Here and Now...What's Happening?

A quick observation and the tweaking of a memory that eventually lead me to Project Camelot and then Avalon.

Every time I hear Max Igen I feel like I know the guy from somewhere. Last night the memory clicked. I'm pretty sure he is the one that made a documentary in about 207 parts, each around ten minutes long, called something like The Illuminati or some such. I just stumbled across it while checking out vids on youtube. I'd never heard about any of those topics then, or almost none of them. I thought at first it was a ruse, a joke but as the videos continued I changed my mind. I caught up on the first fifty or so videos and then eagerly awaited every installment thereafter. I became convinced that by the end of the vids the guy would break open the conspiracy and single-handedly change the world - but no such luck. Then he just stopped. I never heard his voice again and he was annonymous throughout the series. I forget the posters handle now.

Does that ring any bells for anyone? Or am I way behind the curve again?

Hey Marianne, all is well with us. Farther north we didn't get the storm cells that developed to the south around PL.

I hope all is well with everyone. I can tell the spring is beginning here. I got a head cold developing, I have sneezed at least 100 times today, and my nose is dripping like a leaky faucet. And all this started like somebody turned on a switch just this morning.

It's been interesting musing about Ratzinger's resignation. I woke up this morning, clicked on the radio and had a premonition about it, and then immediately the report followed announcing his resignation. An interesting deja vu.

Evening Peeps hope all is well and safe, been trudging through this thread. If you miss a day or two, its like getting triple homework assignments, you know what i mean. Missing Modwiz and Chinaski right's about now. Although Rad is on the TOT's forum. Its just not the same..... Wish he was here.....

Saw and old work compatriot the other day. Hadn't seen him in about 2-3 years. I used to work with him about a decade ago. I'd run into him every few years, and we'd speak for a few minutes. He had a brain back in that time a decade ago. Uneducated drop out, broken home, etc...but if you spoke with him, he'd be able to say something coherent back.

The kind of things that said, no sophistication, but the rudiments for human thought were there. He had the critical part, that he could have obtained the rest. That he was prone to alcoholism and narcotics, as a substitute for life. That one could see the whole thing creeping up, inside of him. Strengthening, tearing down, taking over. Bit by bit.

When I saw him this time, he was speaking with someone, and did not see me. I avoided him, due to what I saw. His face was distorted and one eye was off. it looked almost as if krokidil had gotten a hold of him. But I suspect a combination of crack and meth. Like there was no-one home anymore. It's always sad to see. The change was extreme.

oh gosh, I am so distressed. Did anyone read the manifesto supposedly written by Dorner, the cop who has vowed to take vengeance till he gets his name back? This is paraphrased obviously. I'm sure he has a legitimate complaint but to take it out by taking lives I don't agree with. But the most distressing thing of all is that his manifesto has been hijacked and twisted into something entirely different to support gun control and support weapons bans, quoting Feinstein and everything. If you read this manifesto about half way down, the entire tenor changes, the words change, the sentence structure changes . . . and the message changes to this:

" If you had a well regulated AWB, this would not happen. The time is now to reinstitute a ban that will save lives. Why does any sportsman need a 30 round magazine for hunting? Why does anyone need a suppressor? Why does anyone need a AR15 rifle? This is the same small arms weapons system utilized in eradicating Al Qaeda, Taliban, and every enemy combatant since the Vietnam war. Don’t give me that crap that its not a select fire or full auto rifle like the DoD uses. That’s bull**** because troops who carry the M-4/M-16 weapon system for combat ops outside the wire rarely utilize the select fire function when in contact with enemy combatants. The use of select fire probably isn’t even 1% in combat. So in essence, the AR-15 semiautomatic rifle is the same as the M-4/M-16. These do not need to be purchased as easily as walking to your local Walmart or striking the enter key on your keyboard to "add to cart". All the firearms utilized in my activities are registered to me and were legally purchased at gun stores and private party transfers. All concealable weapons (pistols) were also legally register in my name at police stations or FFL's. Unfortunately, are you aware that I obtained class III weapons (suppressors) without a background check thru NICS or DROS completely LEGALLY several times? I was able to use a trust account that I created on quicken will maker and a $10 notary charge at a mailbox etc. to obtain them legally. Granted, I am not a felon, nor have a DV misdemeanor conviction or active TRO against me on a NCIC file. I can buy any firearm I want, but should I be able to purchase these class III weapons (SBR's, and suppressors) without a background check and just a $10 notary signature on a quicken will maker program? The answer is NO. I'm not even a resident of the state i purchased them in. Lock n Load just wanted money so they allow you to purchase class III weapons with just a notarized trust, military ID. Shame on you, Lock n Load. NFA and ATF need new laws and policies that do not allow loopholes such as this. In the end, I hope that you will realize that the small arms I utilize should not be accessed with the ease that I obtained them. Who in there right mind needs a f------ silencer!!! who needs a freaking SBR AR15? No one. No more Virginia Tech, Columbine HS, Wisconsin temple, Aurora theatre, Portland malls, Tucson rally, Newtown Sandy Hook. Whether by executive order or thru a bi-partisan congress an assault weapons ban needs to be re-instituted. Period!!!

Sen. Feinstein, you are doing the right thing in leading the re-institution of a national AWB. Never again should any public official state that their prayers and thoughts are with the family. That has become cliche' and meaningless. Its time for action. Let this be your legacy that you bestow to America. Do not be swayed by obstacles, antagaonist, and naysayers. Remember the innocent children at Austin, Kent, Stockton, Fullerton, San Diego, Iowa City, Jonesboro, Columbine, Nickel Mines, Blacksburg, Springfield, Red Lake, Chardon, Aurora, and Newtown. Make sure this never happens again!!!"

I had to stop reading at this point because I was about to throw up.
