Re: A ROTHSCHILD SPEAKS OUT (May 29, 2013)
The fact that she did not know that Crowley created the thoth tarot was the sealer for me. She claims to be indoctrinated in Crowley to the fullest and learned in Tarot, yet has never even heard of one of his biggest achievements? Most of Crowleys knowledge comes from old Grimores and magical/hermetic texts. A lot of the knowledge he had, if not most, came from old translations of books. Especially ones that Mathers from the order of the golden dawn translated. What I am trying to explain here is this, most of all of Crowley works are revivals of old systems that have been around for hundreds, if not thousands of years. Yet the original thing he created, the thoth tarot, which took him something like 5-6 years to complete, is unheard of to her? There is so much information on each card, it is a treasure trove of occult knowledge in plain sight. Crowley made Frieda Harris paint some of these cards 7-8 times to get them perfect, things down to the very colors have HUGE significance. Nothing matches it in my opinion, yet she has never heard of it? I would consider this one of Crowleys greatest achievements, yet she has no idea of it and is studied in Crowley? I don't know about that one, my b.s alarms went off hardcore.
