What the US 9-11 Response Meant for Christians in Foreign Countries

There was a sobering article in USA Today this morning; Wednesday, April 4, 2013. It said that the persecution of Christians worldwide has reached epic proportions. In fact, Germany (in the form of Angela Merkel) has made a statement that Christianity is now officially the most persecuted religion on earth.

I wanted to ask you guys a question. Now, I know a lot of you (or us) have an issue with America being called a "Christian nation". Some people understand that "christian nation" is something more statistical than practical. But just the same, it's how the rest of the world looks at us.

My question is this: had not America's Christians helped support the war in Afghanistan and Iraq, would Christians in the Middle East be suffering their present tribulation?

I wanted to also bring to your attention what's been happening to the Sikh people, who are also good Samaritans (like some Christians) and are severely persecuted for their appearance and origins... because they look like imaginary Al Qaeda or something, even Americans have been attacking them. In fact, during the London Olympics is when that white Neo Nazi Wade Michael Page slaughtered some of them in their own church in Wisconsin.

What can Christians worldwide expect after what the USA has done?
It is our own fault, those of us who supported the war or the military during OEF, OIF, etc.

I feel really horrible that pacifists are being rounded up and killed in this religious war.
And I really hate the Bush family for colluding with Muslim wealthy families who hate their own people and really hate Christians. I mean, didn't Bushie Jr. show up drunk at church? That's how much he respects the holy of holies.

What about the rest of us?

With apologies to all the truly great Christians out there, insofar as the NATO allied nations are regarded as Christians, it is not surprising that they,on rare occasion, get a taste of their own medicine. Extremely rare acts of retaliation by the powerless, globally, shouldn't be misconstrued as persecution of Christians. That is warped and psychopathic 'logic'. Did I mention self serving?

I don't like to argue or be a nuisance, but =
It's actually quite systematic,
the elimination of Christians in certain countries.

Not to boss people around, but there is an organization that keeps track of persecution,
it's called,

"The Voice of the Martyrs".

I'm not really talking about White Anglo Saxon Protestants,
I mean people like Egyptian and Saudi Christians,
Christians in India, etc.

Some really bad things happen to them there.
Even in China it used to be a lot worse.
People had to smuggle Bibles in through airport customs and sometimes it was only a miracle that got them across.

People get killed for a whole lot less in lots of the 3rd world nations
