Blue Eyes Originated 10,000 Years Ago in the Black Sea Region

"A team of researchers from Copenhagen University have located a single mutation that causes the mysterious phenomenon of blue eyes. And all blue eyed people are genetically related to a person who lived in the Black Sea region sometime between 6 – 10,000 years ago.

The research was published in the Journal of Human Genetics. A mutation in a gene called OCA2 came into being nearly 8,000 years ago. It can be definitively traced back to an ancestor from the Black Sea.

Dr. Hans Eiberg claims that before this time, every human being had brown eyes. “A genetic mutation affecting the OCA2 gene in our chromosomes resulted in the creation of a ‘switch,’ which literally ‘turned off’ the ability to produce brown eyes,” Eiberg said.

When blue-eyed peoples from Jordan, Denmark and Turkey were examined, their genetic difference was traced back to the maternal lineage according to Eiberg’s team.

The brown melanin pigment is still dominant. However, following the last Ice Age, Europeans developed this rare mutation that differentiated them from the rest of the human race.

Ninety-five percent of Europeans in Scandinavian countries have blue eyes. They are also found to have a greater range of hair and skin color.

Comparatively, Europe has a wider variety of hair color and skin pigment than is found in any other continent in the world. These mutations are recent as Europe was colonized only a few thousand years ago, say mainstream scientists.

Through interbreeding, the brunette with blue eyes was evidenced about 25,000 years ago. Researchers attribute this to ancient interbreeding with Neanderthals.

Although no Neanderthal DNA has been found in modern Homo Sapien-Sapien, mainstream science clings to this theory as fact because they haven’t come up with anything better.

“The question really is, ‘Why did we go from having nobody on Earth with blue eyes 10,000 years ago to having 20 or 40 percent of Europeans having blue eyes now?” John Hawks of the University of Wisconsin-Madison said. “This gene does something good for people. It makes them have more kids.”"

In the book of Enoch ( 7th son of the Adam) Great Grandfather of Noah. Noah's father was freaked out because Noah at his birth was fair of skin and blue eyed.
The timing of 8 to 10 thousand yrs ago coincides with the great flood. And the Ark they say settled on mount Arrarat Turkey. which is near the Black sea.

Therefore it makes sense that there was a population explosion of blue eyes after the flood in that area.

I think there's something like 3% of us world wide. Is green from a blue/brown mix or something else?

No clue... It could be an in-between color. Green eyes here too.

Hello Everyone:
Just a comment...I have found that when a child is born with blue eyes they don't always continue to have blue eyes. From experience 3 relatives had bright blue eyes and once they got to be 6 months old or so their eyes turned different colors from hazel to dark dark brown. This goes with the idea that brown eyes become prominent.

I had a girlfriend once that claimed all eyes are hazel.I have no ideal where she got that but she had green hazel eyes that would change from day to day.

Correction on the "Noah" was fair of skin and eyes. It was that NOAH who gave birth to 3 races Red White and Black, was Albino and the eyes were as the Angels with fire. Fire is what color, there are multiple colors of fire, not just blue, however after intermingling with the humans, there very well may be different colors of eyes, such as green, azure, blue, hazel, grey and others. I enjoy seeing some of the joyful time ahead according to Enoch, and we will all be free and among our Christ/God, and Creator.

Was your girlfriend colour-blind, perhaps?

Just kidding. My eyes are blue-greenish and the colour keeps changing seasonally (not quite day to day) as does my hair. I'd love to hear an explanation of that as well.

I don't believe the theory that blue eyes are 10 K years old...This idea fits with The agenda of TPTB to say we all came out

of Africa & we all evolved from apes . Does the academic who put forth the blue eyed/10K theory say we were engineered

by ETs to mine gold ? OF COURSE NOT !
I never believe what main stream academic "science" says just because they say it. I always look to see if it fits into an
agenda & this cockeyed blue eyed theory certainly does.
The Mayans had an advanced knowledge of astronomy & mathmatics . The astronomy information was based of VERY long cycles of time . Hundreds of thousands of years...The Mayans said they were given the knowledge of astromomy & time keeping from a man with BLUE EYES & blond hair....I rest my case.

I've read the universe is 46 trillion yrs old, the human lineage is 12 billion yrs old, earth is 626 billion yrs old, 646 if you count the gases and nebula forming ...
