Speaking of power lines and such, when we have free energy we won't lose power from the lines breaking under ice and snow. This occurs to me as the rain and wind just changed to icy sleet.

The cat and I are tucked inside warm & dry ... left work early so i could get up the hill before it gets bad ...

How about this beer bottle self-watering herb garden? Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. I guess this falls into the reuse category.

Paula, speaking of previous jobs ... I used to score essay exams, and one of the questions I scored was on the difference between those three concepts, reducing, reusing, and recycling.

After being mystified by Carmody's various whiney posts I came across this just now:

My dog (pictured left) is as domestic as they come, only 100lb (all sweet baby), and he also feels need to eat through doors (I've posted that pic on FB many times) when he can't open them. The door jamb of the basement (we have to keep him there, as fridge doors are his favorite, once he's done picking through garbage) is about done, anyday will be the next FB post...he's got a tooth hold that allows him to pull of large chucks last time.

He was never alone the first 5 years of his life. He has not adjusted well, can't afford a therapist, and don't trust the pharmies they prescribe for seperation anxiety...so I gotta hone up my carpentery skills, and save for a new door.

Dennis, I'm with you (sometimes) but hope eaglespirit's right...much love...

I don't feel like talking about me as a cog in the machine to dismantle "Empire." I feel like a broken cog - missing teeth, bent out of round...irreparably useless. Nojo where my mojo used to be. (I'm reeling, actually.)

Hmmmm....Lotsa "Dragon" energy goin' around on Avalon...and elsewhere : )
I could not make this up...s-y-n-c-h-r-o-n-i-c-i-t-y
I did some prep work this morning at my Friend's printing business for some new stairs...just before I left I mounted a 6 foot vertical pressure treated 8" x 10" post to guard(from backing trucks) a new walkway I had built last week to the main printing press area. Well, I went back this afternoon to cover lumber(snow tonite) and put a pitch cut on the post top...I walked up to it and about fell over with laughter when I saw it. The shop Foreman had mounted a big Dragon head on top with a little tiger riding on it...and it took some doing, he had to apply a mount piece underneath for it to work...when I went in to talk to him he said it was to ward off 'evil dorks' HaHaHa!
I'll have to get a picture!
