I personally choose A. The Guaranteed PEACE - on condition that humans stop slaughtering and eating animals

The question is designed to demonstrate that most people are so attached to killing (animals) that when offered peace on the condition they stop killing themselves they can't.
Addiction creates denial. Hence when someone who is addicted to killing (animals) read the title and content of this thread instead of jumping at the chance to show they were against
the killing (of animals and humans) and would rather have peace they could not choose it - and then began the illogical justifications, the derogatory comments (cognitive dissonance) for highlighting their addiction.

It is an ugly truth, which makes those people claiming they are looking for peace on this planet but are still killing (animals) hypocrites!

Okay, but I don't think you example is optimal.
What if the only way to ensure world peace was to eat lots of red meat? Would that mean vegetarians have the addiction then?

I'm not doubting an addiction to gluttony in the western countries, which is largely driven by meat consumption, but I find the ways your are trying o make your point with a bit odd. Just my opinion.

I reject A and B and Choose C. I do not now live in a black and white world and if all goes well O never will. All the tones and shades of the greyscale make this place interesting and a wealth of knowledge to limit my choses two 2 black or white options will never work. My biggest concerns are: who is guaranteeing peace? how will peace be maintained? how are they going to tell if an animal is killed? IMO is better to eat organic free range animals than ingest MONSANTO. Sell your freedom for safety and you will get neither. I do not discredit the gains that would be obtained threw the ending of animal as food mentality, but I will refuse to be indoctrinated into others view of an ideal.

    Which would we choose?

    A. The Guaranteed PEACE - on condition that humans stop slaughtering and eating animals

    or

    B. The continued slaughter and eating of animals by humans plus the continued slaughter and mistreatment of humans (in manufactured wars and manipulated economies) by their overlords
Sorry but both options are wrong ... we are not slaughtering animals for fun ... we are killing animals to eat and survive. (you love slaughter word right?)

The crap about meat eating should have stopped along time ago ... but meh. Consumerism and profit has turned the old meat eating habits of the human race to what you call slaughter. If what you say is true the all the meat eating animals are evil and should be exterminated. I think of my self and humans as animals like all the rest ... we are not better than then or different. We are all part of mother nature.

i agree with you that we need to stop this treatment and the way we produce consume meat but thats totally different than saying humans are bad and dont deserve peace cause we eat meat. Lets not eat meat ... lets not eat plants ... lets not eat erm whats left? How can humans survive? Sun gazing?

Your 2 choices are like asking do you want to die or you dont ... ofc everyone will want your "peace".

Something last ... all this new age B****t has created a lot of new diseases that are all based on bad eating habits ... check our health forum threads and you will see. I just hope you realize it soon enough that all these meat eating hate is part of the dehumanization of all of us.

Humans have been eating meat and fish and plant since they were made. The problem is how we treat the animals now days and what we feed them that screws up with our bodies. Cows/pigs that eat the bones of their dead, all kinds of chemical "upgrades" to the food they eat and the worst kind of living conditions is what creates the bad karma if you want to think it like that.

Its sad that these kind of topics still appear in this forum.

Man, there must be something in meat that makes people bad tempered....... Of course, everyone is completely free to eat whatever they choose to eat. But we should always remember that every action has a consequence, this is without fail a law of the universe. Kamma is a real bummer!!

Initially ignored this thread because, in most circumstances can't be arsed with loaded questions; however it made it to page-2, which is interesting.

I don't eat meat, but I'll sit across the table with people eating meat, and usually meat they could never have killed and butchered themselves. I have no problem, if asked, stating my opinion that I prefer not to take animal life in order to be fed, but am happy to keep animals and use their composted **** to fertilize my vegetables.

The Earth provides a diverse environment for people to experience, choose, make skilful choices that others may judge correct, or unskilful choices that could be deemed errors. Thats the way I like it.

What right do I have to impose my will on any or ALL others ?

Even if I had the power to do it, I would like to think that I would not do that.

Look at your question and then consider the "tyranny" it represents. Global rules and enforcement smells like NWO bull**** - maybe even overlooking the dietary component you may see what may have annoyed people.

I have said elsewhere, we are not all the same. The future has to work to accommodate this, or we will have very few people left.

Well we cant eat animals cause they are alive ... Plants are alive also ... so no plants to eat ... Then what? only seeds? then you can say that we are stealing that from the plants ...

Unless someone comes with a way for humans to survive ... then animals and plants are the only way to go ...

Killing for survival is totally different that hunting for sport ... i believe natural is more wise than us ... so if eating something that was alive bad there wouldnt had been anything left alive.

And if someone tells me that plants are less alive than animals then ill have to disagree with you 100%.

How about the idea that world peace is about people being allowed to kill themselves and others, until they are finally sick of it and grown past it?

And that, due to the emergence of the science of high enough level, that this current phase of the integration of such varied levels of learning and advancement in incarnated beings....is going to have to end?

That this place is for learning and the perfect have no place or position, here?

That the nightmare is purposeful, intended, and directly connected to your growth, by learning the depth of opposites and polarities?

And that this is only one cycle of such learning phases that this planet has been used as a staging ground - for?

And that multiple games and lessons in varied ways are all being worked upon, simultaneously? (waste not, want not)

That it is a melting pot of purposely agitated and stylized violence and issues?

And that you came here, as you wanted to contribute to and be in the grandest learning game (apparently) in the 3D linear time universe/dimension?

What is going to happen with all of the livestock. Many domestic Animals would wreak havoc on the environment if set free. Perhaps a gradual approach moving away from "BIG" anything. Lets just say people all choose option A. All the Indentured animals are set free, ALL of them!! because we can no longer cull the herd. Humans would be done for. Just pigs alone would completely destroy the ecosystem. Eat all the food crops, then when the food crops are gone they would start eating other animals. Yup pigs are omnivores, just like humans. Soon enough, because pigs are smart, they would start attacking and eating humans. We might even be tasty on our corn diet, would we even be able to defend ourselves being bound to the contract? Check out the hog problems all over the world, and that is with people actively slaughtering them and eating them.

General message to all vegans and vegetarians out there, just as information you should probably know ... you guys eat a lot of bugs. Likely more than people who eat a lot of meat. If you grow and inspect all you own food this isn't as much an issue, but if you eat frozen or canned vegetables, or likewise any processed vegetarian food, there is likely bugs in it. The FDA and similar organizations allow quite a lot of bugs in vegetable harvesting and processing. I'll use the example of hops, being allowed to contain up to almost a quarter its weight in aphids as acceptable for processing into foods. This would be mostly beer, which vegetarians shouldn't be drinking beer or wine anyway due to another common component coming from fish (though there are vegetarian beers and wines out there -- they are labelled as such)

But just the same, canned and frozen veggies and fruits (especially jams / spreads / marmalades) are allowed to have some bugs in it (more than you would imagine), so it's not really worth getting too terribly wound up about what you put in your bodies.

Just some general service info few people are likely aware of. If you are veggie / vegan, you may want to grow and process your own veggies and fruits if not eating bugs is incredibly important to you. In my opinion, it really matters not, and intention trumps action.

If you want more details it can be googled.

I'm sure it would be planned as a gradual phasing out. there's plenty of people like me who enjoy meat but realize that it is unneeded and detrimental in many cases. My body needs lots of protein so I'd have a hard time cutting fish, but red meats, pork and poultry could certainly go for me. In fact I have already made that decision, I just haven't 100% complied yet, although I have cut way down already.

I would be more than happy to hunt or catch my own meat, and in fact I think if everyone was tasked with that, that would restore the natural balance that western gluttony has messed with.

    My 2 cents

I bet you could get allot of people to stop eating meat if they had to hunt for them selves, or at least raise a domestic animal themselves. I would like to eat less meat, but out of laziness bad Wookie. Eating another Life form is a big deal and should be treated as such. ATM the way livestock is treated is abhorrent with no respect for the lifeforms. Things have gotten out of hand to say the least. Being omnivores does not mean having to eat meat. I watched an interesting documentary that theorized that grass played a massive roll in the development of our ancestors. Like without grass humans would never have left the trees. So don't forget to be thankful for everything you eat.

And that you came here, as you wanted to contribute to and be in the grandest learning game (apparently) in the 3D linear time universe/dimension?
That sentence seems to suggest a scenario rather like some advanced spirit, scanning through his Life Guide (his version of what I call the TV Guide) one day, yawning a bit out of bordeom, when a Life on "Planet 3 of Sol" catches his eye, being described as "adventuresome and challenging". So the advanced spirit of our tale punches up the remote, and spends a Life down here, on Earth.
"Hi there - - Fancy meeting you here - Jolly good show, isn't it?"
"Yup - sure is - a bit short - but quite entertaining."
Underlying this very brief tale I just told is a sense of time; that was then and this is now, and perhaps all too soon this episode (life) will be over.

But that way of looking at "time", as some sort of universal substrate, marking off the progression of all that is along some universal metric of progression, strikes me as a mistranslation, from what is, to what can be said. It's a powerful mistranslation; one could distinguish the great civilizations that have come and (for the most part) gone on this planet by studying their understanding of time, and asking what their most revered high priests meant by "time".

Here's one of our most revered high priests:

The high priests of our present civilization are the physicists in the tradition of Newton, Einstein, Archimedes, Galileo, Tesla, Planck, Maxwell, Bohr, ...

The "really serious" clock of our time is not the Mayan Calendar, but rather a gadget such as this:
Explaining "why we're here" as some decision our spirit made in the "past" to come here seems to me to acquiesce to a confusion over the nature of "time".

    I would suggest that
    • the "real" nature of "all that is" is as a partially ordered hierarchy of layers of self-organizing structures (layers of structure),
    • "time" is a notion that only makes realizable sense within a particular layer, as an abstract tool to parametrize the cycles of that layer, and
    • one can distinguish which on these layers a great civilization is most centrally organized by noticing what almost everyone in that civilization thinks of as the true essence of "time" (to which layer does that notion of time apply.)
Most of the dominant functionaries of our present time wear wrist watches tuned to the "cesium atomic clock" notion of time:
    Obama's Jorg Gray JGC6500 Chronograph
I don't think my decision to live this life was made at 12:02 AM, Tuesday, March 4, 1947 (or any other such time as measured that way.)

I think my decisions on how to live this life were, are and will continue to be made at whatever are the highest levels (layers) of self-organizing structure reflected in my being. The cycles manifest in these particular layers, when projected onto the "real physical" time to which our present great civilization marches, might extend before, during and/or after my present biological life span.

Nor will any of us be ascending, as if we were taking the D Line on the Metro for a day trip to Coney Island. Rather some of us will elevate our game during this life, playing at a higher level, rather like Michael Jordan in the closing moments of an NBA playoff game .

This planet apparently is one of those places where "the action is", where the opportunities for the intense engagement essential to such elevation abound, and concurrently the risks of a serious wipe out are likely also greater.

I know I should just let this thread die, but I just can't help it...

explain to me why you feel eating or not eating meat has anything to do with peace...

before you walk up to me and say follow me or you are a fool, you better take a moment to explain your intention.

I slammed Gurus because most are so condescending and narrow minded they don't understand they are no different than any other holy one that says the only way to be saved is by following them...

now in your meat deprived mind, what you were thinking and asking made sense, but to the rest of us, it was so far out in left field we couldn't help but have fun that the idea would even be tried.

now if you said, Bird Flu is wiping out all the poultry, or Al Gore is forcing all cows to wear fart and belch catchers to stop the greenhouse gas emissions and there aren't enough to go around, so we want to see how many are willing to give up meat to keep the peace... or if you said Scientist just realized everyone eating seafood is glowing with Radiation since Fukushima, so the world needs to stop eating fish for the next 200 years... we have some farms growing fish, but to keep the peace, need volunteers to eat fruits and nuts for a while...

now that gives us more than an insult as to how and why you asked your questions.

now, for the reason you got upset with words on a page, shows fruit and nut eaters are addicted and get upset when others won't join their addiction...

most people can't afford to be a vegetarian in the big cities, meat and potatoes are staples, dairy and grains a part of every day with just a few fruits and veggies.

if you want world peace, starvation won't make it happen...

I'm not looking to declare peace with animals, they want to jump out in front of my truck, I'll gut it, toss it in the bed and haul it home thanking God for the blessing and the insurance company for fixing my truck...

Underlying this very brief tale I just told is a sense of time; that was then and this is now, and perhaps all too soon this episode (life) will be over.

    . . . . . . . .

This planet apparently is one of those places where "the action is", where the opportunities for the intense engagement essential to such elevation abound, and concurrently the risks of a serious wipe out are likely also greater.
Micheal Newton, in his books speaks on this subject, in the form of reports from people under hypnosis..speaking from their 'superconscious' multi-dimensional state.

That we come here blank, as the lessons are more potent that way. that they are taken seriously and change the overall spirit, for the better.

That troublesome little growing spirits, that don't fit in and cause too much crap at the ole' given homestead dimensional space..are told something like (humorously)...."Hey, kid, there's a nice little place you can go. a Nice little 'white knuckled roller coaster whitewater raft of a ride and place....that will get that urine and vinegar out of you..the stuff we around here....feel is disturbing our peace. Here, we got together... and bought a ticket for you!"

That the dimensional beings who learn on earth are the most capable and well adjusted, wide and deep visioned ...universal/dimensional participants - of all. That those who have spent lots of time on earth, are some of if not the most formidable universal/dimensional adjudicators.

That such things are being publicly spoken of, means 'the jig is almost up'. That the game, this phase of it... is almost over.

Regarding the question - you, as the OP expect option A to be selected, as you see option B as what is the causal outcome if A is not selected.
Hypothetical question to you: Why would you think that this is the one question that peace is dependent on?
What if the ONE decisive thing was: Peace will be guaranteed when no-one is judgemental towards others and their actions?
