Ouf, here and now.
I just finished a University work that was due yesterday - I beg the extension, it is 3h40 am, and I am going to bed. I will have to get organised differently and may be less on the forum snif.
The whole thing took 40 hours. Ouf!
Now for the second part, meeting customers in the university clinic, taped meeting with supervisors analysing our ways of doing. Another 40 hours will go there.

My daughter was laughing tonight telling me that I was not very dedicated to school, too much on the forum. Then telling me nothing below an A is acceptable.

Same here! I really should be writing a paper by now but I just can't stay away from the forum..

the difference between your paper and mine is that you have been at it since birth and never let go, I have been at it as much as you 20 some years ago and i ma taking over again. I should have become wiser by now.
Have to give an example, just As all over if I want my daughter to follow suit. Next year is the year where the exam count for admission to college. Right now she has to many Bs, so I insist a lot (the fact is that this is extraordinary, litterally, when thinking where she comes from in learning disabilities). Here in the province, you get no good jobs if no college.
Up to now, I am rather the counter example as to the use of my time.

I had not yet seen this post when the phone rang this morning. It was the wrong number, but the man spoke English and I thought I'd recognized his voice. As he apologized I said I don't believe in coincidences. So we got chatting.
Turns out he has a houseguest who is a Hopi Grandmother with the most interesting Sedona connection. We ended up spending the morning together. Paula, you are so in tune. Yukondiva came over and got a healing, too, ....we all got saged, I read her chart...the land got blessed ...we did a ceremony for the medical center, went down to the river, washed away all old curses....and so it's all good.

Well, it's honest.

Kinda lends to my argument that military service itself is not alone worthy of the respect the masses in the US seem to demand/expect people have for it.

I'm not saying there's no service members I respect, quite the contrary. Just saying I don't respect ANYONE based on their vocation alone...and anyone who chooses to be part of the "big stick" of the American govt has to earn it from me. F*** those stupid ribbons.,.

Well, the real reason they are in there is that they get lured in via the golden carrot when they are down and out, or want someone to pay for their 'education', and then it's all justified with the ol' 'defense' argument.

I saw this article yesterday. Typical. For those that are required to give the ultimate sacrifice, they are granted the least in this society.

Feeling like a single lentil bean in a huge cauldron of soup right now. Or maybe like a speck of paint, partially covered by other specks and splats of paint, in a Jackson Pollock painting.

That's my best attempt to declare my here and now as my brain starts to shut down before sleep.

Fantasy: I wish we could all swim together in a warm, clear ocean, followed by a luau. I crave your smiles and laughter, and my toes in warm sand.

Scottish Cardinal O’Brien’s sacking has brought the sexual shenanigans right into the Sistine Chapel where he will prominent by his absence. The Church is no longer accused of coverups, it has now admitted at the very highest levels to being directly involved if not in pedophilia at least in inappropriate behavior. This means that it could become the number one issue for the conclave, namely a) decide which way to go with this and b) either way, find someone to do the dirty work. This may take longer than the usual two days.


Anyone wanting to see Michelangelo’s depiction of the Orion nebula may have to wait for a while.

Oh my goodness! On the one hand, makes you wonder what would drive someone to not only want to do this, but actually start this project...and to do it for close to 40 years, even! On the other hand, I do think it would have been beautiful...the small images look like a depiction of wind to me.

I bet painting numbers would be like taking long drives...I wonder if he kept his mind busy repeatedly running through what number was next, and if this left the rest of him open for aha moments...or I wonder what happened if he made a mistake...

Wow, I am thinking way too much about this, haha. Maybe I should go get a cup of coffee...
