... such painful periods like you are going through at the moment can serve a purpose, I feel.
Our society is so in denial of death, that when several happen at once there is a major shock.
as I said before, shock leads to awakening, and increase in consciousness.
Also, intense suffering brings out that part of the inner self that was behind the mask.
So in reality death is pure light, if understood correctly.
Another truly beautiful and profound breath of fresh truth.

    Thanks, Ulli.

This is really beautiful, really profound, and resonates as truth. Balance and compassion, the wide and deep vision of an 'old soul.' Thank you, Paula, for that warm breeze.

    Thanks, Ulli.
    Amen to that, Dennis.

Roy, heartfelt condolences for your loss. May this help you see your path ever more clearly and take courage in following it.

Time for bed. Here's a lullaby song to smooth the day.

    Good night, Avalon.

Ol'Roy I'm sorry for your losses and your grief. It's always harder when they are so young. Glad you shared this with the village.
Their lives here on earth were richer to have someone like you love and care about them.

    For you

    a poem by Kahlil Gibran

You would know the secret of death.
But how shall you find it unless you seek it in the heart of life?
The owl whose night-bound eyes are blind unto the day cannot unveil the mystery of light.
If you would indeed behold the spirit of death, open your heart wide unto the body of life.
For life and death are one, even as the river and the sea are one.

    In the depth of your hopes and desires lies your silent knowledge of the beyond;
And like seeds dreaming beneath the snow your heart dreams of spring.
Trust the dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity.
Your fear of death is but the trembling of the shepherd when he stands before the king whose hand is to be laid upon him in honour.
Is the shepherd not joyful beneath his trembling, that he shall wear the mark of the king?
Yet is he not more mindful of his trembling?

For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?
And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?

Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.

    Love

    Nora

Regarding free energy, and my whining about it being feasible or nor feasible, that we need it, we can have it, to move toward it, to hold it back, to be denied it, to go to 'war' over it, with PTB types, or not, or that even spirit holds it back from us until we grow enough..or if spirit entourages us to go out and get it...all of that.

Two sayings, about the human condition:

" I don't care what they say about me, as long as they say about me."

    and

"No publicity - is bad publicity."

That the discussion itself, the push into the public eye and mind... is what will bring it to the table, regardless.

Regarding that thought of 'never coming back here again', Yeah, I know that feeling. I think we all do, at times.

When one remembers a 'space', what others might think of as being the entire envelope of 'non body intelligence and experience', the universal eye and mind of the inhabitant of the body, as much of that package as possible, as funneled into the human body and life as can be handled..... I can tell you that the pain of being limited in a body and this world, is rather extreme. That we come into it blank, partially for those very sort of reasons. The stories of the unhappy children, speaking to their parents about how awful it is 'here', that they want to go 'home'.

This is why I tend to vacillate between being clear headed and desiring to be befuddled and distracted, as a defense mechanism. To be surrounded by so many who are blank on such things.

It is the music that brings me back, that holds it all at bay....

I haven't left my body in such a long time that I have completely accepted the limitation of being trapped in one.
So perhaps I should consider myself lucky.
My personal suffering is more to do with having too many options to choose from when I feel creative.
So I always need to find that inner source of my decision-making processes. It's not an automatic thing, it takes real effort.

While your creativity as a scientist is more about function, mine is more about esthetics, which, come to think of it, also has its function, albeit one that serves only specific individuals, namely the couple who is the future owner.
He buys it for her, she then puts it on, to feel more desirable.
Although sometimes she buys it for herself...if she has money of her own.
Less women are owned by their men than in the past.
Still, they want their jewelry to decorate themselves.

So while music may attract you to return here, jewelry being an individual matter, attracts people to one another, and in a visual way.

For me, taking beads and stringing them together to make decorative objects for other people to hang on their bodies is a bit like making music, but unlike real music which swirls around the ether affecting large numbers, my beads are more solid notes that only one person at a time can own, and if made to last, they can even pass onto their granddaughters.
Unlike music jewelry cannot be appreciated by the collective...

    Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

Here it is 29F and still, with yesterday's snow and ice crusted on my car ... I had forgotten about the old days in New England, about starting the car ten minutes before leaving, with the heater full blast on the windshield.

    Enjoy your iced coffee, ES.

Here it is dawn, birds are singing and river noise is gurgling,

Here it is *not* dawn ... but getting close.

Having a look at the forum waiting for family to get up and go through that ol' weekday routine.

No river ... no birds ... trapped inside a heated home with an outside temperature that would challenge seeing the next day without it.

... and yes ... I am drinking ice coffee

Got in the habit at work since I needed caffine working overnight shift and I avoid microwaves at all cost (heating up the water obviously).

It is -9 this morning, wind chill -18 (in celcius that would be -23 and -28). I'm sticking to farenheit... makes the illusion less cold. I hear the "skwich, skwich" sound of the snow under the feet of people walking in front of the house. I can't see them, as they are all snucked inside some woolen scarf. Iced coffee would never cross my mind on such a day. Crazy men. hehe... I just hope that the bus is not late and that I am not stuck playing the ice cube at the stop.

But it's FlyDay !!! That warms me up.

    Good day to All!

For those who are not drinking iced coffee this morning (brrrrrrrrr!)

Today it is off to the city, this is turning into an every Friday occurrence. Poor M, triggers are multiplied with another person in the house. It does take a bit of getting used to, though we are all tickled to have him.

Please send love and healing to Little One today. He started having a cough yesterday, not much really. But overnight, with the cold air penetrating the walls, he has become croupy and sounds like his chest is congested something awful. I have to send him to school, because it is the lesser of two evils. Keeping him in the car for five hours wouldn't be good, either. I'm sending Angels with him, and if I had time this morning I would do some reiki, too. This time, it looks like I will have to depend on my Village Family.

    Thank you...Much Love,
Life is a road we don't travel alone. But everyone's on their own journey home.

Years ago a Chinese reflexologist told me to never drink anything with ice in it, unless I am overheating on the inside.
Only lukewarm drinks, or hot, sipped slowly.
To put anything inside the body that is colder than body temperature would cause the blood vessels to contract and circulation to be impaired, thus causing organic tissues to become starved, which in turn could cause damage over a period of time. Of course cultural behavior causes habits, including habits which might be detrimental.
So culture needs to be reexamined at all times. What caused certain habits or patterns in the first place?
The excitement generated by the first refrigerators during hot summers could leave lasting habits.
I know some Americans who are so addicted to cooling their rooms with A/C that they even turn them on when the outside temp is colder than the temp generated by the A/C.

Calz, The sun images in these pictures are having an effect on me,
as if I was gazing into the real sun.
How can one explain such a thing?

We know food pictures can make someone's mouth water,
even though they lack the yummy smells of delicious cooking.

Years ago a Chinese reflexologist told me to never drink anything with ice in it, unless I am overheating on the inside.
So I have icewater in my veins ...

Actually at home I just use cold water (without ice ... shaken ... not stirred).

Yep. Cooling things is definitely part of the American yankee dream.
Created mostly by former Europeans who got climate shock when they moved across the Atlantic.

Meanwhile you could travel on a train in Europe in the heat of summer and get totally stifled,
because A/C is still not on their radar. Same goes for plumbing.
Stuck in their ancient ways, especially the rural crowd.
