Default We the People Are Tired of the Authorities Saying "DERRR ...WE DON'T KNOW!"

I wanted to reiterate my frustration with such events as the West, Texas fertilizer factory explosion, BP Gulf disaster, 9/11 building demos, Iraq IEDS, etc...

I just wanted to know, is it REALLY POSSIBLE that with the advanced surveillance techniques and whatnot our country is bankrupting itself for, why SO MANY recent events remain unsolved mysteries that serve only to cement the hold of tyranny upon us?

I remember the days when you could walk all the way to an airport terminal without a boarding pass, instead of being parted from your family by the TSA checkpoint. I remember being able to walk on top of Grand Coulee Dam instead of looking out through a chain link fence at my old memories.

But will America remember? Without freedom, how can we learn to love freedom?

P.S. I can't believe they called it the "patriot act"

AMEN...and how about with all the CSI/Law & Order detective stuff we eat up so much on the teevee--why does everyone accept that on the huge public crimes we can never get a conclusive "case closed"??

Quote P.S. I can't believe they called it the "patriot act"
you mean the USA PATRIOT act...start calling it by its real name if you wanna really feel silly:

Uniting (and) Strengthening America (by) Providing Appropriate Tools Required (to) Intercept (and) Obstruct Terrorism Act of 2001

when I was young , we didn't have to lock our doors... students didn't even think of bringing a knife to school much less a gun... freedom is taken on baby step at a time until it's too late to stop them without a huge ruckus ...America was born out of rebellion against the tyranny of England and it's taxes on the citizens, rather than pay , we will just go make our own country ... I'm worried about the future for my grandchild ... what kind of world will we leave her and her friends ???

I listened to Cliff High's latest predictions today and I heard: "People will understand Homeland Security & the Govt is Nazi. Politicians will be closely followed by people who know they are really “sell outs” and will eventually be replaced." Lets hope this happens soon!
