Forget Scientology, celebrities are now falling for an even more sinister 'religion':
The Satanic sex cult that's snared Peaches

Monday, 22 April 2013 10:53 Posted by David Icke

'Taken at face value it was an innocent enough remark, encouraging friends to
explore 'a belief system to apply to day-to-day life to attain peacefulness'.

But when Peaches Geldof chose to share her 'religious' convictions with her 148,000
followers on Twitter, it lifted the lid on a much more sinister world than first
impressions would suggest. The socialite, 24, is a devotee of Ordo Templi Orientis,
known as OTO, and even has the initials tattooed on her left forearm.'

Quote A former FBI agent, Ted Gundersen, who investigated Satanic circles in LA,
found that Crowley’s teachings about 'raising demons to do one’s bidding'
suggested human sacrifice, preferably of 'an intelligent young boy'.

Entertainment industry occultism exposed in one of the mainstream media outlets? The world has clearly turned inside out and upside down.

When covert satanism becomes overt, this can mean two things:

    1. It is sooo much worldwide and there is now so much people in it that they can go in the open and the advert and subliminal stuff thrown at us relentlessly is working

    2. They are becoming desperate to get as many members and believers as possible.

    Or both

Wow, just did some research to find out who this Peaches is...it will never cease to amaze me the people that the masses tend to be fascinated by.

My two cents is that it is not a bad thing, anything that brings attention to the fact that celebrities and rich folk explore the occult can't hurt, maybe somebody will actually take the time to learn something...and expose some of the real, actual, concerning practices and beliefs of some of the more influential folks.

I'm aware of the OTO. To call them "Satanic" is misleading, because it's really more "Thelemic". Thelema is a philosophy invented by Crowley (Thelema means Will in Greek.) No one's going to make you worship Satan there, or even make you believe in Satan. So that's a bit of sensationalism that goes all the way back to when Crowley was alive. A sex cult? Not really. I mean people in it engage in sex magick privately or ritually, but so do some Tantric Buddhists. Sexual energy work doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing. It's the intent behind it that's important, and that varies from one person to the next. They are a magickal order. There are lots of orders out there, but the OTO gets a lot of attention because Aleister Crowley was the head of it at one point.

I have some friends that are really big fans of Aleister Crowley (I am *NOT* a fan, though I did enjoy his novel "Diary of a Drug Fiend", I must say) so I have looked into the OTO and have a general sense of what they are about. It's mostly about realizing one's "True Will" as they call it (whatever that may be) and being in contact with ones "Holy Guardian Angel". I read a book once by Lon Milo Duquette that someone loaned me, called "My Life With The Spirits". Duquette is the head of the OTO. The book was basically about his early forays into magick, though it seemed to me that everytime he did any magickal workings, some innocent person unintentionally ended up getting harmed in some way, which really made me dislike the guy.

One friend told me he went to an OTO temple once to attend one of their "gnostic masses" or whatever it was. He said the "mass" reminded him of Catholic Church, and described the members as being basically a bunch of D&D dorks, some of whom were eyeing him lasciviously. He never went back. It's hard to generalize about the OTO, I think. Though I would say that in general they are a "Service To Self" or "Left Hand Path" organization, though I think some of the people in it consider themselves neither dark nor light. On some level I guess I understand the appeal of it, because people find the philosophy and rituals to be empowering, and I do not doubt that some people could benefit from what they offer.

Most Thelemites I've met (I say *most*, not all) are very self important, heartless, manipulative jerkwads who are Illuminati sympathizers (like they have some fantasy that one day they'll be invited in the club or something.) I am not impressed with those people at all. Though strangely, I have met many Thelemites that are very much against the Illuminati and the NWO agenda. So, as I say, it's hard to generalize. Are they really "gnostic"? Well, if you think of gnosticism as having a spectrum from the most wholesome and moral all the way to the most libertine and transgressive, they would definitely belong on the latter end of that scale. They're certainly not Christian, and seem more Pagan oriented than anything.

I'm trying to think of other celebs in the OTO. The only one I can think of is Marilyn Manson. I know, what a surprise. But I'm not even sure how serious he is about it. He seems more into drugs and booze than anything (not unlike Mr. Crowley.) David Bowie I read somewhere was a member, but I'm not sure. Could they be some sort of recruiting wing for the Illuminati? I think some of the people who join wish it were so, but I would bet precious few of their members get anywhere near that. You'd probably have to be a member of many more organizations (Freemasons, Temple of Set, Church of Satan, Golden Dawn, the Catholic Church, etc.) and generate some type of actual influence/wealth/accomplishment/connections to even get on their radar.

I hope no one thinks I'm approving of the OTO, I'm not. I just think the whole thing is a lot more boring than most would imagine. I'm sure there may be some twisted things going on among the "inner circle" of their highest ranking members, but to assume they are all blood drinking, demon conjuring pedophiles wouldn't be accurate either. But I suppose only the high ranking members would really know for sure. For everyone else on the outside, I guess their imaginations are free to run wild.

I have no problem with anybody believing in anything as long as no harm comes to
anyone that includes Catholics, Muslims, protestants, Jedi's, Buddhism,
Hindus,Druidism and atheists or any such carry on. I am the only god in my reality
and hope all my fellow gods would treat each other lovingly as John Lear would
    say 'without fear,greed or envy...LOL...

Nice post, mine was of the hope that people would see "blood-drinking sex magick satan worshiper" with 150k twats? What's this all about, and look more deeply into it.

My thing with Crowley is the most "important" or associated thing with him is the "do as thou wilt is the whole of the Law" crap. The twisting of the Wiccan sacred belief, that includes something to the effect of "as long as you do no harm".

Leaving out that from the "whole of the Law" makes you wonder whose law we're talking about, and should make you look more closely at those teachings

There is another half of that saying, and that's how they are supposed to greet each other. One Thelemite will say, "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law" and the response will be, "Love is the law, love under Will." To get an idea of what they mean by Law, you'd have to read The Book of The Law by Crowley (otherwise known as Liber Al vel Legis.) I haven't read it, and have no interest in doing so because what little I have seen seems repugnant to my personal philosophy (lots of talk about stomping on the weak, and other elitist and self indulgent crap conveyed with very vivid poetic imagery.) Supposedly the book was channeled from some spooky being, but that could have been made up by Crowley.

Interesting how "psyops by association" can do to people's mind... lots of squabbles about the above quote... yet the "Law of Free Will" is invoked left and right on this forum...

    ... go figure...

It's ironic how you only ever see half the OTO law quoted.

    The full law being:
Do as thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.
Love is the law, love under will.

Just a pack of cards anyway...

Vastly more important than the labels used, is how one's faith is implemented in his or her own life, internally and externally.

Also important to keep in mind; the sort of self-empowerment that many here espouse ('we are all gods') would be considered at least blasphemous to most traditional western religions (if not outright Satanic). After all, "thou shalt have no other gods before me".... Not that this is my stance, mind you, just some food for thought.

"Will under love" resonates at a higher frequency than "love under will" (to me at any rate).

Completely right. When you have will over love, you are screwed, the ego will take control unless you are already a master.

I was 20 when I decided that my will and brain would be in service to the heart/love, for that precise reason. I must have experienced will over love in other lifetimes so I know by now.
