Question What is your 'earthly' job/occupation?

    1) What is your 'earthly (3D, so to speak..)' job/occupation you have, now?
    2) Do you like/love it?..or, you're just basically sort of 'pressured' by the System?
    3) if you answer the latter on the previous question, then, what is your PLAN?

please do share.. as I'm currently really confused as to:
    - which one is the *real* truth (are we really seriously being conspired?.. or, this forum is just another form of "escapism" or "fantasy-thinking" from the everyday's harsh & mundane reality/real-world?
    - and therefore, what should/must I *DO* , especially in the terms of finding the right job/occupation/career in our current 'earthly (3D)' world?..

    thanks.

I'll skip your "intro questions" (ice breakers really considering the second half of your post) and address your confusion directly.

If you are not afraid of the deep end of the pool & can exersize some truely objective observation on your current life & the interactions you have (both internally and externally) with those around you, this thread will answer both of the "bullets" of the latter half of your post:

You can minimize your dependence on the system and do more of what you want and experience more and more freedoms. Needing less money is a quick way to gain lots of independence. You can leave the country and live where the cost of living is negligible. You could move to Burma and live in the country or India or somewhere else....But I'm afraid you still end up in the same systems of manipulation, ego, and duality. Even relationships with friends, lovers, family, neighbors, animals, plants and the self ends in confusion, ignorance, and all of the same old stuff, etc...Until everyone or a vast number of us are completely free of the BS it just shape shifts, confounds and its right back in your lap.

Yes we're being conspired upon and being raped. Profits over people is psychosis. You can start right there, and that's the least of it.

I don't think it's what you're doing as much as how you do what you do. Your work is a reflection of you. Not the job title, but how you work.
Have a look. There's a tendency for a mind that's growing in it's sense of awareness of the integrity of things, to begin to resist the corruption of things around it.
That could cost you friends and employers, if they don't care. It's good to find out that it's you who chooses what you want to do, not them.
If you find yourself doing something that you think you don't want to be doing, you're kidding yourself. If you can figure out why you make those choices,
    you can make different choices.

But work is a venue for relationship, either with others or with yourself. You'll never be without the right opportunity to learn what you need to learn.

Hi Erich, I agree with the rest of your post, but could you clarify ....are you saying that Burma is a country where anyone can just move to ? They don't insist you have n hundred thousand dollars to deposit, that you obtained an irrelevant piece of paper when you were 18, that you jump through all kinds of meaningless hoops in your country of origin before arrival ? Can I just turn up, say hello, and get my passport stamped for indefinite stay ? Is this miltary dictatorship really the ONLY country on Earth which will accept people for who they are and what their demonstrable abilities and gifts are rather than the bits of paper they have ?

If so, I'll see you there before the year is out.

See above for a glimmer of my frustrations with the world we live in.

All I can suggest is that you look inside for what brings you joy, and do it. It's highly unlikely that there's a job or profession which explicitly fulfills your potential, so you need to find a job which serves as a vehicle for you to manifest your destiny. In short, whatever your job, do it with passion and allow your own nature to shine through.

Yes, but can you answer my question - can I turn up, be welcomed, get unlimited stay, not have to go back to the UK to get some stupid bits of paper to prove who I am , and find work ?

Mariposafe, your question is too complicated for me to answer. I'm sorry. The visa situation and work opportunities are not radically different from any other country in SE Asia. But as the original post of this thread indicates the world is in turmoil, the whole world, all of it, all of us. Some places are better than others...

    1) Unemployed currently, but generally 1st & 2nd level IT helpdesk work

    2) i like it i guess, it has its up's and downs, but all the stuff i want to get into requires thousands of dollars of BS certification that expire and need to be renewed every 3 years. very expensive, and i will NEVER learn from a textbook, it just doesnt work with me...

    3) Win Lotto. Buy a huge plot of land. Build something that rivals the Cat House on Kings. (https://youtube.com/watch?v=lgeKsXgXOns)

    - which one is the *real* truth (are we really seriously being conspired?.. or, this forum is just another form of "escapism" or "fantasy-thinking" from the everyday's harsh & mundane reality/real-world?

    1. None of your business (pun intended). I'm a Permaculturist, so think about it for a second and work your way back from there
    2. I only do things I like and I likes the things what I do...
    3. Must there be a plan? Why? I find them sooooooo boring.

I don't even understand what you are trying to ask/say here:

Quote which one is the *real* truth
What truth are you asking about? Come on now don't be shy. You seem quite happy to ask for evidence in other threads so gawn, what "real truth"... I must have missed the memo...

    In answer to:

Quote are we really seriously being conspired?
Think about this question for a few seconds and place it into a context.
Is Monsanto poisoning the biosphere? Check.
Are they trying to hide the fact? Check.
Is there more than one person involved in doing this hence making it a conspiracy? Check.

Let's look just a little further at corporations for a few seconds...

It was illustrated in a 2011 analysis of corporate entities that there are a small number of transnational corporations that have a disproportionate controlling influence on the worlds financial markets (money) and from this exert power (eg societal, political, economic).
If you're interested have a look at the paper (bit statistically detailed but it's got some pretty pictures too):
'The network of global corporate control'.

Quote what should/must I *DO* , especially in the terms of finding the right job/occupation/career in our current 'earthly (3D)' world?..
Might I suggest flower arranging? Yes, I think that is where you will excel. That way you will have complete control of the way things are laid out within the arrangement. What about a computer technician. Maybe as a taxi driver? A surgeon? A sanitation officer?

Maybe just do what you want to do and if you can't make a living from it then do it as a love and find something else that you enjoy doing to do for a living.
It really isn't all that complicated. There again, maybe try being happy doing anything that you're doing and then the rest wont matter.

    Hi,
I am still in a 9 - 5 regular job and it´s an american company, all inclusive, corporate idiot - like and getting worse day by day.
I asked for guidance from my higher self ´cause I wanna change and become who I am.
So I keep my awareness open and I try opportunities but until these/my guidelines appear I try to set own personal goals every day I go to work. I figure, if I am still supposed to be there, there must be some issues to work on. For instance I successfully became a good friend of the one person in my working place I disliked most.... we have a real nice friendship now and these are the reasons that keep me going... It also is a little bit like therapy because I am very impatient - what is taking my higher self so long to show me my way? Recently I found it´s anger, so I started to processing it, its unbelievable how angry I am, well, I am thankful to have learned this.
To return to my job, I have to blieve that it is the best I can do for now and that mama-universe keeps me there because there still is something to learn or experience. I in the meanwhile keep my eyes and heart open for any other path, I feel I will know...... and my impatience wants to add: soon!
    cheers,

I am what I used to call a "corporate slave" or "cube monkey", depending on what day it was, but never truly hated it unless too much responsibility got dumped on me, which I manage to avoid for the most part.

I know my industry (retirement plans, 401k, 403b, 457, exec comp, etc-not advising, the nuts & bolts admin & ops) inside & out so it's usually like movie Office Space, I try to limit the actual amount of "work" I do to about 15 mins a day.

I use the system for a safe, climate controlled environment with fast Internet (very little of what I am interested is blocked). It so happens that I work with great people that I care about, so I have an incentive to do any work...I do it for them, not the machine.

In my case, it's a Too Medium to not get eated (TMTNGE) bank, the policies of which are slowly creeping into my life, as two years ago it was too small to cook the books. My new overlords have to try to be like the TBTFs, they wanna be one so bad, and it's the cycle of life in the psychopathic corporate environment.

As I work on pensions (nearly non-existent now) 401k & 403b plans, which every white collar schlub has these days, I am the canary in the coal mine. When the plan terminations & desperate participant withdrawals start happenin en masse, it means its crumbling down--i'll be sure to sound the alarm here right away.

As long as people still believe in $$$, I'll be there to service their fantasy of "retirement". I am confident I can make myself useful once the bull**** system falls, just gotta keep your eyes open, and make decisions of love from the heart, rather than living in fear. Good luck to us all

HVAC repairman... I like that no one stands looking over my shoulder... too hot on the roof , or too cold outside... it's one job I have freedom, or at least the feeling of freedom and I'm outside in nature ...when I'm done everyone, has a happy look on their face ... humans just want to be comfortable, especially when it's hot ...there is no right job , it's just a distraction from the learning process of being a spirit in a body ...

"If I'm going to work for an idiot, I might as well be self employed." That's been my motto for over 20 years. Before that I was probably fired from more jobs than most have in a lifetime.........I didn't kiss a$$ well or suffer fools for long.........still don't.

I feel my REAL job is to keep my energy as high as possible regardless of how I make a living or where I choose to escape from the harshness of reality. That's how I contribute to society, earth and our future.
Life is what it is. How you perceive it creates your reality.

    - and therefore, what should/must I *DO* , especially in the terms of finding the right job/occupation/career in our current 'earthly (3D)' world?..

    thanks.

One of the questions I have often asked myself throughout the past 30 years. . . . .

    Am I working to live?

    or

    Am I living to work?

If the later is more of what my current life represents then I have a good sit down with myself and make the appropriate changes.

Somehow I have muddled my way through my life to ‘mostly’ be where I wanted to be when I started on this particular part of my life journey. I have had to make some very very difficult life altering changes to get back on the ‘right’ path for me.

Those life altering changes came from a stubborn determination of what I felt was ‘Truth’ and most of all what I felt deep down is my reason for being here at this time and place.

    To answer you questions more directly . . . . .

Quote 1) What is your 'earthly (3D, so to speak..)' job/occupation you have, now?
My ‘job’ that I do now (that earns money to pay bills) is continuing to manage a moderate income I now make from serious investments and hard work of the past 20 or so years. A large part of this ‘managing’ is utilizing this income to become 100% self reliant and debt free . . . . I calculate I need about 5 more years.

Quote 2) Do you like/love it?..or, you're just basically sort of 'pressured' by the System?
The ‘job’ or work I did the last 30 years I did not necessarily like, but for me, it was the wisest use of my time and skills to get to the lifestyle and life I felt I am destined for or that I felt driven toward. I looked hard and long at where I wanted to end up and found the best means (financially) to accomplish this plan. This changed several times as I traveled through my life and became older and wiser (?). At one time I felt pressured by the system and was very entrenched in the ‘game’ . . . .but I was (almost always) aware that I needed to be in the rat race to accomplish my goals. The ‘pressure’ was only a by-product of being in the game and I simply acknowledged it and filed it away as just part of it. What I loved was the life that I worked for. I was careful to have more time to live my life that I loved which was my babies, homesteading (or planning to homestead), research and reading, exploring and adventure.

Quote 3) if you answer the latter on the previous question, then, what is your PLAN?
I answered above pretty much what my plan WAS to get where I am today at 53 years old . . . . so I guess I could answer what IS the plan form this point on.

I moved back to my home place in the Appalachians and here I will die. Before that passing over, I plan (and am already) to be a large part of the revitalization and healing of this small mountain coal community. I am ‘hell bent’ to encourage new infrastructure and economic development to be as sustainable and innovative as possible. I am very determined that the people of this community will have more choices to live the life they desire instead of working the mines and gas fields until they have black lung or so crippled that enjoying their latter years is impossible. I am determined to do what I can to build a foundation in which future generations can heal this scarred, raped land and restore the magic and vitality of these ancient mountains.

This ‘plan’ is not a job or occupation . . . . this is what I want to do and THIS is one of the reasons I worked the jobs I did co I could get to the place where I could effectively do the things I am driven to do.

Do not live to work . . . . work so you can LIVE the life you are here to live. Listen to your soul . . . . .

    1) Professional Student
    2) Love it. While there's pressure, there's a lot of skill building and knowledge gained from it.
    3) Continue until the money runs out.

    Interesting thread.

    1) Director of Management Information Systems for Canada's most advanced nutraceutical and supplement manufacturer.
    2) Love it! One of the best companies to possibly work for, rest of the staff is awesome -- its like a big family, everyone looks out for everyone else.
    3) Plan? Plans lead to disappointments, I rather await for the universe to present opportunities based on what I want to create, and select carefully -- it's how I got where I am so I can attest this works for me ;-)

(That said, I really would like to contribute more artistically to this world, but I don't necessarily need a new job for that, )

    ADDITION:
And it matters not what job you have, if you are generally an unhappy person, expecting a job to make you happy will let you down. likewise, if your job is what truly is making you miserable, why choose to be unhappy?

Enjoying yourself in life is the question or not -- having that ability via a free MIND. Things like finding the right job, lover, or whatever is merely the fine tuning.

When you are one step ahead of the crowd, you are a genius.
Two steps ahead, and you are deemed a crackpot.
