot, just as we all do.

I'm not convinced breaking free of any matrix, be it the matrix that shaped her lot of ignorance and illiteracy, or the one that shapes all our lots of varying shortcomings, rests solely on intelligence. There are many people I know much smarter than me who have a childlike understanding of the world, and who often seem equally absurd to me as Obama Lady did in the first youtube appearance. They are the smart serfs who make things tick, the physicians, the scientists, the engineers. They enjoy prominence whereas Obama Lady enjoys abjection. (I choose my words carefully. Michelle truly seems a blessed soul). But in many ways they are not much different from Obama Lady when it comes to how they employ information. It would seem we are all largely inculcated into the matrix, each negotiating our lots to the best of our abilities, each quantitated differently, and intelligence may have little to do with where we settle. What does matter, I think, is our innate thirst for knowledge and our never ending quest for the truth.

I do not know Michelle Dowery and am only basing my intuition on limited observation, but in my experience, people who have learned to employ knowledge in the way she has during her life, so to advance a specific interest or perhaps even to survive, are very easy to manipulate. Just as the democratic party knew exactly what to say and do to win her over, to make her believe they were acting in accord with in her interests, Alex Jones may have demonstrated just how easily a person like this is to manipulate using the same tactics. I'm not saying it's wrong or what Alex has told her is misleading; I would just be interested to learn how easily she could be swayed back to denouncing all her newfound insights given the right ideologue with skilled persuasiveness.

I do not feel it speaks for itself. Obama's children have armed guards because he is the President of the United States and there is a precedent for people trying to kill Presidents and their family members. Before he ran they were not guarded by armed officers in Illinois. I do feel that this debate over gun control is misguided and the true debate should be over people learning to actually care about each other. Hurt people are the types of people who hurt other people.

People in positions of power do need a modicum of security to protect themselves. When you are elevated in status for whatever reason, people become fixated on you. We fixate on things we see and we see and hear alot about the President, and rightfully so, he is the President after all. So yes he should have protection for his children. I will give you one reason. On election day last year there were no less than 12 lynched effigies of the President displayed in public places throughout the United States. Spoken plainly there were a dozen lifesize models of the current President hung from posts and trees in a manner displaying the hanging of a man.

Also, people fail to realize or would rather ignore the fact that police(with guns) have been in schools that are predominantly minority for a long time. I definitely remember police in my elementary, middle and high schools.

But I digress.......the President of the United States and his family should have protection, because they have been and probably are being targeted by hateful misguided people.

If this fundamental equality is forgotten or gotten rid of (as some seem to be suggesting) then the foundation of our entire country is gone. The US only has what it has because it ATTEMPTS to treat every one with equal opportunities (not AS equals) and with equal rights.

No sorry. The point is that it's not just any kids, we're talking about the president's kids. And because they're the president's kids they obviously draw an exceptional amount of attention from those that might want to harm them, take them ransom, or whatever. We can't say that about most or all other kids in America. I don't like the idea of armed guards around schools at all. I do grant the possibility that exceptional cases can demand exceptional practices.
