this is one of those videos, that what is shared hits, and then is the moment of your life flashing before your eyes wondering what we still have time to do...

then the chuckle of been here done that so many times before...

but the orbs picked up by the space station cameras are awesome...

with so many looking for existance of ETs I'd toss out the Fear porn aspect of the narative and just share the video... it'd go viral without the terror.

I wouldn't share it with friends or family, oops...

I already did here at Avalon...

but this is a very special family...

Just got done reading some of the Hopi prophecies. Absolutely feel like I was led to them, and to this site (link below) imparticular. I know nothing about the site itself but the content hit home like an arrow finds it's mark. I will not tell you what this link says, it is up to you to read it, if you feel the need to do so. What I will say is this: This year, I have been seeing things in the sky that I have never seen before in my life, and I'm 56. I am old enough to remember what the night sky looks like without light interference, and without having to go to the mountains to do it.

Earlier this year, I saw two totally round rainbows (one was within the other) at the sky's zenith. The second thing I saw was a huge ring around the sun, not small... huge. Yes, this second was surely ice crystals but never before have I seen the likes of such as this. Its going to get rocky, probably so. That's OK with me, just as long as we keep on recognizing ya can't take, take, take from mother earth. We must continue to change our ways, always toward the better way to coexist with nature. That is the way it is, there is no other way.

    • Am I doing enough?
~Yes, I am doing what I came here to do. Funny thing is that I've been questioning my "purpose" for most of my life--always feeling I was meant to do something. Imagine my surprise when none of the 10 year plans I created and re-created from 12 years old-26 didn't pan out, lol. And for a long time I felt I was off track, and not fulfilling my potential-- but experience, time, and maturity have revealed it was not me that was off track; it was the illusion of reality that was obstructing the truth right in front of me.

My name literally means "worthy of love" and for a long time I thought that meant being loved by others, looking externally for approval/ acceptance. It has been a long road getting to this point, but I now know it means that I am worthy of love, and to do that means loving myself in the same unconditional manner in which I love others. I have also learned that when you love all of yourself, from the gritty and graceful ---that your even more capable of loving and valuing every person and thing that you interact with in life. Perhaps, it was the dark moments I was exposed to, more specifically the darkness I seen others consumed in because they could not accept and truly love themselves' that actually illuminated me to this pearl of wisdom. So much pain, and destruction is wrought by those who are too afraid to love themselves wholly--they fracture their own self leaving those shards to cut into others in their path.

So using my own imperfect life as a model to loving divinely, I am here to help others discover how to and the importance of loving one's self unconditionally. And no, this is not something as easy as just saying it than believing it-- but actually seeing you as you are, being accountable to yourself and your effect on everything surrounding you, and taking ownership of your life and reactions to the circumstances of life. Of course, I don't and won't have a professional title that will describe my purpose, I just need to be open to the opportunity to do it.

Even during the most mundane or little moments since I was a little girl, I have always had this ability to leave a positive transformative imprint on others--most often unintentionally. I can see that now-- and I am embracing it now. Perhaps in my writing, teaching, or the random conversation with a stranger; I hope that I can give that spark that leads someone to their own truth and knowing that they are so much more than what they realize.

Ironically, I find myself as an unemployed single parent with a Master's degree in TESOL...lol... and living in a place that has no need for ESL and full of people desperate to wake up. Since I find myself in this momentary unemployment, I am still productive and I can say yes to question 2-- though I'll keep doing more. Now, I am acquiring information and learning new skills while keeping my eyes open to an opportunity that will work in harmony with my spiritual purpose and supporting my family's material existence. I know I am very close to it, or I just may have to create it.

Bill, you are right, I am very aware that I am not just in the movie, but I'm also directing it---from an outsider's view of my life, I probably appear more lost than ever---but I am more sure of where I am and where I'm going than I ever have been before.

I would replace this last word 'unintentionally' with 'unconditionally' and then you would have a truer picture of your soul.

I find myself too, at a low point in this physical realm, but by God I am joyful. Why?
I can only imagine it is something outside of myself, something spiritual pulling me on,
    pulling us all on...

Not the same person I was seven years ago. That's when I set out on a journey seeking knowledge. In a few short months that journey will end, and another part of my life will begin. Today, not alone, we hoisted a fan on a stick. Yup, we put up a wind turbine. Seems like such a far cry from the central telcommunications office I used to work in for so many years. And even farther from the technology I know we have. All the same, we connected the guy wires to the galvanized tubing and sent the old Southwest H40 up. The sitings no good, the winds don't amount to much 'round here but... it would definitely keep a water pump goin'.

The capstone for these years of my life will peak in May. I am working on putting together the first Sustainable Energy/Living Symposium for Wilmington, NC. I have a clear vision of the event in my mind (I better;-). Would really like to see some North Carolinians come together and look at NC with fresh eyes; see her attributes, and her weaknesses. Get a real idea of where we want to go, what we want the state to look like in 7 years, 14, years, 21, years etc... What IS important in the big picture, and what the heck just isn't any more. Are fish in the ocean more important than cargo ships from China? How about water verses fracking, or rail vs more highways? Passive solar architecture, or apartment complexes built with more than one function, and built with materials recycled materials yes, but built with a frickin' shelf life longer 40-50 years. Rain water collection, town orchards, and fish farms, animal rescue and husbandry. Giving back some of what we have taken from the air, the land and the sea.

Maybe it is too late but that's just not a good enough reason for me to quit trying cause may its not. Even so, it will at least be a little easier for the next guy walking down the road.

I spent many younger years pondering why I was here and wondering if I had some great message for the world. Eventually all the mystery and confusion died down and I realised that our mission can be as small as a simple act of kindness. Service to others, in whatever form we choose, is what makes life worth living.

Bill, For those of us (and I really hope I am not the only one here) who don't know why we are here, what do you recommend? Because, I am feeling very lost lately. I know that I am here for a specific purpose. I get that. I just don't know what it is.and I feel time is slipping through my fingers, and I am not fulfilling my duty. Could it be that some of us are suppose to just "be"? I have wasted a lot of energy and anxiety on this very topic.
Accept this not knowing as a phase in your personal and spiritual growth process. It is great that you acknowledge that you are feeling lost, I get the impression a lot of people skip this step by suddenly claiming to have all the answers. Only when you are lost first you an find your way It is a frustrating phase and I am only moving beyond it very recently and I did not do anything to find my way. For a while I just had to stay lost. Do not look outward, go inward, but without actively searching. Often when you are not searching or focusing something will come to you almost unnoticed which will lead the way. At least that is how it works for me My very best wishes to you!

Recently a very clear thought came into my head. I was not actively thinking, in fact I was delevering the mail (very boring). But suddenly I thought: I am meant to be on earth. Then an inner dialogue started and I was testing myself intuïtively. So what if there came a spaceship with a beautiful galatic family to taken you to a better world? I would honoustly say: No, I will sit this one out, I will stay with Gaia. The same goes when Gaia would split, I would not want to leave anyone behind or leave (one version of) Gaia in a terrible state.
So I do not know exactly what I am meant to do in concrete terms but I know so far that I am meant to be here and stay here. So far that is enough for me!
While growing up I felt often like I wasn't enough and when I first started to feel like I could do some things right it was never enough for me. But looking as an adult towards the child that I was I would say I did more than enough and that I was much stronger than I thought.
I think most of the time we are doing a lot more than we think, so the challenge is not to do more but to become aware of what you are actually doing and of the effects you have on people. By lifting the burden of doing more and by becoming aware of what you have been doing so far (as well as forgive yourself for what you have not been doing so far for whatever reason), then you can create an incredible freedom within yourself which gives you the possibility to truly experience the path you were/are on anyway and it allows you to go any direction you want to go.

The answer, as I understand it, is to make a choice. A choice between service to self, or service to others and then to follow a path where one acts according to the selected principle.
Question: are these choices really seperate? Over the years I have grown a bit allergic for the phrase 'serving others'. I do not believe this is always a good thing. I think I know what you are trying to say but often I find these terms misleading like serving yourself is bad and serving others is good. I do not even think you can truly 'serve' others or possitively influence others when you have not served yourself first. I believe you need to be in line with your own spiritual path first to have a positive influence on others. And then you do not even have to actively server others to have a positive influene. Just being there, expressing your energy, will have an effect on people, and on everyone in a different way which you cannot even control intentionally. A lot of people also totally disregard themselves just to try very hard to be there for others. This is counterproductive and sacrifices the self which is a shame You agree?

Hail fellow traveler, seeker, teacher and learner. Well met!

    Yes I agree.

If you have read this thread, you will see that in it I had an opportunity to learn a few things about stating what our singular purpose may be and also the error of speaking for those other than myself. I will try not to make the same mistake again. I do agree with your post, and the various dynamics of service and what the motives might be. There are paradoxes there I can't solve and wont pretend to try. I think it comes down to balance and proportions.

When thinking in terms of STS vs STO, I think these concepts are useful in as far as they can go, but at the point things get complicate and mixed up, they may defeat themselves - unsolvable paradox to us, as they are rooted in the operation of factors outside of space and time.

I wonder if I sat down and tried to write the post I did at the start again, what would come out?

I am here. It may be for a purpose. It probably is, as I do not believe there are any mistakes to the way things are.

I do not understand all of the things I can see and be physically aware of, let alone the things I can't be aware of with the limited (but expanding) senses that I do have.

I strongly suspect I am a wanderer and the more water that passes under the bridge, the more that this is affirmed to me. This fact is not really important, but I wonder if the same applies in your case? ( I felt a spark of recognition if you want to know that. )

I follow a positive path - increasingly, I realize that its not all about me

I have learned that it is also important to serve myself. I should do more of that than I do actually do, but yes I have to work to maintain my physical vehicle and I don't consider it a deviation from an STO path. The more balance I find in this, the happier I am.

I hope this answers you, thanks for asking me.

Service to others is good, it could be as simple as cooking eggs for the one that takes care of the chickens. Service is like water it flows around goes where it is needed to make the surface level.

Are we making a difference? I am starting to see cracks in the old paradigm are you? I do not like the title of this video report but do like the contents! worth a few mins. IMHO

In daily life I used to be pretty much in the background. I do not dislike interaction with other people
but I work alone. I don't know why but recently I noticed a change. All of a sudden people start coming
to me in high expectation of advice. Even in areas where they know I have no knowledge or experience.

I have felt all my life that my main role in this life would be 'way-pointer'. Nothing more nothing less.
I fulfilled that role in the past but less and less in the last decades. It feels like am 'activated' again.
It feels like ... the time is here.

In the early Summer of 1997, having come naturally to the end of a productive period/project, where achievements had been achieved, personal hopes met, and many challenges & satisfactions experienced in the process, I had reached a definite cadence point: a feeling of completion and of 'what now?'.

The 'what-now?' question led intuitively to the broader, wider, sense-of-purpose question; 'what is my purpose' - or 'what we may be here to do' - the idea that Bill has used as his thread title.

As the 'finish point' of this productive period had been in London (UK) in the Spring of that year, and being utterly in need of a time-out, I followed my intuition to return to that city to spend a week or so in free-flow; walking the parks and the embankments, and allowing thoughts to come and go, but, all of it underpinned by this burning, inner issue concerning 'purpose'.

(I should mention that I have always felt 'at home' in London: arriving there is always accompanied by a 'coming home' vibe, and leaving it has always been a bit of a pain - even though there is no 'rational' reason for this.)

Cutting a long story short, the night arrived where I was pushing 'myself' strongly for some leads, some guidance, on the question of MY purpose. I wasn't being humble about asking the question either - I firmly believe we are guided if we ask for it - I was demanding a response. Cheeky, I know! Sitting at the desk in my hotel room, I filled pages and pages with hand-written streams of 'stuff'. The process went on all night, and I went with it.

It was late the following day when I got around to actually reading what had become a fairly hefty volume of verbiage...... and right there at the end of it was this one sentence, the proverbial (for me) Eureka:

OVERCOME CHALLENGE AND HELP OTHERS TO DO THE SAME.

It was that simple a statement. So simple. So obvious. And it so hit that 'inner' nail on the head, I had to sit down while the penny dropped.

Most certainly, for me, it was a peak, unforgettable moment.

It is imprinted now in my dna. I can't say I always live up to it, but I can say that it is one central plank in my make-up and in the way I go about living this life.

My assignment is to help people prepare..... for something major. That's all I know. Since I was in my 20's I've helped people learn how to be prepared. First it started with my neighborhood. We lived in California back then and earthquakes were pretty common. It was the start of my visions. I turned my neighborhood watch group into an Neighborhood Emergency Services. Our neighborhood was prepared for ANY kind of emergency for at least 1 year. Just incase the Big One (earthquake) hit. I was in my 20's when I got this done and from what people told me it was the most complete tool in it's time. Flood, Hurricane, Tsunami, Flood, Tornado, Black Outs, Biological, Nuclear, Fire, Famine, I even had Terrorist Attack listed. If it was a potential danger it was listed with what to do and supplies needed.

A few years later I started working for the Sheriff's office and guess where they sent me. To a class on "How to prepare your neighborhood in case of a disaster" I couldn't believe it. They were already teaching what I had started 3 years earlier. I told the teacher I was the one that started that and my neighborhood was already prepared. He said this was a new class and asked if I wanted to teach it. I declined but said I would help give pointers of what I had done.

I moved to Ohio and about 10 years later I was listening on the radio. They were announcing a class to Prepare your neighborhood for Emergencies. I had to laugh.... It made it's way all the way to Ohio. My friend that helped me said someone asked her if they could have the info to make a book. I told her to tell them sure, the more people that know how to prepare the better. She sent me a copy of the book after it was written, it had acknowledgements to us.

Now, this year I'm receiving the same info from government classes I have to take. So it seems that my idea I had back in the 70's is spreading into the future and across America.
Prepping has come a long way from the 70's.

What got this ball rolling was the day my son burned his entire face. I grabbed my son and laid him down on the grass in my front yard and ran the hose on his face. I told my mother and sister to call 911. When the ambulance came they did nothing! They told me it would cost me a lot of money to transport my son and they said I could do it myself. I couldn't believe my ears. I said fine I told my mother to get a bowl of water and I took my son to the ER and kept him ducking his face in the water. I found out I was not at the right hospital that I had to go clear across town to the burn unit. I got my son to that hospital and he needed to have his skin scrapped every day. Wrapped in bandages with special creams. It took a few months of daily treatments. My son came out of it with out one scar on his face and the doctor said if I hadn't done what I did spraying him with the hose that he would have had a scarred face. All he lost was his freckles. I had no knowledge on how to handle an Emergency. I just heard a voice in my head say get him under water fast. So that's what I did and that's what led me to helping other people prepare for Emergencies.
