The U.S. Government will never let the existence of Bigfoot become public knowledge.

Yesterday, Feb. 13 was a big day in the Bigfoot world. Dr. Melba Ketchum's long term study of Bigfoot DNA was released. Unfortunately she Published it herself. No one knows if the paper was peer reviewed and denied publication by other journals. About a month ago a Russian Scientist who claimed to have knowledge of the findings of the study leaked to the public prematurely that the study found that Bigfoot was a Human Hybrid with an unknown primate. Some of the decisions that DR. Ketchum made like commenting herself via her Facebook page with cryptic comments just made it seem kind of shady. All of this to the great joy of the U.S. Government. There is no way that the Government would allow the proof of an unknown upright walking Hominid to become fact. It seems that the whole process involving the publication was being deftly derailed so that the credibility of the paper would always be in doubt.
Does anyone remember the whole "spotted Owl" debacle back in the 80's? It was declared an endangered species and thus its habitat, the entire Pacific Northwest was declared off limits to development, basicly shutting down the entire logging industry. If Bigfoot is indeed real, what would happen then? They are found in almost every state in the country except Hawaii. Would this mean they needed to be a protected species, thus making all of the country's wilderness a sanctuary? If they are our genetic cousins and are part human would they be entitled to government protection and rights under the constituton ? So much disinformation has leaked into the pre-publication of the paper, no one will ever take it seriously even if the paper is 100% valid. If they are a true flesh and blood creature/person which I do believe they are, in my opinion they wouldnt need our protection. They have mastered the ability to hide from man for hundreds of years with only one known film footage of the creature taken by Roger Patterson took in 1967. They are only seen if they want to be seen or by accident. What does eveyone think? Would the U.S. Government go to any length to keep the knowledge of the existence Bigfoot secret?

I think they can travel inter-dimensionally . They come and go as this is their playground, teach their young and throw rocks at us when searched for. No reports of violent behavior that I've ever heard of, just curiosity and enjoying the delights of what god created here for us, that by the way we seem to be doing a great job of destroying at the same time. I remember the one video of what appeared to be a sasquatch was near the ocean , it was in the background and then moved behind the rocks and then was gone. There ability to come and go is as fascinating as is their curiosiity with us.

pyrangello, I am in the mindset that anything is possible. In most of the Forums out there in the Mainstream Bigfoot world, they scoff at anyone who believes in anything paranormal concerning Bigfoot. To most of them, Bigfoot is a flesh and blood creature of this world and thats that. I try not to express those views because I dont want to get flamed. This is the only site where I can discuss the possiblities of Bigfoot and the paranormal. I am fairly convinced that they are telepathic. And I really cant dismiss the chance that they, or a different species (because I think there are more than one species) have the ablity of passing in and out of our dimension. There is one interesting story I read about that took place at the Skinwalker Ranch. Two men were out at night looking for God only knows what because anything and everything happens there. Suddenly one of the men spotted what looked like a lighted doorway appeared and a Bigfoot stepped out of it, then the doorway vanished. Now that is something I would like to see!

Nature spirits. That is what I think they are, at least partly anyway because they do have a definite physicality. Telepathic maybe, or at least in tune with nature enough to sense a human coming from miles away.

Bigfoots have been clocked at speeds up to 30 mph, They have extremely large eyes, which they use in night hunting. They basically have built in night vision Their ear canals are almost the size of quarters so they probably hear has good has a deer. Adult Orangutan's have the strength of 10 men and they are quite a bit smaller than a adult bigfoot. I can see why some
people think that they have telepathy. Physically they are far more advanced than a human.

I can't believe no-one's caught a big-foot in a gin-trap or some other way by now - no-one's even found a corpse of one.

A Bigfoot being is as intelligent as it is strong. I am of the opinion that the reason no one has ever found a corpse is because they too bury their dead. Since they live the some of the most remote places on Earth, it makes it that much more unlikely that they will ever be found.

I am also of the opinion that Bigfoot is not a hybrid of anything. We humans are the hybrids. Hybrids of Bigfoot and Neanderthals which produced Cro-Magnon's about 50,000 BCE.

I loved Star Wars as a kid( still do as a matter of fact), and the Bigfoot thread reminded me about Chewbacca, great speculation in a fun way imo, I wonder what George Lucas knows or perhaps he was doing his Herr Sh!tzundgiggles act when he incorporated the Chewie character in Star Wars.

I don't believe the "Gods" could/can create DNA, but they can certainly splice what is already here. This in and of itself is a representation of a quantum jump in intelligence; a being that can become a creator god, splice multiple existing species DNA to create a new being which nature would never have created on its own and then have, say, an entire planet worship it. When you consider the technology involved with some of these elder races, absolutely anything becomes possible.

Good thoughts Snookie, I would add to it, the Bigfoot may have highly evolved survival skills but it still needs protection, there may be an underground recognition of this. Try and think of Dr Melba's Ketchum's (interesting name!) action as a plus. It has put it on the map, think of the situation with Pons and Fleishman when they by-passed the scientific community in order to put "alternative" energy (since they themselves never called it "Cold Fusion" initially) on the map. It is out there now. It will get publicity, and it will now start circulating in public consciousness. Just the fact that people are starting to wake up to the fact that there is an agenda of suppression that is going on is a huge step forward (thanks to all the secret societies running govt agencies) . I think she should team up with Lloyd Pye and get this show on the road... If she is smart and they are smart enough to figure out they need each other. Otherwise individual selfish interests could limit their perception of the unlimited potential that is really available.

Definitely another Bigfoot sized HUGE can of worms, I am also fascinated by her idea that Bigfoot DNA is relatively recent... what did they say 10-20,000 years? that supports my theory that Bigfoot is a 'backup genome' to protect human DNA in the event of a global catastrophe...

She can open your eyes with her work with Dolphins in Hawaii and her contact with Sasquatch in the North American Continent. It is a bit out there for me, but for some reason I just get the vibe that it is all true.

Snookie, the Neanderthals had bigger brain cavities than humans, who know what is possible. Nick Pope, the former Head of the Ministry of whatever took place for UFO's wrote a book that had the Grey aliens were actually Neanderthals who moved underground to survive the "barbarian Human's". They developed the "UFO's" that we see and are desperately trying to get off of earth to survive on their own. I wouldn't be surprised if that story was at least part true.
