Astral projection is just the method by which we get back across the line into the world of Spirit... where we belong. And remember also, when you do cross the line, HS/Source, is the only one that you want to Commune with. Do NOT, stop to play with others

Just imagine... can you imagine? Returning to Spirit??!! Stepping back into your Immortal Spirit Self, and retaining your Human Physical Body... and being able to manifest any "thing" or "Condition", that your little ol heart desires. Being able to jump instantly to anyplace you wish, no matter how far... being able to know what your Boss and co-worker think about you and being able to become anyway you need to be, to get that advancement and raise in salery that you are striving for. Being able to finally control your circumstances in any manor you need.

That crap you see in the movies, about not being able to help yourself, with your Power, is just more of the BS, they try to shove down our throat. When you learn how to help yourself, you will know how to help others also. Just as I am doing here, in telling you what "Really" is possible. I DO NOTHING... that you cannot do also. For it is not I, that do these things, but my HS/Source, that lives within me, that does these things that I wish for IT to do. Just as YOUR HS/Source will do for you.

All you need to get there, is to act... like the Immortal Spiritual Being that YOU, really are. And don't worry you won't abuse your Power, cuz your HS/Source, won't give you more than you are prepared to handle. Remember, your HS/Source, knows you, and is a whole bunch smarter than you. ccc.

I'm a little confused. Now that you have contact with HS and are able to manifest any "thing" or "Condition", have you set an example of how to live very comfortably with all the monetary resources you want?

Not too long ago (haven't found your post yet) I seem to remember your comment about needing to live frugally and needing to eat (unhealthy and inexpensive) fast food.

I may have that wrong, but I'll keep looking. Hope my memory is not failing.

Ron, you and I are basically in the same place, so let me give you my 2-cents worth. First, we both have to stop thinking about things so much. We're up in our heads, and we need to get down into our heart more, and feel. For instance, when we were kids and wanted to learn how to ride a bicycle. We "could" have analyzed the heck out of it. Read books, listen to teachers, watch training movies, etc.. But that can only show us that it is possible to ride that contraption called a bicycle. At some point we have to get on that bike ourselves. We know we have to pedal, but only by riding do we get a feel for pedaling. We know we have to turn the handlebars, but only by actually being on the bike do we learn to feel how to balance the bike.
Forget about all the oooohs and aaaaaaahhhhhs of what sirdipswitch does. Completely forget about that. That's his journey. Right now I think that stuff is a distraction for us. We need to let that stuff go. Our goal is simply to get out-of-body. Then to go to our H/S.. From that point on, our journey will begin. Who knows where it will take us. Always read that very last line (small lettering) in sirdipswitch's post. Don't follow in SDS's out-of-body-fart-trail. Let's make our own. Be you, and don't give up!!!

I don't plan to give up getting connected to Higher Self using OBE to do so. I've had two "sessions" using Buhlman's techniques so far. The first lasted around a month and was not consistently used every day. The second was intense for 45 days, usually twice each day. No joy.

The only recognizable connection I have now is intuition, dreaming, the radio oracle (e.g., what are the words to the song I'm whistling), and a few times I've heard a big booming voice from some other reality. I want a better connection, a two way connection, and be confident that what I "hear" is from HS and not BS from some imposter. It will take some time to develop trust when it does happen, nurtured by answers to my never ending and sometimes challenging questions. The truth is never hurt by shinning more light on it.

I know me. And I have almost endless patience with someone who genuinely wants to learn what I have taught (electronics, dancing, self sufficiency, flying an airplane, etc.). I expect HS to have those same characteristics, just like little 'ol me.

If I were to guess at why I've not made more progress with having a 2 way conversation with HS, the answer would be that I am trying to get ahead of some unknown schedule, that there are other (unknown) things to experience that are not yet complete. Wish I knew for sure.

There are a few here on Project Avalon who talk about their experience with OBE, and some will declare the experience of others to be invalid because it is so different than their own understanding. In my humble opinion, realities are big places to explore, and not everyone's experience will correlate.

The reason I ask questions is to increase understanding as intuition leads the way. Always checking intuition along the way and looking for some level of confirmation.

There are tricksters out there willing to tell a thousand truths just to sell a single lie.

I agree with the getting ahead of schedule stuff. Unfortunately, when we were little kids we were brainwashed/programmed to think that everything has to be on a schedule. I blame that on Orson Welles! Yup. Those dang commercials -- "We will sell no wine before it's time". Yup. Brainwashing/programming an entire generation into thinking we have to wait.

I keep talking about Intentions, and be-ing care-full of that which you ask for... because you just might get it. cc. Be-very-specific-in all that you do ask of your HS. ccc. Looky here what you just told your HS.... "that there are other (unknown) things to experience that are not yet complete." This is like tellin your HS, to finish ALL unfinished business, "Before" going out of body.

Intentions!!! You are done, finished, this is it, the one and only thing that you wish to do. There is nothing else you need. Zero in on one thing and one thing only, and then do that thing unitl you get out.

That was why I turned off my computer for a month. I didn't want to be "distracted", by anything or anyone, UNTIL, I was out. For seven months, I was just like you. I was thinking of "everything" I should be trying, instead of that which I was doing. That was why I got a clock, and said the very same thing every 20 seconds, for 30 minutes, for 30 days. George was "screemin SHUT UP", by the time HE finally jerked me out of body, to shut me up. He knows me, and knew, that I was prepared to go as long as it would take. That was the"methodology" that I chose for me. I cleared my mind of ALL distraction, for 30 days. On day 31 George had, had enough of that "S", and I ploped out like it was the natural thing to do.

You may choose any methodology that you wish, but be specific. Your HS knows that tomoro, you will try something else, and will just wait until you are "finished' trying difernt things. cccc.

I bought the book, although I'm not so sure it's necessary. Most of the book was about other people's obe experiences. You may want to go back and read through this thread again, and pick out some of the instances about techniques used to get obe. A couple of people have posted links that you can click on that will give you a method to have an obe. I'm not saying you shouldn't buy the book. Just saying to pay attention to what's posted here. It might do the trick. If you feel inclined to buy the book, by all means, do so. As to your question #1 above, you'll find the answer to that in this thread as well. Have a ball!!

The only risk that you take is the risk that the nature of your search may change a bit, once you experience life outside the physical. Proof/verification/experimenting will not be as important as they seem to be, now! An inevitable 'inward' searching will take over! So beware of that! You will not become possessed during an obe. You may find yourself in unfamiliar environments, but you will always find your way back to your body!

Thanks, not finding my way back to my body was my biggest concern after reading it would be possible to talk to your physical self while 'out of body' (really curious to see what that is about).

While waiting to get the book I am going to read up on the "Adventures Beyond The Body" thread which was suggested here to catch up.

I have never been afraid of not finding my body should I ever succeed going out-of-body, nor do I worry about it. I do always wonder when I hear someone say (as Jake just did) "you will always find your way back to your body":

They are invaluable, to have so that you can read all about others experience with Astral Projection, and build a data-base of knowledge on the many things that there are to be aware of, so that you know how to avoid the things you do not wish to experience. I purchase all mine on Amazon dot com. I find them to cost less than my local bookstore, and they always arrive in 4 days, by regular mail.

My friends already think I am nuts and I have only succeeding in making a few of them nuts too now. The obsession could be a concern. I have a wife and life and she already sees these forums as an obsession. I said try because of a lot of the early posts in these two threads I have been reading seem to have failed attempts. Though now I have been introduced to another thread by Jake. How many of you are doing this? Now that is a poll I would like to see.
