He's fine.

Not too far away from this very beautiful place (but several thousand feet lower) -- in Ecuador. Watching world events closely, and getting prepared.

Any clever preps you wish to share Bill?

Bill has been sharing extremely valuable prep information (specifically) for well over a year now . . . some of the more sobering information in the last 6 months.

I for one have taken his suggestions and provided information to heart and researched in depth on my own. It is clear to me where we on a global level are headed and I choose to be far out of the way while the chaos continues to ensue for the next several years.

I also am extrapolating as much as possible what this new global world will be. I have also been planning and preparing for this new future and how I can adapt and use it to my benefit and advantage for my community around me.

Hi BluBillfire, thanks for your reply, i am aware of what and why Bill shared in the past, my question was what HE was doing now, maybe some practical tips for us humble people who dont have the cash to spare to relocate and what not, i have food, vitamins and minerals, clean water, something to prepare and clean it with and a small radio and some medical suplies and some tools ( miniaturised) and o yeah some foil insulated cooling bags for small electronics, seeds are nearly impossible to get but i have tons of sprouting stuff ( a bit seedy), but what have i missed, thats the question i have for Bill.

There's a joke here that the native plants fall into three categories:

1. Some are superfoods.
2. Some will kill you.
3. The rest will send on the trip of a lifetime.

The problem is all about figuring out which is which.

Thanks for the photos Bill I have been wondering what sort of species exist in those forests, fascinating landscape, high mountains with no snow? Is that right?
I was thinking that would make a rainforest environment that is temperate at the upper elevations and tropical at the lower elevations with many mixed up areas inbetween. A truly magnificent place! There ought to be some special waterfalls there.

May I add...

Being prepared is not really something to do with an event that is approaching, but the gradual transformation we are well on the way with.

Being "prepared" right now is wherever possible, growing food, securing water or a plan to secure water (a tested plan!); engineering tolerance into your life so that you can overcome inconveniences with a smile.

Reconnect with the natural world as much as your situation will allow you.

Learn to live a manual life where much of our automation is broken, breaking .... or simply changing from one way of being to another.

Learn to value the resources that we have which are hithertoo undervalued (think about Bills pictures higher up in this thread) and are disrespected, and let go of those that are overvalued and artificial. Be a good steward to the Earth.

Observe the way in which the powers that be try to make this strategy as hard as possible and use all means to work around them.

Have faith that there is a reason for everything and you do have a hand in the design of all this, even if you have forgotten that fact.

Most important, be happy, joyful and kind.

As long as the cost of living isn't real high there where bill lives,
i would very much consider moving there, if i ever get up enough

My take on being prepared, is being able to grab all that I need to survive, in my left hand, a good knife in my right hand, and runnin like H-ll. chuckle chuckle.
