What is manifesting?
Manifesting is not hocus pocus, and neither is it hokum. Manifesting, at its most simple, is aligning ourselves with the flow of energy – the art of inserting ourselves where-ever in the flow we wish to be.
An example?
I was working in hard country, descending a 40 degree plus rainforest slope, and it was hard, hard going. I clung to tree, shrub and vine to keep from tumbling down into the ravine. I said to myself “I wish I would find some steps to make my passage up the other side easier”.
This is where I had come from
I had sent my intent out into the world, and from that moment on, my every decision as to how I would descend, and which lines I would take, were informed by that intent. There would have been more than 20 decision points, and I made each decision without thought (except for my immediate safety!), but with complete trust. I was under no illusion that there would be a man-made set of steps awaiting me at the other side, but I was sure I would find something.
Trust.
This is what I found
In every moment of our lives, we are confronted with decision points. Most of the time, however, we have no clear purpose, direction or idea of where we wish to end up. In having no focus, we are not allowing magic to enter our lives. In setting a desired goal, and allowing “instinct” (or “gut”, or “heart”) to guide me, I opened my life up to the expression of magic.
This is manifestation in its most simple form.
This is the time and place to share experiences of manifesting, so we can all learn to trust.
Who would like to go first?
Then we can talk about other ways of manifesting if you like.
