Default INGRESS - Google asks you to chose sides in a mind control game

Google has launched a relatively new game (five months ago), It is all about mind control, and as always, it looks as if they are feeding us with details (with apparently many clues over there) under the cover of an android game. If this was already posted please excuse me as I did not find any under the forum research tool.

In this new game you will fight, using your smart device, a worldwide brainwashing. This is a new invention of its kind even for Google. Google incorporated a science fiction style game and augmented it with reality technology.

John Hank, the head of the project says that this game will be like 'World of Warcraft', where the same game is played all over the world simultaneously. In addition, Hank says, it can be played anywhere in the world, where in thos areas where the number of users is smaller, the competition will be more regional and compete for the energy resources of the group.

The game deals with Mind control, you will be part of one of two groups - either 'the enlightened' or 'the oposition', and you'll have to fight or achieve the "power." The game will be installed in your smartphones and you will tour various places to collect energy, or the way it is named in the game - Exotic Matter - XM, with it you can create, improve or steal portals located in well known public places . The objective of the game is to create areas which are controlled by your team with cooperation, and to attack the areas that are the enemy. At some point, the winning team will be announced after about a year to 18 months of playing.

At this time, if you want to participate you need to be invited. This is the Google description under the title - "The world is not what it seems" :

Quote "*****Ingress is a closed-beta right now. Request an invite at http://www.ingress.com*****

Ingress transforms the real world into the landscape for a global game of mystery, intrigue, and competition.

Our future is at stake. And you must choose a side.

A mysterious energy has been unearthed by a team of scientists in Europe. The origin and purpose of this force is unknown, but some researchers believe it is influencing the way we think. We must control it or it will control us.

“The Enlightened” seek to embrace the power that this energy may bestow upon us.

“The Resistance” struggle to defend, and protect what’s left of our humanity.

Install Ingress and transform your world."

After getting the invite you need to give permissions in order to start playing, otherwise you will not be able to. From the 'Ingress' page:

    Permissions

This application has access to the following:

    precise location (GPS and network-based)
Allows the app to get your precise location using the Global Positioning System (GPS) or network location sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi. These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power.

it sounds even more obtrusive than Face book, but at least this game involves people going places and not just rotting in their houses..

Have to fight my conspiracy instincts here just a bit... Interesting nonetheless, so thanks Limor.

    A few things that jumped out right away, aside from the overall premise;

    - 'a team of scientists in Europe'. A team like... oh, I don't know... CERN perhaps?
    - People who embrace the alleged 'mind controlling energy' are called 'The Enlightened'? Hmm...

Sometimes I think that this kind of mass entertainment, like computer games, tv-shows, mainstream movies and such, are part of disclosure and also not.
They give you a small piece of the cake to try. A little hint towards whats really going on and you can try it out and feel the sensations you get by
killing people, manipulating people, playing god and so on.

Kind of demonstrating the strategies they use in front of our eyes, so we slowly accept and understand it and becomes modus operandi.

This is clear agreeing to entrainment. Giving those permission IS agreeing in mind control of your own mind and agreeing to be chased around in positioning.

In terms of soul, this is exactly how the PTB and the Reptoid would work, getting your agreement step by step, and then, try to get out of it.

Well, I will add that agreements that are based on deception and/or on false representation are, at the soul level, are nil and void. Most people are not aware of this. Most human will think they agreed therefore they have to comply, which is false.

Why browsing around to listen at videos on mind control, monarch control, Mk Ultra control, etc, I felt on this video that is very very very good in explaining how the body works, how the mind works, and the impact of energies (sound, emf, electricity, heat, etc).

It is a long video, but it explained very well what mind entrainment is about, although the author, Nick Begich, is orienting his talk for health improvement.

Yes i have a friend that is on this game.. It is only by invite and he asked for an invite then 2 weeks or so later got accepted and received the passcode to get access. then you choose a side. the negative or the positive.
the main objective is to take over portals and keep them. you can go all out alone or build a group to obtain them.
there is and will be much more to it but for now I think it is a member build up.

GTFO ... This is TPTB figuring out how to screw around with the role playing crowd. Maybe it's a way to activate people? This has bad news all over it, seriously. Maybe not the game itself, but the idea, or intent of the idea. Fast forward this idea 30 years ... same span as the Macintosh has been around.

It's like they found a way to suck people in deeper without them knowing it.

Seems like the game is a way of mining people for the way they think, their cleverness, who they are, etc. Sort of like the participants pointing a finger at themselves and saying, "See how clever I am!"

    Yikes!

Let's leave aside for a moment those who are already awake, those who chose 'side' and go for the rest of society. It can be pretty interesting to try and indicate the tendencies of people towards negative and positive. There is no easier way of examining the issue than through a game. By providing a real world situation under a cover of a game, I believe it helps them 1- to perdict where the majority of people prefer to belong, to the "enlightents" or to the "opposition"
2- this game helps to program the participants and implant their head with specific movements and ideas expected of them when the time comes, sounds unreal, but can actually be very real. what better way to gather facts and details on the mindset of parts of society through an innovative game.

i think they are testing the waters with this one, google are getting malicious by the day, first the google glasses, now this, isn't it also scary that google recently offered some town several years free gigabyte internet from google, it feels like a monitoring program of some sorts? its scary what they can get away with, who knows what they are planning in the future.

Default Possible survey from TPTB via a video game named ''Ingress'' to know witch side you are? Pros and cons of letting the aliens come to earth.

My husband told me about this tonight ! I was stunned about how this new game could be a good tool to know if we are ready to live with our brothers in other universe or to integrate in the poeple's mind the fact that they are comming on earth !

Ingress, a game with a Google GPS following you in real life asking you to go in your towns to gained territories dividing the humans in two groupes: The resistants and the illuminated. To play Ingress, you have to let it track you with google maps everywhere you go in order to claim territories in the name of your team.

Here is a link to Youtube for a better explanation:

Wow! So if you get three portals unlocked, you then 'own' the triangle shaped control field area, which then deems all players in that area as your 'mind units'...I wonder at which point they would switch this game into live mode without telling them?!

Whoever is playing this is basically not only giving up their complete continual whereabouts, but also their personality traits, game plans and IQ level and ability for cracking codes and hacking.

Great way to recruit new agents huh

Ingress is a data gathering device for Google Maps. Basically, the game encourages people to go around taking photos of stuff which Google maps then adds to its database.

This is what the Windows Phone Community has to say about it:
Quote Architecture that motivates and utilizes users as the means for capturing geographical data of a desired location. The architecture incentivizes users (e.g., large numbers of mobile-phone and mobile-computer users) to provide the data in the form of geolocation information trails and images captured by user devices. Thus, users take multiple pictures, for example, and can validate existing coverage of specific points of interest based on variable needs of the requestor. One motivational technique is by using augmented reality (AR) games, which include shooting targets associated with the point of interest (e.g., a street). Thus, the game can be designed for the data accumulation, which includes visual data. Additionally, the architecture can determine the areas or points of interest for validation and/or additional coverage by comparing live video data to an image database to decide of the need for update
So basically, they have gamers doing all the legwork for Google for absolutely no payment and they wont be using those google cars anymore, you know, the ones which were stripping data out of people's home wifi hubs: Google fined again for Wi-Fi data collection

They are right about one thing in the advertising of the game -"The World Around You Is Not What It Seems"

    Peace & Love
    -x-

Default Re: Possible survey from TPTB via a video game named ''Ingress'' to know witch side you are? Pros and cons of letting the aliens come to earth.

seems like a pretty damn genius move to me.

I have ingress, I had to see what it's about, so far it seems highly targeted at populated areas as there's not much going on in the virgin islands. The game has a huge disclaimer at the start that clearly tells you that you will be giving up E V E R Y thing your phone holds (data wise), it's not shy about it & it's not hidden in a multi-page EULA.

I have to do annual security training (IT) for my job it's been recently converted into a "game" like system where you compete for points by answering questions that align with the security training.

This just seems like a "smart" way to get free data... I'm an adult, I can choose (and often do) to poison my body with Alcohol, why can't I choose to be a data collection agent for some corporation?

I think this "game" is strange but don't feel it's nefarious enough to be overly concerned.

Though I'm also of a mind that basically everything I own that has internet connection is "up for grabs" data wise... I have no illusion of privacy anymore.

BTW, I choose enlightened,... mostly due to the "eye of Ra" symbolism..
