I would love to get the kit but I don't get 300$ often to spend on anything.
Hell just saving literal pennies is getting to be a trial these days.
I think I will become an affiliate tho.

Geez. Do an internet search. I've bought whole sprout kits for $50 on Amazon. And, what happens when they run out -- I mean you can't hold onto the seeds forever...

I'm sure this is a fantastic thing, but I also think educating yourself on foraging is a good thing to know as well. Here's a link to find things in your own state http://www.wildcrafting.net/states.php

I've sprouted seeds for years and sprouting seeds are a large part of my food storage...but a mason jar and cheese cloth work fine in a pinch. I got my jar lids...a set of three sizes for under $5.00 (at a health food store) that fit a common mason jar and I pick up a bag of sprouting seeds each week with my regular shopping. Alfalfa seeds. radish, broccoli, mung beans...damn near anything can be sprouted...high nutrition and cheap cheap cheap.

All these "survival" strategies do is promote fear.

We don't need to put money in the pockets of these fools.

Get yourself a good lil book on edible plants and you're good to go. I know where I can borrow one and it's far more useful than these pre-packaged (probably with toxic chemicals too!) survival kits that are sold at butt-raping prices.

you can get bio wheat or even fodder-wheat and sprout it. it goes for a few bucks per kg and you can store it for years.

    dare to prepare!

this fear mongering BS is only for the unprepared to justify their laziness...

The important thing about sprouting seeds is that they are a source of high powered nutrients, can be done inside in indirect sunlight. Something to consider if for whatever reason one cannot plant them outside in the soil or if one doesn't have anything else to eat.

I agree though that it can be done at a fraction of the price from scratch at home.
Grain and legume seeds are relatively inexpensive to buy in bulk.

What you said is true, so I am going to become an affiliate and when they pay me to advertise for them, I can get there stuff later or pay someplace cheaper, either way I win..

And as for foraging and such before the cold settled here in taxes, I went thru my back yard and found about 20 pounds worth of kindling for my fire place, and these folks all ways toss there dead tree trunks on the side so I stock up on that as well, wow not only did I just save on electric but i get a nice fresh fire roaring to. just love fireplaces.

A lot of folks just don't know what they got in there back yard and how much it can save them.

    ROFL!!
Almost $300 for a canning jar and lid?
    Oh my!
As a kid, my mother sprouted alfalfa, and bean sprouts. Great for chinese dishes! lol
It's simple people. Please don't think you have to buy an expensive kit, or equipment.
Find an empty mayonaise jar (washed), put your seeds in it, put cheese cloth over the top, and secure it with a rubber band! (or canning ring with out lid if you have one. Or even cut a hole in the middle of the plastic mayo lid)
after soaking seeds for several hours or over night, let drain upside down in dish drainer rack, or collander for maybe an hour, then set on a counter.

Hardest thing you might find, is trying to find seed that doesn't have innoculents, and such on it.
Look for organic, and natural seed. (health food store might have them. I'm lucky to have farm land around me. I just pick wheat berries out of the field! lol)

Thank you for bringing up this great idea. However, the package as mentioned seems very expensive, and the parts are easily gathered up for a lot less.

If i'm in a position where i have to rely on my delta force sprouting kit i'm gonna assume that things have gotten pretty bad.
Give it 3 days before the food runs out and people will be pretty desperate. physically, mentally and emotionally drained you will be on your last legs that is so long as you have water.

For me, my house or a city of any kind is the last place i would want to be.
I'll get my bugout bag and go deep into a forest or remote place.
Did you know you can eat grass so long as it is grass? Dandelion greens, lime tree leaves etc.

Get a collins pocket Gem of food for free, a catapult and bow and arrow or crossbow.
Think the cows, sheep, horses, goats, geese, ducks, wood pigeons etc will go hungry?
So eat them if you can kill them

I went raw vegan for 6 weeks until i gave in for the carbohydrates again. I didn't realize there are other sources apart from bread pasta etc.
We are essentially batteries that get our energy from the sun, we need to eat things that have stored that energy which is why wheat grass is so nutrient rich.
Always make sure you have a knife and firesteel on your person. Learn how to filter and make water safe to drink.
Watch a few videos on constructing simple shelters.

Start taking responsibility for your survival now ( don't mean to sound sarcastic ).
The last shall be first and the first last. Think African tribesmen etc.
Watch the life regenerator on youtube starting from maybe his 10th video, he is a raw vegan and has been for 10 years. He lives on raw nuts, seeds, leafy greens and herbs, the way of the essenes ( spell ).
Don't even think about mushrooms unless you are 100% sure.
If all else fails have gratitude in your life and call on God when the darkness comes.

Never mind who invented the wheel, bushcraft should be taught in school.

is a video that shows you how to make raw bread by sprouting some grains, chopping up the sprouts, patting it out, and drying it.
I've been eating Ezekiel (flat, or wrap) tortilla bread, which I believe is made this way, except maybe with a roller machine to make it really flat. I personally find it to be delicious!
